“Kalley is an amazing sitter. She took awesome pictures and updated me daily on how my baby was doing. Thank you so much Kalley. We’ll be booking with again soon!”

“Yzabella and her family took AMAZING care of Louie. She was so responsive and sent many photos and videos. I knew he was in great, caring hands. We will absolutely be using her services again very soon 😊”

“Walter and his family are amazing! He provided consistent updates with pictures and was very accommodating to my short notice request. I will be using him again for sure!”

“Desirae was very responsive and accommodating. She sent daily messages and pictures of our dog. We appreciate Desirae’s support and excellent service. We’ll definitely book her again.”

“Tamra has kept Scooter on several occasions for us. Once for 2 weeks while I traveled overseas and very recently (under short notice) she took him in for us. Scooter absolutely adores Tamra. That is why I cannot see myself going with anyone else to watch Scooter. Tamra sends pictures and responds to any inquiries about my furry friend very quickly. She’s definitely the best sitter I’ve met. If you’re reading this review, please know that I rarely write reviews for anything. However, I know that there are many pet owners that probably get anxiety when choosing a sitter. Please know that Tamra will give your pet the love and attention it deserves. She’s absolutely amazing! Thank you Tamra.”

“Jordan was amazing. In her profile she mentions last-minute options & that saved our last minute trip. I'm new to Rover & expected people's availability was accurate but over a dozen people provided bad info. She accepted hours before we dropped our dog with her. She was kind & brought my dog on errands & Starbucks for a pup cup.😂 Her location is super convenient driving from Arlington to 81 on 66. She has a few children that loved playing with Opal. She didn't introduce her dog with ours which is fine. Would definitely reach out again if we go that way.”

“Our pup had a great time and felt right at home! He enjoyed hanging out with the family (human and canine). Cindy was very communicative during his stay, and we enjoyed seeing pictures of their walks plus playtime and snuggles.”

“Lauren provided excellent care for Bryce. She regularly sent photos and videos of him throughout his stay with her. Her yard is large and fenced in so plenty of space for your pup to zoom around. High recommend her for your dog sitting needs!”

“We felt very comfortable leaving Barkley with Katherine. It was for only one night and two days but he hasn’t been with anyone else for the year we have had him. Pictures and video were sent to us through out his stay and we loved that. We are very pleased with his stay at Katherine’s and will definitely book a future date with her.”

“She’s an amazing sitter ! Very communicative and responsive kept me updated and sent pictures and videos all the time ! Took great care of my doggies on short notice 110% recommend . My doggies were in wonderful hands ! This was my first experience with boarding she made it a great experience!”

“Leslie is incredibly kind and attentive. She took my dog out for a lot of exercise, and kept him happy and safe while I was away. She provided plenty of photos and video updates and followed instructions to a T. She has a big backyard and comfortable looking house in a quiet neighborhood. My dog is usually pretty shy and can take a long time to warm up to new sitters, but he was right at home with Leslie. I would definitely recommend her to others, and plan to book with her again in the future.”

“Amazing! Their place is super dog friendly and puppy proofed! My girl had such a good time and felt very comfortable in their home. Lori is so sweet and if we are ever back in the area I know who I will call!”

About: Hi! I’m Hope, a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet sitter offering in home dog boarding in a calm, family setting. I’m a stay at home mom to my two year old, so your dog will have constant supervision, attention, and care throughout the day. Our home is peaceful, loving, and ideal for dogs who enjoy being part of a family environment. We’re lucky to have a beautiful setup for pups: a fenced front yard/garden for safe outdoor time, plus an acre of land and nearby dog friendly trails for walks, sniffing, and exploring. Whether your dog loves playtime or prefers a slower pace, I tailor care to their needs and routine. Because I have a young child, I do require that all dogs are comfortable around children. Your dog will be treated like one of our own with plenty of love, structure, and attention so they feel safe, relaxed, and at home while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine since I’m a stay-at-home mom and home throughout the day. Your dog will be part of our everyday rhythm—morning outdoor time, walks, play, rest, and evening wind-down. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care without long gaps. Throughout the week, I keep a steady routine while also adjusting to each dog’s needs, energy level, and schedule. My goal is to create a calm, predictable environment where your dog feels comfortable and cared for like part of the family. I send lots of updates and pictures and follow all care instructions carefully! I want you to feel comfortable with your pet in my care!
“Heather is absolutely amazing! We’ve never left one of our dogs with anyone outside of family and it was so nice to see they had a blast and made themselves feel right at home. She is flexible, quick response time and has plenty of room for our dogs to run and play, also meeting some new friends with their dogs. We will keep our dogs going to Heather anytime we leave town and she is available.”

