“Whitney is so kind and loving! She helped provide last minute doggy daycare for my pup. She is very fast and consistent with communication providing lots of great pictures! I would definitely trust and recommend Whitney.”

“Dominie took good care of our baby boy. She sent updates with pictures throughout his stay. We had peace of mind knowing he was in goods hands 😊 we will be hiring Dominie again!!”

“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”

“Heidi is such a blessing and a gift to have as a dog sitter for my Roxy. Roxy is very attached to me and shy in new circumstances. Heidi warmed her over almost immediately and Roxy has stayed with Heidi 3-4 times a week for months. Heidi takes excellent care of her, takes her for walks, lets her swim in her pool, and sends great photos and updates throughout my 12 hour work shifts, which I greatly appreciate! Roxy is excited to see Heidi every time, and I always feel the feeling is mutual. My fears of leaving my dog with a new person were almost immediately squashed when I met Heidi and now Roxy and I love her dearly. Thank you Heidi for all that you have done!!!”

About: What makes me different about other sitters is I took the class for veterinarian and also grooming I have the certificate also I have experience in general I just love dogs a lot I will do morning and night what work with u work with me I just can’t wait to be working with your pets and make them safe Well, how do I care for my pets? I give them food water walk him take them to parks. Give her love and attention take her to the vet

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: For over 15 years, I have been a dedicated pet owner. I have cared for a wide variety of animals, including birds, cats, dogs, and reptiles. My schedule is wide open since I work from home, and so does my husband. That means your dog will have constant care, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Whether they need frequent potty breaks, playtime, snuggles, or just reassuring presence, we're here to provide a loving and safe environment with plenty of one-on-one time. We have a big fenced and structured yard giving your dog plenty of space to run, play, and explore safely. Whether they love zoomies, sunbathing, or just sniffing around, they'll have the freedom to enjoy the outdoors while staying safe. With constant supervision and lots of playtime, your dog will have a fun and enriching experience.

About: Dogs have been an interest to me since I was young. I can't recall a moment my home without one. I've cared for dogs of several different breeds, temperament, and intelligence. In grooming, I have experience in bathing, brushing, trimming and cutting fur of several varieties and styles. I've done ear cleaning, clipping/grinding nails, dematting fur, and checking and removing plant debris from paws. For exercise/stimulation, my experience is in walking, sprinting, toy play, and training basic commands. For medication, some experience is in medication administration (orally and injections), saline IV administration, ear ointment application and heart-congestion monitoring. I can follow specific medication timings as well as specific instructions to administer medication, from crushing pills to measuring and injecting saline IV. Also have experiece in providing accommodation for low mobility dogs, dogs suffering form specific physical conditions, or dogs suffering from anxiety. In dog nutrition, I am very aware of what dogs are able to digest and what is harmful for their health. There is extreme care with foods that are potentially dangerous to dogs. For their diets, I have experience in making and accommodated several different diets for dogs. Diets that I've had to accommodate are, kidney disease, whole food, meat only, puppy tailored, grain free, whole grain, low protein, and seafood. There is only one type of diet I am against and will NOT accommodate is the vegetarian dog diet. I have high experience to accommodate senior dogs. I've personally Raises 4 dogs into their senior years, two 17 year old, one 14 year, and one 12. With that I have experience in common conditions for elderly dogs, such as cataracts, mobility issues, trick knees, cancer, kidney disease, heart-congestion and more. As an avid weightlifter, I can manage dogs much stronger and larger than average dog. I am able to assist loading and unloading dogs up to 180lbs. I can protect extra small dogs from much larger breeds. Owning a 5lb chihuahua gave me experience on how to disengage and manage larger breeds that come into their personal space. I am currently part time and have a flexible schedule. Majority of my free time is after 3pm during all weekdays and mostly free during weekends. I can do certain times during the weekdays, just need to be notified a day before. My home has a fenced backyard that is cleaned 2x daily from dog waste. There are four other dogs, with one having a dominant personality and another being a very playful puppy. Both dogs can be separated from yours if they require a calmer environment. All four dogs are trained by me to behave, as well as barriers are all around the house to prevent unnecessary or unwanted interactions. Dogs will have a safe, solitary area provided to be able to retreat to if they need to. Dogs have 24hr access to clean water that is changed three times daily. Feedings are 1-3 times daily, depending on requirements and preferences. Dogs in our household usually eat a high meat, freshly cooked, and nutritious diet and occasionally eat kibble. Specific foods, diets and supplements can be easily accommodated for your or your dog's preferences/requirements. I've had lots of experiece with picky eaters as well.

About: What truly sets my pet sitting services apart from other sitter is not just providing basic care, but going above and beyond to ensure their pets are happy, healthy, and secure weather its in my house or their house. They need to feel comfortable at all time. “If you need someone to take care of your pet and someone who you can trust your pet with, I do recommend Danielle! My pups booking was last minute and I couldn’t find no one, I came across her page, she was my last hope. She thankfully said Yes! She is very kind and my pup was not scared to be around her. When I went to pick him up he looked great and did not have a sad or scared look.”

About: I love and have cared for dogs since I was 15, I have patience for any breed and I have open availability. My most recent dog I cared for is a pug. He was a puppy and I trained him how to go on the pee pads and when he got a little older we went for walks. I always go for walks, always make sure the puppy/dog gets enough attention, food and water. I have watched all sizes of breeds from chihuahua to a husky, unfortunately because I just moved into an apartment I could not watch bigger breeds from home but I am always willing to drive to you! I am super reliable, very trustworthy and respectful. Thank you for reading, I hope to hear from you soon!

“I used Summer’s daycare service while I was in town for work. She was helpful and her pup played with mine. She was available on short notice and sent pics of my pup. Will rebook again when I return.”

“I have used Breanna to watch my two German Shepherd’s at my house as well as taken them for socialization at the local dog park and does a remarkable job. Breanna has taken them to go hiking and get exercise and they respond to her really well. When she shows up they are eager to go. Jennifer C.
“Jennifer is truly one of a kind. She was my go-to person for my dog, Phoebe - a 4.5-pound chihuahua I adopted from the Humane Society. Honestly, she was a huge part of the reason I ended up adopting Phoebe in the first place. Phoebe was only supposed to be a one-night foster but through Jennifer's patience and experience, she became my forever friend and I can't imagine life without Phoebe! Jennifer gave me the confidence to adopt Phoebe. Initially, I was overwhelmed, but Jennifer patiently guided me through everything. From potty training to daily routines, she showed me the ropes with kindness, calm, and a great sense of humor. Her gentle and steady presence rubbed off on Phoebe, who developed the sweetest, most laid-back personality—a rare trait for a chihuahua! I fully credit Jennifer for that. What sets Jennifer apart is her intuition and attentiveness. She always went above and beyond—like taking Phoebe out to sunbathe just because she knew it made her happy. I never had to ask—Jennifer just knew. She’s incredibly reliable, communicates just the right amount, and was always flexible with scheduling, even on short notice. Phoebe absolutely adores her, and so do I. Anyone who hires Jennifer is not just getting a dog sitter—they're getting someone who will treat your pup like her own. I can’t recommend her highly enough!”
