About: With over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience, I provide dependable, loving, and personalized care that pets and owners can trust. My background includes caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, puppies, senior pets, high-energy breeds, and pets with unique routines or special needs. Growing up around animals and spending years working closely with them has taught me how to read pet behavior, create a calm environment, and build trust quickly. What sets me apart from other pet sitters is the genuine connection I create with every animal. I treat each pet like family not just another appointment. I focus on safety, reliability, communication, and making sure pets feel comfortable, loved, and stress-free while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication administration, or overnight care, I go above and beyond to give owners peace of mind and pets the attention they deserve. I will be available all summer full time from June- August as I am a high school teacher during the year. If needed I can also continue working part time during the school year. I provide a safe, loving, and dependable environment where pets are treated like part of the family. In my home, pets receive constant supervision, structured routines, plenty of playtime, exercise, and individualized attention based on their personality and needs. Safety is always my top priority I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space, closely monitor interactions, follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, and provide regular updates so owners always feel informed and comfortable while away. As a pet owner myself with a friendly golden retriever puppy, I understand the importance of trust, patience, and proper care. My puppy is well-socialized and helps create a fun, welcoming environment for visiting pets while still respecting each animal’s comfort level and boundaries. With over 10 years of hands-on pet experience, I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and someone pet owners can truly count on for peace of mind.
“Jordan is awesome! I never have to worry about my dog when she’s scheduled for a walk. He’s immensely taken care of along with our cat, who she also pets and gives so much love to. Couldn’t ask for someone better!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover with years of experience, I treat each dog like they’re my own, giving your four-legged family member personalized care, comfort, and attention—so you can feel at ease, knowing they’re in a loving home. I currently have a full-time job, but it still leaves me plenty of time to take care of and attend to your pets. In addition to boarding, I also offer walking services, house check-ups, and more. I’m available every holiday and weekend, ensuring your pets receive the attention and care they deserve whenever you need it most. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment to ensure both the pet and owner feel secure. Here’s how I approach each: In My Home: • Safety: My home is pet-proofed to remove any potential hazards, such as exposed wires, toxic plants, and small objects that could be swallowed. I also create separate areas for pets that need quiet spaces, ensuring they can feel safe and relaxed. • Trust: I maintain consistent feeding schedules, regular walks, and offer plenty of attention, ensuring pets feel secure and loved. I also keep owners updated with photos or texts, providing peace of mind. • Environment: I offer a warm, inviting space with plenty of room for pets to play and rest. My home is clean, free of clutter, and equipped with comfortable bedding, toys, and a designated outdoor area for play. In Client’s Home: • Safety: I follow all instructions from the owner closely regarding feeding, medication, and specific care routines. I also do a safety check of the home, ensuring gates are locked, harmful substances are out of reach, and the environment is secure. • Trust: Building trust is key. I arrive on time, follow the owner’s rules, and communicate regularly with updates. This builds rapport with both the pet and the owner. • Environment: I maintain the pet’s usual routine to minimize stress. This includes adhering to familiar walk paths, playtime schedules, and sleeping arrangements in their own home, creating a smooth, stress-free experience. This balance of safety, trust, and comfort helps me ensure that each pet is well cared for, whether in my home or theirs.
“April is awesome. She was easy to communicate with and asked a lot of valid questions in order to provide our dogs with the best care. The dogs enjoyed her company and she gave us peace of mind while we were away.”

About: Hey there! I’m Allie. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your fur-babies, and my goal is to help both you and your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I always recommend a meet and greet so we can get acquainted and make sure I’m the perfect fit for your pets. I like to take the time to sit down, get to know both you and your pets, and answer any questions you may have. I moved to North Carolina from Virginia in 2019 when my husband’s military service brought us here. Since then, I’ve been pet sitting full time while completing my college studies. At home, we share our lives with our dog and two cats, who inspire me every day to provide loving, dependable care for all pets. I’ve spent my life around animals and have worked professionally in nearly every area of pet care, including animal hospitals, boarding facilities, grooming salons, and in-home pet sitting. These experiences allow me to confidently care for pets of all ages and temperaments, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets. Including administering medications and providing extra support for pets with medical or behavioral needs. I’ve had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of animals, from dogs and cats to hamsters, bunnies, reptiles, chickens, goats, and horses. If I haven’t worked with a species yet, I’m always eager to learn. No two animals are alike, and I love discovering what makes each one special so I can provide care tailored to their personality and needs. I am very flexible and able to provide your pets lots of quality time. 30 Minute Drop in: This is a quick visit to check in on your pet. I’ll let them out for a potty break, refresh food and water, give any needed meds or treats, and spend time playing or cuddling. I’ll send you photos and updates along the way. Perfect for a midday break or some company while you’re away. Overnight Stay: Your pet will have company and care throughout the night. I’ll follow your evening routine with dinner, a potty break, any meds, playtime, then stay overnight for supervision and comfort. In the morning, I’ll handle breakfast, another potty break, and fresh water, while keeping you updated with photos and messages. Light home care, like checking mail or plants, can also be included. Ideal for pets who need extra comfort and prefer staying in their own home. When caring for others pets I treat them as my own. Whatever your pet needs, I'll happily accommodate them to the best of my ability. I always triple check doors are locked when I leave, and that there is nothing in reach that could be harmful to your pets. (human food, dog treats, toys etc)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