“Leaving our dog with Kristen was the best boarding experience she'd ever had! We don't often take a vacation without our dog, but the handful of times we had in the past, she was traumatized when I picked her up. She isn't crate trained and hates the little kennels at the vet and other commercial boarding facilities. Kristen's farm was like a vacation for her while we were on vacation! She loved the big open yards, having the run of the house, and being around the other dogs. Kristen is a warm, caring, responsible animal lover. It was like our old girl went to stay with a favorite aunt for a week! When I picked her up, she was dirty and tired and happy. ? Such a wonderful experience! We will always board with Kristen, as long as she can take us”

“Barbara did a wonderful job caring for our dog. She provided daily photo updates and consistent communication, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was clearly well cared for and happy. I would absolutely book Barbara again and highly recommend her.”

“Even thought this was his first visit to Michelle, Rusty was very comfortable wth Michelle and her family. He seemed relaxed and happy when we picked him up. I am sure he enjoyed the large fenced back yard.”

“My beagle, Elmer was much loved & taken care of during his stay with Erin & her family. Erin sends lots of photos & sends updates during the visit. Thanks again Erin!”

“Pamela did an amazing job taking care of my cat for a week while I was out!! She was really attentive and left me great pictures. I felt very at-ease knowing she was there to watch over my cat! 💛”

“Leaving your pets is always difficult but Kalley was so caring and thorough in everything she did, and with absolutely the best pictures and comments to reassure us. Also she took amazing care of our birds!”

“Ashley took excellent care of my cat Tala while I was away (even when Tala was not at her nicest!). Ashley made sure she understood my instructions at our meet and greet, and sent photos and updates for every drop-in visit. She was friendly, reliable, and professional—everything you want for someone watching your pet.”

“Thank you so much for your wonderful care of our cat, Georgie! Delainey did a wonderful job taking care of him while we were gone. She kept us up-to-date with photos and details, which make traveling much easier. Thanks again!”

“Charlotte was wonderful - followed all the directions and took photos of our kitty for us to see while away. Scooter is a very difficult cat but she sat with him and made him feel comfortable. I would definitely request her for Scooter's care again.”

“I used Rover for the first time and chose Jordan because of experience based on her photos with bigger dogs. She booked a last minute with a 3 day commitment requiring 2 drop in visits per day. She communicated with me quick and well, sent photos etc. I was unsure about using Rover and thought I might need to call or text, but now fully confident in the service. I would book with Jordan again in the future and probably won't go back to boarding. Our dog seemed happy to stay at home, and not stress being away from us and at a kennel.”
“Nothing but great things to say about Molly. She was on time, stayed the whole length of visit, was kind and generous to my boy and gave him lots of attention and play time. I received multiple photos and videos of him being a total goober with her. She made me feel reassured and secure in knowing that he was in very capable hands. 10/10, would recommend!”

“Christin is amazing! She was very accommodating and responded quickly for a last minute booking request. She was so understanding with all of my weird and quirky requests for our special needs kitty, and was able to pill him with ease. She sent detailed updates after every visit with super cute pics. Her care was a great relief- it made our vacation much more enjoyable knowing our furry kids were in such good hands!”

