“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. About: I have had my own pets since college, but grew up with dogs. I’ve had a range of dogs from border collies, to labs, to Great Danes, to Basset hounds. I also have had numerous cats. All of my dogs have lived long, exceptionally spoiled lives, and I follow current dog training suggestions for behavior. I’ve raised a few litters of Danes, and most recently, a litter of Bassets. For overnight boarding in my home, dogs are safely crated at night (if crate trained or preferred by the owner) to help create a secure and restful environment for everyone. About: Hi my name is Jasira (Ja-Sigh-rah) and I am a loving puppy mama who is an all around pet lover! Those big doggie eyes just melt my heart every time. If your pet is staying at with me, they will feel like they are part of our family. Your pup will receive the same love and attention I give to my puppy and will be handled with extreme care. If you’re a cat lover you’re definitely want to book with me. Your pretty kitty will get all the love or space they want. I work from home so it is very easy for me to social distance. My baby is a 3 year old mix named Yoshi. Yoshi loves new friends and is always ready to hang out with many toys to share. He's a sweet pup and will make any guest feel welcome. He is always kept up to date with his shot records, flea/tick prevention, and everything that makes a happy healthy pup. In your pet's care bag, I mainly need to have your pet's food, favorite toy, and leash & poop bags. Other things you can include are food/water bowls, brush and any specific treats. Your pet must be clean upon drop off. Unfortunately if not, you must be willing to pay grooming fees or cancel our booking. I know how scary it can be to leave your baby with someone else so whether it be dog walking, dog/cat sitting you have nothing to worry about! Your pet will have an amazing time and eat some great treats (owner permitted of course)! I have dog puzzles and they will get plenty of fresh air! We’ll have a great day together that will include some playtime, some walks and of course some treats LOL I have a puppy so they have a built in friend. I’m happy to accommodate any specific needs or schedules that your dog may follow. Since I work from home I am able to walk my dog three times a day, play and have time for play. Treats of course are involved(with permission). I walk my dog in our neighborhood. It is very safe and there are lots of other friendly dogs to say hi to. I make sure to have my dog on a leash prior to opening any doors. In Yoshi’s playhouse all dogs are carefully watched and protected.
About: Growing up with a dog was a blessing! My parents have 3 dogs now so I have experience with multiple dogs/breeds. I also grew up with 2 cats! Im currently working as a RN so I work 3 days/ week. I have been looking for something else to do with my free time on days off! At home we had a fenced in yard and we would crate our dogs when ever leaving the house when they were young. I will be comfortable with what ever instructions you give me as long as they are clear.

About: Hi my name is Abby, I have been an animal lover since i was a tiny tot, from the creepy crawlies to large and fluffy I am your girl to take care of all your pet needs. I have 2 friendly pups of my own, Bruno is my older boy living in his golden years and my youngest Rose is a year old, I also own 1 indoor cat, 5 outdoor cats, along with a ball python and a blue tounge skink! I work in a warehouse in Madison but live out in the country south of madison on 10 acres of land. Over the years I have worked at 2 doggy daycare and one pet boarding facility. I am educated on dog body language, administering medications for both cats and dogs, BUT the most important thing of all I will love your pets like they are my own till you can come home! I work full time 8am - 4pm, Monday through Friday in Madison. I do not work weekends and usually have a quiet schedule and a lot of availability. I have crates with a security camera set on them so I can watch the pups at all times. When letting the pups outside I stay and watch them at all times, I also have 2 extra long leashes so your pup can run around and get some energy out but stay safe on the land.

I make sure they have the proper amount of time outside to use the bathroom and play. I bring new toys on occasion and play with them, not watch them play. But, I fit the needs you have so your pets routine isn’t too abrupt with the change in placement with me. Sometimes I will use dog diapers instead of crating them up unless that is what you prefer. That would normally be provided by owner. I do plenty of outside time and walks as well. I may only crate them if that is your preference when I am not there or time for bed. Owners preference.

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.
