“Lizzy spent just 3 nights with Marianne and loved playing with the other dogs. Marianne sent daily updates of pictures and communicated about any challenges that came up.”

“Megan and her family were the absolute BEST to our dog, Nova. Not only did they take her on a 5k on thanksgiving, which our dog LOVED, nova got to go on long walks everyday and play lots outside, and they even made Nova a christmas ornament with her paw print!!!! Megan was so amazing and texted me paragraphs morning and night about how our dog was doing and what she did that day or morning, along with so many photos! They took such good care of nova, probably better care than we even do sometimes haha, and i was surprised she still wanted to come home with us and not stay with megan and her family. If i could give 10 stars I would, I would recommend Megan to everyone!!! We have never had such an amazing experience with rover before, and will always take Nova to Megan now when we need sitting.”

“Lisa and her husband Brad took wonderful care of my black lab, KC, for three days while we celebrated our anniversary in the mountains. KC came home happy, well cared for, and even proved me wrong about not liking chicken-flavored biscuits! Lisa and Brad are incredibly kind people who clearly love and care for the animals they watch. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and loving dog sitters in the Rigby area.”

“June and her family are fantastic. They watched Blu for a week over Thanksgiving and sent me daily photos and videos of his adventures. He had tons of fun and made new friends. June is easy to communicate with and I will totally use her again.”

“Marilee was so good with Maverick. He came back so happy. She was super easy and flexible to work with. She also sent photos showing us that Maverick was doing great! Will for sure be booking with her again in the future.”

“My puppy stayed with them for 10 days. I was worried because my golden retriever can’t get along with other dogs, so I was glad they did not have other dogs and only take one dog at a time. They have two small children who were very friendly to my puppy. My puppy just followed their children the whole time. I received several pictures everyday along with texts on how she’s doing. I’m so glad to find them. I hope they continue to host my puppy. Gives me a great peace of mind when I have to travel.”

About: Hi, I'm Kortni and I love animals. I grew up raising Labrador Retrievers and had horses. I now have a Standard Poodle and a Yorkshire Terrier. I love dogs of all breeds. I don't have much experience with cats but would be willing to do drop ins, feeding and watering. I frequently take care of my neighbors animals while they are out of town. We have a bearded dragon named Blaze. I also have been dabbling in freshwater fish tanks and have two of my own that I enjoy and maintain. Since starting with Rover I have taken care of other species such as ferrets, turtles and geckos. The list continues to grow 😊 DROP-INS:I will come to your house so your animals don't have to be stressed out staying at a boarding facility. A typical full day of drop-in care would include 3 drop-ins and would look like a morning, afternoon and evening time of your choosing. I include walks during drop ins as well if wanted and if there safe places nearby to walk. Some clients only want me to stop by once a day as their animal has full access to water, food and a place to relieve themselves. DAYCARE ONLY: On special occasions I am also willing to take one dog for doggy daycare in my home available 7 days a week. I have over an acre of fenced in property. If needing doggy daycare in my home, the pet MUST be vaccinated, good with children, other dogs, potty trained and crate trained. No puppies under the age of 1. No unaltered pets. No exceptions. If your dog does not meet this criteria I am not the right place for your dog. I have a respectful 6 year old and a 11 year old in my home that will never be left unsupervised with your pet. Your dog will primarily be inside of my home interacting with me all day. I have heat and air conditioning inside my home (depending on time of year). They will be let outside to potty and play. I also have a nice safe area to take them for walks as well, if wanted. My children are getting older so I'm finding more time. Anytime between 8AM and 10PM, 7 days a week. Located in the Rigby/Ririe area. My service area is also Rigby/Ririe. My dogs are my babies and so will your animals while in my care. Whether you are local or from out of town visiting, I will come to you and take care of your pets. I am very responsive to messages and will communicate efficiently. You will receive a fast response between 8 AM- 10 PM Mountain Time. I am willing to come multiple times to your home a day for loves, potty breaks, walking, feeding/watering.
“Charmaine did a wonderful job boarding my 2 dogs over a long weekend. She kept us updated with pictures every day and let us know how they were doing. My dogs had a wonderful time staying with her and I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook Charmaine in the future!”

“Camile & Aaron were amazing! They were super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. They sent pictures and videos of my dogs during their stay, and overall took great care of them. I would definitely recommend them! 😊”

“Jaylin and her husband watched over our two Corgis for nearly a week. Our inbound travels got delayed and they were flexible when we had to drop off a day later than originally planned. We received updates several times and they even bathed the dogs after they jumped into the baby pool for some water play. We really appreciate the good care!”

“My dog had an amazing time with Eliza and her dog Pearl, so much so that he missed Pearl when he came home. Eliza provided regular updates and photos and lots of communication. I’ll look for her next time I need a sitter.”

“Tiasha and Obi were wonderful! Our dog was supposed to stay with them for a full week while we were away, but unfortunately we all got sick and he only stayed one day. Even so, Tiasha was incredibly kind, understanding, and flexible with our situation. She offered help in any way she could and truly went above and beyond. Mootz and Obi became fast friends, and we will absolutely be booking with them again!”

About: Caring for dogs has been part of my life for many years. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have personally cared for, trained, and worked with my own dogs over the years. I understand their behavior, emotions, routines, and how important it is for them to feel safe, calm, and loved. I live on peaceful acreage with space for dogs to explore, play, and relax away from the stress and noise of crowded boarding facilities. Since I spend a lot of time at home working on the property and in the garden, dogs receive plenty of attention, supervision, outdoor time, and companionship throughout the day. I’m naturally very attentive and observant, and because of my medical background, I pay close attention to changes in behavior, eating, energy, comfort, and overall wellbeing. I truly treat animals like family and want owners to feel confident and at peace while their pets are in my care. Pet care is already part of my daily life. I spend most of my time at home on our property, so pets get plenty of attention, outdoor time, supervision, and a calm environment throughout the day. I take care of pets at home every day. I have my own cats and dog, so I’m used to feeding, walking and playing with them. I have a fenced yard where dogs can run and have freedom and outdoor time. If needed, they can also be in a crate.
“Jacquelynn, has always been amazing with my dog for daycare and now he boards with her too. He’s usually and anxious boy but loves visiting his friend Jacquelynn. 😊”

“Linda is so sweet and caring. You can tell she is a true animal lover. She is genuine, I feel good about leaving my dog with her. I appreciate that she's not distracted by other responsibilities and can give my dog all the attention and care he needs and deserves.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rigby
Zoe was great with our pet dog Ruger for a week while we stayed in a timeshare. We are very grateful that she agreed to watch our dog and she did a great job. She’s a wonderful person. Ruger was very happy with her. Even though she no longer pet sits in her home I would recommend her for her other services that she provides through Rover. Thank you, Zoe very much.!!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