“Timely and conscientious, I never had to worry about leaving my two kittens in Virginia's care. She is detail oriented and thoughtful, she even sent cute photos while I was away.”

About: I have experience with puppies and seniors and everything in between, from small to medium dog breeds and even those with special medical needs. Taking care of dogs of all ages brings me much joy. I am flexible to meet your pets schedules. Your pets are sure to be spoiled while I am caring for them. I am happy to meet you and your fur-baby before any bookings-just say when! I am comfortable taking dogs on walks and playing in yards. I am willing to crate your fur-baby or leave them out (whichever you prefer) for while you are away.
About: I have walked and dog-sat for 7 years now with great reviews. Taken care of small 15 pound dogs to 80 pound dogs. Able to care with full attention and provide the best support. Flexible schedule, with willingness to negotiate certain times. Own 1 dog of my own, and have always had a dog in the house. I do not have any prejudice against specific dog breeds. Friendly personality, easy-going, and willing to match any dogs energy levels. Any restrictions, such as food or physical, are able to be accommodated and discussed. Possibility of last-minute scheduling, but be mindful of possible conflicts. I would need to know if the dog has any history of violence or biting, as that is a key factor for me to plan. I am a freelancer and have no major commitments that require my attention so I am able to fit pet sitting into my schedule very easily. I am able to do walks short or long, play dates, travel, medications, crating, dietary challenges, and most requirements that would come up for a pets needs.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and done training and dog walking in a shelter as a volunteer. I love getting dogs outside and letting them run around. I have been hiking with my dog for his entire life and was able to train him on the leash and off the leash to allow us to have the freedom to run free and the ability to get him on the leash and behave around other dogs and people on the road and on the trails. I have been dog sitting for the last 8 years and love spending time with all the pups. I can’t wait to take care of animals and give them the necessary play time and exercise when you’re not there to. I keep my schedule updated to where I am unavailable when I work to allow for your pets to get the utmost care. However I am willing to work with you around my work schedule! I have experience with reactive dogs and I will keep your dog safe and on a leash unless in a fenced in yard. I prefer staying at the dogs home to help them stay comfortable
About: Hello! Thanks for reading my profile! Some info about me: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have a rescue pup (Beauregard or Beau, a Boxer/Pit Bull mix). I have experience with a variety of sizes, breeds, and age ranges. Beau and I love to go for long walks/hikes and his favorite thing to do when not playing is snuggle up with his cats (or his humans) I am a firm believer in Positive Reinforcement Training and would be happy to work on/reinforce basic obedience training with your dog (sit, stay, down, come, loose leash walking, etc) during my visit. Meet and Greet: I would prefer to meet dogs/cats and their owners in your home prior to the requested service date to learn their routine and give them an opportunity to meet me with you. I understand that in a last minute scenario (if you schedule the same day as the service start date) this may not be possible. Please make sure you let me know the following: -how to access your home (key, lock box, garage code etc.) -location of dog (what room or in a crate) -location of leash, disposal for poop, and food/treats (if applicable) I look forward to meet you and your furry family! At this time, I am only able offer drop in visits at your home and walks in your neighborhood. If this changes, I will update this and my services offered. I'm available for daily walks/drop in visits a little later than Rover would let me select on most week days! I work in the evenings as of now so most days I am free for visits and walks from 0800-1600. I can hang out with your furry friends and give them love, work on any training cues you're interested in teaching, and take them for walks around your area

“Jordan was amazing! I plan to book her again if available! I can tell my pup was excited & happy with his doggy daycare visits. Not only did she accept my last minute booking, but she was open and very negotiable with pick uo & drop off times. She frequently sent pics, walked my pup multiple time a day & had no doubts leaving my dog in her care. Would highly encourage anyone to consider booking her for pet services!”

