About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my day-to-day. I’ve also cared for rabbits and understand their unique needs and temperaments. I’ve volunteered at several animal shelters over the years, and I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years. As a result, I’m very familiar with general animal care, handling, and behavior. I’m also experienced in administering medications when needed, so you can feel confident your pet is in capable, compassionate hands. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m living van life with my two cats, and my boyfriend travels with me, so pets get double the attention! I also have two years of experience as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable with feeding, administering medications, and handling a variety of care needs. My schedule is fully flexible, allowing us to adjust our day around each pet’s routine and provide consistent care, play, and companionship wherever we are. About: In college I was a house and pet sitter. I have had pets since I was in elementary school and am now a senior. I currently have three dogs of my own. I’m emotionally intelligent and good to work with. I work a half day as an Occupational Therapist educator in Wednesdays and as an OT practitioner on Fridays. About: My name is Julia! I’m new to Rover but not new to dog sitting! I have a dog named Dixie. Dixie is a Miniature Australian Shepherd and loves to play! We love to do everything together including car rides, going to the park, stores, walks, games, and enrichment activities! I have raised dogs my whole life but now I have Dixie. I am a huge worrier about leaving my dog with someone so I understand how important it is to have a safe place for your dog while you work or have vacations and that’s what I’m here for! I think it’s important to give dogs their best life possible 🤍 All dogs must be up-to-date on their flea and heartworm medicine. For Daycare: I currently work full time. I am off on Tuesdays so I can take some bookings on Tuesdays. I am pretty open on the weekends. When I go out, I bring Dixie everywhere with me, so I can bring yours too! For Boarding: I can take dogs for boarding, however on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays your dog would have to be crated for about 3-4 hours in the afternoon since no one will be home. Saturday and Sunday boarding I would be home all day! I have a fenced yard with certain areas blocked off that Dixie or other dogs should not go into. My gate is locked. I walk Dixie once or twice a day and play outside with her. I hangout inside when it’s hot out and play inside the house! I always make sure there is water and of course plenty of treats available!

About: I currently work as an animal protection officer for the City of Albuquerque animal welfare department. I'm can handle energetic pets with high physical activity needs. I have 2+years experience as a shelter volunteer and 1 year experience as doggy daycare attendant. I have worked with dogs and cats various breeds, ages, temperaments and sizes. I've handled various behavioral problems, health problems, and even special needs (visual impairment, hearing impartment, trauma, missing or damaged limbs.) I can do minor medical work, bottle feed, and have experience with cats and dogs from early puppyhood to end of life. I'm a college student working at a restaurant, but I am available throughout the day between school and work, and at nights. Overall pet sitting fits into my schedule just as well as any average person. I have a cat in my home who is vaccinated and well cared for, so if a pet is coming to my home it must be OK around cats, my cat is also used to dogs and other animals, although I would prefer to watch animals at their house. I care for them by feeding them according to their schedule, always providing fresh water, and taking them on any necessary walks, or runs, and of course cleaning up the poop or puke that occurs.
