About: I have had my own pets since college, but grew up with dogs. I’ve had a range of dogs from border collies, to labs, to Great Danes, to Basset hounds. I also have had numerous cats. All of my dogs have lived long, exceptionally spoiled lives, and I follow current dog training suggestions for behavior. I’ve raised a few litters of Danes, and most recently, a litter of Bassets. I have a full time job during the week so am really only available on weekends, but depending on location, exceptions can be made especially if it is for just check-ins. I’m willing to come to your home and follow your pet rules so your pets stay comfortable and safe, and don’t have their routine disrupted.

About: I have over 30 years experience training dogs. I am able to dog sit from my home full time. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. I'm professional trained as a dog groomer, worked professionally for over 6 years as a groomer, dog trainer and doggie daycare provider. I have also worked as a vet assistant for 2 years in Denver Colorado. I was a volunteer at two different Humane Society's for over 12 years. I have fostered, rehabilitated and Rehoused 15 dogs most with serious behavioral issues. About: I genuine care and give attention to every dog as if they were my own. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I have grown up with dogs my entire life ranging from miniature dachshunds to saint bernards! I have experience from watching family and friends pets to taking special care of my two puppers. We follow a consistent routine of going out and exploring. We walk in the morning and night with potty breaks in between every 3-4 hours. Recently, I have been helping friends with their animals when they vacation and am looking to extend my client group to the local area. I am very active so walking dogs is very enjoyable for me. “Rachel was a great sitter and I will definitely be re-booking with her! Rachel boarded our Goldendoodle, Bohdi, for 8 nights - she was very accommodating, responsive, and sent photos/updates daily! She took him on daily walks or to the dog park, had a lot of play and snuggle time, and cared for him like he was part of the family! Our flight home was delayed and she was very flexible with adjusting the pick up time. Bohdi was well loved and taken care of!