About: Hello all! I’d love to help you with your pet care needs. I have had pets most of my life, and am the current owner of a 3 year old chihuahua mix, and an 12 year old chocolate point siamese. I started using Rover over the summer a few years ago and have had so many amazing clients! It has also been a great experience when it comes to socializing my young pup. Before using Rover, I took care of family members pets and would find my own boarding, dog walking and drop in clients. I currently do pet sitting in addition to my full time job. I work for a high school so I get plenty of dates off including winter, spring and summer breaks. During these times I’d be home full time. Otherwise, Monday-Friday I care for the dogs when I wake up, go to work, come home and continue their care. That’s pretty much all I do. I have a fenced yard that gives my boarders (as well as my pup) plenty of room to run and play! Boarders stay on the main level of my house and are allowed on furniture, unless discouraged by owners. You are more than welcome to bring anything you think would make your pet more comfortable during their stay (ex. Beds, crates, favor toys or treats). If you crate your dog/s at night or while no one is home, I will do the same. I work full time but can balance your pets needs with my schedule. They will have a morning routine of going outside to potty and eating before I head to work. I often leave a tv on for them and I also have cameras to keep an eye on them while away. When I return home, they will have free roam from being inside to going out to the fenced yard to play and explore whenever they would like. I’ll feed again in the evenings (based on your feeding instruction of course) and eventually tuck them in for bed. :) For boarding, your pet will have access to my fenced in backyard where they can play and explore. When I’m away from the house, I can crate your pet upon your request. I leave it up to the owner! Your pet will be boarded on my main level. I NEVER leave pets outside and unattended while away from the house.

“Breezy had an absolute ball! She came home tired and Wendy sent tons of photos and videos. It’s so relaxing to know that she was safe and sound all day. Not to mention, she had tons of fun! Wendy was very responsive and answered all my questions. She really went above and beyond to make breezy comfortable and give her a fun filled day!”

“Lauren was a great sitter! She was very conscientious about making Max’s stay comfortable for him and checked in with me throughout the day. I would definitely have her watch him again”
“Shaghayegh is one of the best dog sitters I have met and I'm so happy to have found her! She's so friendly, super honest, and just does a careful and amazing job with my puppy. She takes him on multiple walks and sends me lots of pictures during the day. When I drop him off to her in the morning, he's practically jumping out of my arms to get to her and cuddle, so that's the best possible review that really matters!”
About: I have lived on my parents farm my whole life. While growing up I helped raise: horses, cows, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, you name it. About 5 minutes from my home is a humane society where I use to volunteer as a dog walker and foster. I have experience in birthing and raising kittens, one of which I chose to adopt myself. He is a sweet tabby named Bruno who I have the uttermost privilege of loving. I have a sweet spot for pit bulls but ultimately I love all animals unconditionally. If you choose me, I guarantee your baby ( or babies ) will get every ounce of my care and loving affection. When it comes to my daily routine, I work remotely and am blessed with a very flexible schedule. Therefore, I’ll have plenty of free time to entertain and care for your kids. I care for animals with my absolute full attention to their needs. I be sure to stick close to them so as to be certain they are satisfied and safe. :)
About: Dogs have always been part of our life and are treated as a member of the family. When in our house the dogs are allowed on furniture and we will treat them as they were our dog. We welcome calls to check up on your animal while they are staying with us. We will give them plenty of attention and someone will be around in the house to make sure they are doing well. We look forward to having your animal stay will us and giving them attention while they are here. We can even send you pictures or videos while you are gone to see how they are enjoying their stay. I am retired as a special education teacher and enjoy animals. Last year I lost my dog Sammy who was 19 years old and look forward to being with dogs. Our family treats pets like part of our family. We like to spend time with them and interact in the house as well as outside.
“My Hera loves Emily & her pup Peaches. Hera gets treat boards, lots of walks, snuggles, and activities. Emily continues training I do at home with Hera at daycare...such as auto sit at the street edge and wait for "cross" command before crossing the street. A happy Hera makes me a happy dog mama. 😀”

