I’m Yvonne—originally from Germany, now a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule and a big love for animals. 🫶 I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life—everything from goldfish and birds to mice and a sweet family cat. Ever since elementary school, I’ve loved helping friends and family by caring for their pets while they were on vacation. 🐁🐹🐭 My husband and I share our home with two amazing pups: Ares (our goofy black boy) and Laura (our sweet grey-and-white girl). They’re not just pets—they’re family! 🥰 We got Ares as a tiny 2.5-month-old puppy, and he’s a little genius. In addition to the basics like “sit” and “stay,” he also responds to fun commands like “spin,” “shake,” “jump,” “car,” and his favorite—“chicken treat!” Laura is our brave rescue girl. We adopted her when she was five, and it’s been a beautiful journey helping her heal and regain trust. Now she’s full of joy, cuddles, and belly rubs. Our toddler (he’s 2) has grown up around dogs—ours and my mother-in-law’s Rottweiler Sera and Bernese Mountain Dog Otto. He’s gentle, playful, and already a little animal lover. I’m a regular at the dog park, so if you’re nearby, chances are we’ve already crossed paths! I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, rescues, and pets with special needs. We were visiting from out of town for graduation, and Jazmin worked around our schedule to care for the dogs, sending photos and updates throughout the day. About: My husband and I were both raised with dogs. I also worked at a vet clinic in the past and learned a great deal about cats and dogs from my experience there. Additionally, my husband was raised on his family's sheep farm. The farm had sheep along with alpacas, chickens, cats, and dogs. I worked on their farm for about 3 years when we lived there while saving for a home of our own. We have a small friendly Yorkshire Terrier. We also have a 5-year-old who loves animals of any kind. Kid-friendly pets only please :) We live on a 2-acre lot with plenty of room for your fur baby to play. We keep a close eye on any animals in the yard for their safety as our yard is not fenced in however our house is off the road. Our house is pet friendly. We'd love to cuddle your fury baby when you can't. :) I'm currently working part-time from home so I will be hanging out with your pup most of the day. If I need to go in to work, it is only 15 mins from my house so I can always run home to let your pup (and mine) out. :) We have a 3-acre lot. There is room to run and play. In the house, we allow pets on couches and beds. We will do our best to make sure your pup is comfortable during their stay with us.

We were a little anxious leaving puppy for the first time with a sitter, but Amanda made us feel very comfortable with the whole experience. I’m not sure how often we will need a pet sitter, but we’ll definitely think of Amanda if we need one!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since 2008. I do neighborhood dog walking/feeding, and provide companionship for animals when their humans are away. I adopted a cat in 2021 who had health issues (stable now!), so I’m able to administer medication as well. I am learning about pet health daily and enjoy educating myself on animal wellness. I currently have a kitty, Jax, and a Golden Retriever puppy, Kona! 💕 We have a fully fenced in yard as of March 19th 2025. Kona LOVES to play, so we would be happy to take on one - two active dogs for daycare during the work week. They would not have full access to the entire home as we do have a cat, but would have a full large fenced in yard, and den/ living room area to spend time in. I firmly believe in treating any animal like they are my own. I am a passionate pet owner with my little guy, Jax, and my girl, Kona, and I expect the best care for them. I would provide to your fur babies with the highest standard of care and love. I’m working full time at home in a sales position. I have flexibility in the morning before 8AM, during lunchtime, and anytime after 5pm in the evening. I believe in quality time with pets while their owners are away. I provide care, cuddles, feeding, medication distribution, and extra pets to my fur friends!
