About: I have worked professionally with animals since 2009 in daycares, humane societies, and my own dog walking and pet sitting company. I have a special love for rescue dogs, especially shy dogs. I am certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, am comfortable giving medications, injections, and fluids. I use positive reinforcement based methods and am always learning way to be a better pet parent. Your pets deserve more than being someone's side hustle- caring for animals is my only job! I am home all day with my personal animals, so your pet will be cared for like one of my own. Dog guests aren’t left alone minus an occasional errand. I have a large fenced in yard, 10 acres for leashed walks, and a large outbuilding with sand footing for dogs to play in during cold and wet weather. I have several social dogs of varying sizes and energy levels so your dog is sure to make friends. Shyer dogs who need time to adjust can have their own space in a room or separated with an exercise pen until they feel confident. My home has plenty of dog beds in every room and human furniture like couches aren't off limits.

“We are looking to find someone to board Ollie with for weekends. To start him out slow (he has separation anxiety), we had a Meet and Greet, a short (3hr) stay and later, a full day stay. Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”