About: Hi, I'm Sara@ My passion is raising confident, well-socialized family dogs through positive reinforcement, structure, and enrichment. Dogs in my care are treated like family and stay in a home environment—not a kennel. I intentionally keep my capacity small so every dog receives individual attention, exercise, play, and plenty of affection. I have experience raising and training high-energy sporting breeds and especially enjoy working with puppies and adolescent dogs. Whether your pup is learning house manners, building confidence, or simply needs a safe and loving place to stay, my goal is to provide a positive experience that supports their development. My home includes children, which helps puppies learn appropriate interactions in a family setting. Safety, communication, and consistency are my top priorities, and you'll receive regular updates and photos while your dog is in my care. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a dedicated dog owner, my days already revolve around feeding schedules, exercise, training, enrichment activities, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Dogs in my care are treated like members of the family and are integrated into our daily routine rather than being left alone for long periods. I prioritize structured exercise, supervised play, mental stimulation, and positive reinforcement training throughout the day. Because I intentionally keep my capacity limited, I can provide personalized care and ensure each dog receives the attention, consistency, and companionship they deserve. When pets stay in my home, they are cared for as part of the family in a safe, structured, and supervised environment. I follow each pet's normal feeding schedule, potty routine, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by their owner. Throughout the day, pets receive plenty of attention, supervised play, enrichment activities, rest time, and affection. Because I keep my capacity limited, I am able to provide individualized care rather than a crowded kennel experience. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident and connected while they're away. For drop-in visits or care in a client's home, I strive to maintain the pet's normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, administering medications if needed, and ensuring the pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. My goal is always to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care while treating every pet as if they were my own
“Sophie enjoyed her day with Aaron! She was right at home with him as soon as she met him. Aaron sent pictures and it was obvious Sophie was content and having lots of fun! I did not worry at all. I highly reccomend Aaron and we will definitely be bringing Sophie back!”

About: Dog care certified in Argentina, as an animal lover I want to pursue career caring for them. Since young, I used to spend a lot of time in dog walks and parks with them. I believe now, I can provide them the perfect environment of a fenced backyard of 10.000 sqf. I love to exercise and pamper pups and we're easy to reach, even for a last-minute need. With some dog training experience and a lot of love for dogs, I look forward to taking care of your family member like one of our own. Depending on your pup's needs, I will take long playtime or jogs with your dog. If your furry family member just needs companionship and loving attention, I am happy to provide that kind of care, too. Photos of your dog will be shared with you throughout their visit. I love to send lots of pictures of my guests. My house is generally a cage-free environment, but will use your crates if that is what your pup is used to at home. I have a couple of gates to use as necessary to separate dogs during meals and to give them a large, safe play area in our home.
About: I've always had a love for animals and love working with them! I've grown up with dogs and love to be around them. I also used to work for a kennel for almost two years, I have worked for a doggie daycare as well for about 2 years! I am currently enrolled in an online vet tech course and plan to finish that in the next year or so. I currently work a full time job 8-430 but am available weekends and would love to watch your pets!

“Laura is such a kind, animal loving person! She is excellent at communicating and so wonderful with my dogs. They are excited when she comes over to walk them. Highly recommend her!”

About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. I’ve raised and cared for five dogs throughout my life, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds, so I understand the very different needs of small, medium, and large breeds. I trained my own puppy from 8 weeks old, teaching her a wide range of tricks and good behaviors, which gave me a lot of patience and training skills. I’m also comfortable handling more challenging dogs as one of my Chihuahuas was very aggressive, which taught me how to read body language and safely manage reactive pets, from a young age. In addition, I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs. I’ve helped raise multiple dogs into old age, including a German Shepherd that lived until 15, and a Labrador Retriever that lived until 17! I understand the gentleness, and care older dogs require. Overall, I bring a lot of confidence to this role because of my genuine understanding of dogs at every stage of life. I just finished my undergrad and plan to be home all summer. I begin graduate school in the fall online and will practically have no big everyday commitments. I have a few vacations planned but besides that I am an open book willing to work anytime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. (Dogs know their schedule!) I follow all instructions closely and carefully for any specific care needs. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. I have cared for dogs that experience extreme distress from their owner being gone and I have developed my skills to better care for dogs experiencing this. I’m also very attentive to behavior and health, so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I respect my client’s home by secure and exactly as I found it. My goal is to make both the pet, and the owner feel completely at ease, just as I would want if my dog was being watched.
“100% would recommend Christin to anyone! She is so professional and kind, the dogs love her. Such a sweet, responsible, courteous person., I cannot say enough good things about her!”

