About: I had a chihuahua for 11 years and have been around pets for my whole life. Always willing to learn and grow with new experiences. Becoming a full-time college student soon but I will make time for your amazing pets! I will communicate with you if there are any schedule conflicts to address. I have a big fenced yard and plenty of room for your pet to roam and play. I do not have any other pets so that shouldn’t be a problem.

About: I’ve had all types of dogs and cats throughout my 58 years of life. I currently have two beautiful Rottweilers whom I love dearly. Now that I’m retired, my goal is to get some land and have an animal rescue. I like spending time with animals more than people. I am retired so my days are spent spending time with my two Rottweilers and going to the gym and that’s about it. I have plenty of time to help care for animals that need me. I will care for your dog in whatever way you request. My schedule with them will be exactly what you want it to be. Both my Rottweilers sleep in my bed with me so if your dogs normally sleep in the bed with you, I will do that too. Actually it’s my favorite 🥰. I get sad when I have to leave my Rottweilers with family only because I know they’ll miss sleeping with me, going to their favorite park and chasing the ball, and spending the entire day with me. Animals get used to their routine and it stresses them out and makes them sad when they don’t get to do their normal things and spend time with their people. So I will try to make them as happy as they can be while you’re gone.

About: Experienced Vet Tech • Animal Caregiver I’ve been working with animals since 2017, beginning as a manager at a boarding, daycare, and grooming facility in Livermore, where I also cared for Alameda County Sheriff’s animals. Every temperament I met taught me something new and ultimately led me into veterinary medicine in 2019. Since then, I’ve worked in veterinary hospitals throughout Danville/Blackhawk, Fremont, and Pleasanton. After years in vet med, I’ve realized what I love most is simply caring for the animals themselves. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet—their quirks, routines, personalities, and what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I have a knack for connecting with animals and making sure their individual needs are understood and met. Most of the animals I meet end up becoming little friends of mine. I am taking a step back from my career and pursuit of Veterinary Medicine. I would like to get to the basics of what I know and love so very much. Caring for and spending time with each animal. Making sure they get the care they deserve, and so much more. I like continue with each animals normal routine. If they like to lay out in the sun for a few hours, that’s what we will do. If they want to play fetch until nap time, consider it done. If we want to go for a run through the neighborhood or a walk on a nearby trail, I’m ready to go.

Our ol' boy Jack doesn't always take to everyone so we wanted to introduce ourselves to the sitters to see how it went. Jack immediately took to Dominic and Mariam. They have good energy and met Jack on his terms. After a short visit we felt comfortable and knew we were leaving our boy in good hands. Jack is a senior and requires oral medication and a lot of attention. He also rides in a stroller to get to the park. None of these needs were of issue to Dominic and Mariam. They tended to our boy with care and gave him plenty of park time. We received photos and updates during the sit. They left our home nice and clean as if it were theirs. A trusted sitter for your pet and home. Will use again in the future and recommend them for your pet's needs. We also needed someone who worked from home so Jack wouldn't be left alone for too long. About: Some people innately connect with animals. Maybe this cannot be taught or learned. Even those animals who "don't like anyone" like me. It's a gift. Perhaps they can tell I'm a gentle giant and it makes them feel safe and protected. Whether cat or dog or some other creatures, I will lavish affection and attention on them (if they're into that). Or simply let them call the shots until they're ready to warm up a bit more. As a large, fit dude, I can manage even the strongest dogs, but I'm nimble and delicate with the smaller ones and cats. It comes naturally, and your pets will sense it. Summertime affords more flexibility for me as a teacher. I do have another PT gig currently on Tuesdays & Thursdays in the afternoons. But I'm mostly available the other 5 days for now, and am willing to spend time with your pets before and after shifts on days I work. For many years, I've cared for dozens of friends' pets. Long before Rover existed, I was a resident car provider in my community. Everyone knows I am reliable, professional, responsive, and flexible. Clean, sober, non-smoker.

While we were gone he kept us up to date on the doggos. But when I really knew we would be using him again was when we returned. First, our dogs cried at the door for 20 minutes after he left. They have never done that for another dog sitter. Second, often when we come back from a trip it takes the dogs a couple days to readjust to our normal routine. Not this time!
