About: Visiting pets will be treated like members of our family where they will be attended to all the time. I do not kennel my pets. I am retired so now I stay home with my pets. I am available all hours and will fit any of my schedule that comes up around your pets needs. My pets are my babies. They do not stay out all day. I have 1/3 acre of fenced grassy yard for pate to play in, when they’re not inside with me.
About: I have lots of experience working with dogs with Thyroid disorders, joint problems, hip problems, diabetes, and special diets. I'm very flexible. All you have to do is ask and we'll see. I raised my Great Dane from a puppy and have a huge heart for big dogs, puppies, and animals of all sizes. Over the years, I’ve cared for my own Great Dane, bunny rabbit, and cat, as well as pet-sat for other dogs and cats. I was also raised in a household with Siberian Huskies, so I’ve been around dogs and animals from a young age. I enjoy building a bond with every pet I care for and have experience with basic training as well. I taught my Great Dane commands such as sit, stay, spin, and shake. I also litter-box trained my bunny and taught my cat to sit for a treat. I’m comfortable caring for everything from small animals to XXL dogs, and I’m also open to caring for reptiles and other pets. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a gentle giant, a curious cat, or a smaller animal that needs extra attention, I’ll treat them with the same care, patience, and love I give my own pets. Your pets are family, and I’ll do my best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐶🐱🐰🦎❤️ I currently work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I can host your pet overnight in my home; stay overnight in your home if needed. Pop-in visits to provide breaks, walks, feeding if you live within a reasonable distance. I can also provide day care services. Very flexible and try to respond promptly bc we all have busy lives. I do not have a crate. Bringing your own crate is optional but not required. House broken/trained is preferred. I prefer to host 1 dog at a time. 2 dogs from the same household would be possible but prefer not to mix dogs from multiple households. ***Housesitting notice - I do have an 11lb Havanese puppy that would accompany me for overnight housesitting assignments. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