I am currently working full time with weekends off. My current work schedule is from 7-3 so I would be available for late afternoon and evening check-ins on week days. I am available on the weekends for any time of day. I will be home full time between June and August and available all day. I have a fenced in yard with lots of space for running and playing. I have two lovable Boston Terriers and two well behaved and socialized cats. We allow all of our animals on the furniture and lots of cuddle time. Our animals have access to water all day and we can feed them according to your schedule or leave food out.
About: I have always loved taking care of and spending time with all sorts of animals. I have personally trained two of my own dogs and have helped out with training for friends and family. I have walked and exercised dogs of all ages and sizes. I have raised puppies and kittens from birth and am very experienced with care before and after birth for the moms. I have taken care of reactive dogs and have dealt with many aggressive of leash dogs. I am currently a student at my local community college and I’ll be fully online for the summer, so I’ll have lots of time to take care of your pets! I have experience crating dogs, being with them out in the yard, or just in the house. It’s up to you how you want me to spend the time with them, but I’d prefer to be with them the whole time! I can take long walks, play in the yard for a long time or I can just cuddle with your pet or give them their space if that’s what they prefer.

About: (Brand new to Rover) I’ve been around animals since the day I was born, and dogs have always felt like big, goofy, furry toddlers — full of personality, joy, and chaos in the best way. I currently live in an anti‑pet apartment (tragic, I know), so I’m looking to fill that dog‑shaped hole in my heart by being the next best thing: your pup’s reliable walking and hiking buddy. I’m an active, outdoorsy person who loves long walks, trails, and exploring. Whether your dog is a tiny ball of energy or a large, gentle giant, I’m comfortable with all sizes, temperaments, seniors, and puppies. I’m patient, confident, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s quirks. What I offer: Long walks or trail hikes for high‑energy pups Picture updates so you can see their adventures Flexible scheduling — I’m a teacher on summer break, so I’m wide open With a friendly, upbeat personality, your dog will warm up quickly If your dog needs exercise, company, or just someone who treats them like the lovable toddler they are, I’d love to help. Let’s get your pup out exploring and having fun. As a teacher on summer break, pet care fits naturally and easily into my weekly routine. I’m active every day, walking, hiking, or spending time outdoors, so adding a dog to that rhythm feels like the most joyful part of my schedule. I have plenty of flexibility, which means I can plan walks around your dog’s needs rather than squeezing them into a tight window. (ADDITION: Until May 30th, I can only walk dogs on weekends because of my teaching and coaching schedule) Since I live in an anti‑pet apartment, all of my care happens in your home or out on the trail. I treat every dog like the big furry toddler they are, with patience, structure, and a lot of enthusiasm. Here’s what my care typically looks like: Consistent routines: I follow your feeding, walking, and potty schedule exactly as you prefer. Active outings: long walks or trail hikes for dogs who need to burn energy, or gentle strolls for seniors. Safety first: secure leashing, checking gear, watching for heat, and keeping a close eye on body language. Clean and respectful home care: wiping paws, refreshing water, tidying up any messes, and leaving your home exactly as I found it. Photo updates: I send regular pictures so you can see your pup’s adventures and feel connected while you’re away. Calm companionship: whether your dog is tiny and energetic or large and mellow, I match their vibe and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Because I’m free all summer, I can offer flexible scheduling, longer walks, and extra attention, especially for dogs who thrive on activity and routine.
