“Marianne is amazing at what she does! She was so patient, caring, and attentive to my dog Rosie’s individual needs. While we were away on vacation, we had complete peace of mind knowing Rosie was being so well cared for. One of our favorite parts of each day was receiving Marianne’s nightly update with pictures. She was so consistent, and those messages quickly became something we looked forward to every evening. We are incredibly grateful for Marianne and would highly recommend!”

“My dog Mabel, seemed to have a great time staying with Lisa! We wouldn’t hesitate to have her stay with her and her husband for any future needs! She provided photo updates that were much appreciated during her stay.”

“Camille and her family were great! Our pup was loved and played with. They sent pictures and said everything went well. They were even okay with keeping him an extra 30 minutes. We would use them as our sitters again!”

“Abbigail was very gracious to open her home to our Winston two different times. He had a great time enjoying all the snuggles and playing with her dogs in the backyard. We wouldn't hesitate to book again ❤️”

“Tearra was wonderful with my cat! I’d use her again and again. Her updates made me miss my baby a little less for sure. Tearra was great about sending pics, videos and communication. Highly recommend!”

“We chose William and his family to look after our dog because of their calm environment, kindness, and genuine care for dogs. We could tell that our dog was not just watched, he was well loved and taken care of. William was great at communicating. He even taught our dog a new trick. We’d highly recommend!”

About: Animals have been the heartbeat of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a ranch, I learned early on that caring for animals is a 24/7 commitment that requires patience, hard work, and a sharp eye for detail. From chickens and bunnies to cats and dogs—and even more unique pets like ferrets and birds—I was raised with the understanding that every animal has its own personality and specific needs. My parents gave me my first dog when I was 1, she was best friend till she passed away when I was 17 years old. I learned at a very young age how to care for dogs and all the responsibilities that go along with them. She was by my side, even when she passed. I have owned several more through my adult life and currently have 2 senior pups that have been with us since Itty bitty babies. As an animal mom myself, I know exactly how hard it is to head out on vacation. Leaving your fur babies behind and worrying about the level of care they are receiving can be incredibly stressful. Because I understand that bond, I promise that any pet in my care will receive the exact same level of love, attention, and high-standard care that I expect for my own. My goal is to give you total peace of mind; I’m here to make sure your pet’s routine is followed perfectly and their day is a little brighter while you’re away. My husband owns his own business and I am currently taking classes online at home on my own time to get my bachelors degree in accounting so rover fits my schedule perfectly and lets me do something I love. How perfect is that! Care in Your Home (Drop-ins & House Sitting) "When I care for your pets in your home, my priority is maintaining their sense of security and routine. I understand that a disruption in their environment can be stressful, so I focus on the details that matter: I stick strictly to your feeding, exercise, and medication schedules. Whether it’s a high-energy game of fetch or quiet snuggles for a senior pet, I’m there to provide genuine companionship, not just a quick visit. Care in My Home (Boarding & Daycare) "I treat every pet in my home like a member of my own family. My space is a 'pawsitive' environment where your fur baby can feel relaxed and loved while you’re away. Pets are never left unattended and have constant access to fresh water, cozy resting spots, a fenced in back yard, and plenty of affection. Can also crate if needed. Because I’m an 'animal mom,' I know that some pets need extra reassurance. I provide a calm, organized space where they can settle in quickly. Drawing on my years of experience growing up on a ranch, I am highly observant of animal behavior and health. I keep a close eye on their appetite, energy levels, and overall well being. You’ll receive regular photos and updates so you can see exactly how much fun your pet is having, letting you enjoy your time away worry-free."
“Denise is FANTASTIC!! We will be back! She was so sweet and took such good care of Queenie! She loved it there and it was so apparent she was so happy! So kind and the space is clean and well cared for!!”

Kortni was phenomenal with my senior dog, Mamut. She treated her with so much love and care and kept me updated with pics and news. Mamut has gotten a bit more anxious as she has aged and Kortni was very understanding and compassionate for my ole gal. Thank you Kortni! I appreciate you so much!

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
