About: I've cared for cats and dogs my own as well as other owners, for the last 20-plus years I also have experience with other kinds of animals. I protect animals fiercely and I am extremely receptive of detail and specifics that any pet owner may have for me. I have varied availability throughout the week and weekend. Although I have another job, and have a family, I still have flexibility to do pet care. :-) I care for my own animals deeply in one of my top priorities is meeting their needs. I probably even go above and beyond for someone else's pet as I understand that someone else is putting their fur babies in my care. “We are looking to find someone to board Ollie with for weekends. To start him out slow (he has separation anxiety), we had a Meet and Greet, a short (3hr) stay and later, a full day stay. Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”

About: Hello there! While growing up with dogs it was very clear to me from an early age that dogs are the most warm amazing creatures. While we don't have any pets of our own right now our most recent best friend was a rescue Maltipoo who required special care and I truly adored taking care of her. Which is why you can trust me to love your family member as of it were my own! My typical day is really flexible. l workout in the morning however, I stay at home so I'm lucky my entire day has plenty of time freedom so I can love and cuddle your fur baby 24/7 which is important to me. I grew up in this area and have been here my whole life. My husband and I bought a house in Fitchburg 5 years ago and absolutely love our safe quiet little neighborhood. We have sidewalks and I love walking dogs- most likely wouldn't even see anyone else on our walks because of how quaint it is here. I can easily crate your dog if you prefer but in my home your pet is created like a human and is welcome to sleep in bed with me and to follow me around and be my shadow during the day!

About: I’ve always been passionate about animal welfare and care. There has never been a time I have not owned animals and currently has 4 cats and 1 dog. My experience stretches further as I have experience with anywhere from small animals such as chinchillas and guinea pigs to horses and previously working as a vet managing 90 baby deer. I share a lot of love and attention with my animals and would be happy to share that time and dedication with yours! I have a full time career in Human Resources for a large local employer where I work remote which has allowed me to have so many of my own fur babies! I am pretty flexible and wouldn’t accept a job where I couldn’t meet your animals needs. I have four cats that are well adjusted to dogs (including my neighbors 90 lb golden retriever) and a very social dog that my husband takes to the dog park 4 days a week. I also don’t mind staying at other persons homes as I have before with our neighbors and friends. You can expect that I will always treat your home and privacy with the utmost respect—just as I would want someone to do in my own home. If you have specific rules or instructions, you can count on me to follow them carefully and consistently.