About: “Compassionate Care for All Creatures – Big, Small, and Furry 🐕🐈🐴” Hi, I’m Virginia — owner of Virginia’s Haven LLC, where pets of all kinds are treated like family. From playful pups and cozy cats to barn animals and reactive dogs, I bring years of experience, patience, and love to every pet I care for. Whether you need daily dog walks, drop-in cat care, house visits for your senior pet, or even a calm hand during end-of-life transitions, I’m here for you and your animals every step of the way. I also offer pet taxi services to help get your furry loved ones where they need to go — vet appointments, grooming, or even just home from daycare. At Virginia’s Haven, it’s not just about pet sitting — it’s about creating peace of mind, compassionate support, and a second home for your animals. I’m available 7 days a week, all year round, including holidays. I know how important consistent, reliable care is — and I’ll always do my best to integrate you and your pets into my schedule, even during busy times. Whether it’s a last-minute walk, a weekend getaway, or long-term support, I’m here to help whenever you need me. 💖 🏡 How I Care for Pets in Their Own Home At Virginia’s Haven, I know that some pets feel most comfortable in familiar surroundings. Caring for pets in their own home means they can stick to their normal environment, scents, and routines, which helps reduce stress and keep them happy. When providing care in your home, I offer: 🐾 Familiar Routines — Keeping mealtimes, walks, and play sessions consistent with your pet’s normal schedule. 🛏️ Comfort in Their Own Space — Allowing your pet to sleep in their favorite spot or cuddle up with their usual blanket. 🦴 Play & Enrichment — Interactive play, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention tailored to your pet’s personality. 💊 Special Care — Administering medications or following specific care instructions for pets with medical or behavioral needs. 📸 Updates for Peace of Mind — Regular photos and updates so you know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away. This approach allows pets to remain relaxed and secure, while still receiving the same level of love and attention they would in my own home. ⸻ 🐶 How I Care for Pets in My Home At Virginia’s Haven, your pets are treated like part of the family — welcomed into a calm, loving, and structured environment where their comfort and safety come first. When caring for pets in my home, I provide: 🐾 Safe, Supervised Introductions 🛏️ Cozy, Designated Rest Areas 🦴 Plenty of Playtime, Enrichment, and Love 📆 Routine and Structure to help them feel secure 🐶 Individual Attention — especially for pets with anxiety or special needs I understand that every animal is different, which is why I tailor care based on your pet’s personality, preferences, and comfort level. ⸻ 🐕🦺 Important Note About My Own Dog 🐕🦺 I also have a reactive dog of my own who lives with me full-time. She’s incredibly loved and well-managed, but she does take some time to warm up to new dogs — we call her our “nervous nelly.” Because of this: • I use slow, controlled introductions • I monitor all interactions carefully • I may keep pets separated until I’m confident they’re comfortable Your pet’s emotional well-being is just as important as their physical safety, and I’ll always make thoughtful, professional decisions based on what’s best for everyone involved. 💖
About: Hi! My name is Taylor and I would love to spend some quality time with your pets! I’ve grown up with pets my whole life, and had a lot of experience with different types of animals. I’m open to any breed, and also any type of animal! My plan is to go to Veterinary school for a career, so i’m searching for any experience I can grab. I can offer love, kisses, hugs and more for your babies! We can’t always be home to show our animals the love they need, which is why i’m here to keep your animals company while you work, or cannot be home to do so! It would be an honor to meet all of the fur babies that I can! I am currently working 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday. I am available anytime before work and after work. I am also available all weekend! I am unable to sit any fur babies in my own home as I do have two cats of my own. I’m more than happy to keep your home tidy for when you return!

“My beagle, Elmer was much loved & taken care of during his stay with Erin & her family. Erin sends lots of photos & sends updates during the visit. Thanks again Erin!”

“Yogi enjoyed his stay. I like that there are options. Dogs can stay in the house. But if they are more comfortable outside, she has a deck with access to a fenced in grass area. Good communication. No problems.”
