About: I’ve had animals in every corner of my life, throughout my whole life! I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats all with various needs such as medications, appointments, and mobile assistance. I have also volunteered with Wisconsin WildCare and local humane societies. I am a passionate & fearless animal advocate with speed dial access to a large animal vet and a retired DNR officer. I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.

About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). If you have specific requirements for your animal let me know and we can create a schedule that works best for you! I can perform any specific needs that your pet may need. One of my own pets has special medical requirements, so I am familiar with taking care of animals that need extra care.

“Matthew watches our German Shepard fora Week. Cooper loved him. When Cooper will sleep with you and let you give belly rubs you know he loves you. While we were gone I got a notice the lawn service was coming the next day for the final application of the year. I texted Matt and asked him if he could clean up the poop in the back yard. He not only cleaned it up he also raked the leaves. Amazing!! Before we left he spent an entire day with Cooper so they could get to know each other and see if he had any questions. He’s amazing and we will be using him next time we travel.”

About: Hi! I’m Kasi and I live in Mineral Point, WI I've grown up with pets my entire life. After losing my dog Lacey in 2021, it's felt quite strange not having a pet close by. I've taken care of both dogs and cats for over 4 years. Neighbors family and friends have counted on me to walk, feed, and make sure they go to the bathroom. I also work part time at a local pet daycare center so I've gotten to know pets very quickly. Each pet I've cared for has left their pawprint on my heart in some way shape or form-and forever will! I currently work remotely in Mineral Point, and also work full time for a non profit organization. I am able to stop by if you ever need me to. I have stayed at family homes to provide care for pets. I adhere to any instructions provided by each pet owner to ensure they maintain the same schedule before, during and after my stay. Having managed a multi-pet household (3 dogs, 2 cats), I’m an expert at maintaining routines, administering care, and ensuring every pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. All of my pets were specific in their needs and that individualized care is the best route. Pet sitting turned into a side hustle during college, and I loved it so much that I continued to balance it in my schedule after I graduated. As a teacher, I bring patience and organization to every visit, ensuring your furry family members get the care they deserve. I’m comfortable with everything from high-energy puppy play to the specific boundaries of a senior cat. Before the school year comes to a close on June 5th, I will only be able to care for a pet before 7:30am and after 4pm. About: I lived on a farm when I was a little one. Later, I was a trusted house sitter for relatives when they traveled (watching the home and taking care of 2 dogs and 2 cats). I owned my own cat for 15 years. I've taken care of farm animals but not on a regular basis. I'm competant with delivering meds and being really careful with senior pets and those needing special care. I'm one of those people who talk to pets like they are people. I can be there for the extra play and snuggles puppies need, but I think the initial potty training should be by their owner. I carefully listen to the owners and what their schedule is like. Then I morph my schedule to be very close to that so the routine is similar with me and their pet. I adhere to the pet owners instructions. I make myself available for the pet so we learn to trust each other. I show lots of affection, if the pet wants to receive it. If not, I can give them space.

About: Hi I’m Josie! I’m young, responsible, and flexible! I often take care of people’s pets (dogs, cats, etc) at their home while on short or long vacations. I am available for daily care (feedings and walks) as well as short term or long term pet and house sitting. I work from home most days and can be there as little or as often as needed! I work very hard at my full time job, but I get to work remotely so I am around for pet and house sitting! I’m young, friendly, and very active. I love animals and because I don’t have any pets of my own I get my fill by pet sitting 😊 I live in an apartment with a roommate so I prefer to stay at my clients’ home while long-term pet sitting. Otherwise I am available for daily care like feedings and potty breaks. Keeping the pets at home and having me drop by or stay there with them is usually most comfortable for them, anyways! 😊

About: I think something, I can proudly say is that I have people meet me once and trust me to watch their pets. I’ve had pets and I have taken care of friends and families pets since I was 12. Truly bonding with my pets was the highlight of my childhood, an experience that I know not every child is fortunate to have. I’ve seen my dog from puppyhood to his frosty senior days. The care is different of course, diets and lifestyle routine slow down and more careful attention is needed. Love is another key, all animals are deserving of being treated with respect and kindness. That includes the animals in the forest, since I work outdoors I see a lot of birds and critters and each one’s life is valued and admired. Like my job, the environment of the pet is important. Keeping the food and water bowl clean, is something I find some families neglect but I find that to be a little disheartening as you would not like to drink out a dirty water glass Services offered * 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day * 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away * Basic House-Siting include staying overnight with your pup so they have company and comfort in their own home, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and cuddles I currently work outdoors for Ice Age Trail Alliance, and unable to commit to the time for a long term companion, however I have just enough time to spoil and love on other people’s adorable pets :) Truly, the most important aspect of pet care is the establishing the safety and security of your pet. The initial meeting with your pet, getting familiar and making sure the pet feels like they can trust their caretaker is crucial. That establish trust between caretaker and pet, allows me to ensure the best case scenario for your pet. Whether it be, trusting you on a walk or worse case scenario luring your pet from under the bed or loosing the lead for a second. I offer comfort of house sitting or walking your pet to ensure their routine is uninterrupted. :)
