Kristina was absolutely phenomenal with dropping in with Coop when I went away for an entire weekend!! I booked her to just let Coop out to the bathroom and feed him and she went above and beyond by taking him for walks and playing with his ball outside!! Would totally recommend her for any of your dog sitting needs!!

Elizabeth took excellent care of our elderly cat. She was delightfully responsive, responsible and flexible in scheduling, sent photos during her visits and even spent time with him on our porch where he loves to hang out. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for us and our cat. Highly recommend!

Dane and Kayla were wonderful taking care of both, our dog and our cat. I liked that they own as well a dog and a cat, making them more understanding of their needs. They kept me ip to date daily with several pictures and I could see my pets were happy. I had to prolong my trip for unexpected health reasons and D&K were the nicest. They extended the contract and even helped me by buying more food for both animals when it ran out, until I returned to pay them back. I felt they really cared for the well-being of our pets , not just to fulfill an obligation. I would hire them again if needed and feel happy to recommend them to anyone searching for good care for their pets.

About: I will treat them like my own, keep you updated, leave notes, can help train puppies. I will help with medications if needed. I went to school for veterinarian Technician but stopped to help my parent's needs. Hopefully will go back to it when things calm down in my own personal life. I'm very hands on and I do personally like to meet owners and their animals a week or so prior to taking care of your babies to make sure we are all in a good spot before I am with them by myself. Some animals are trickier and more skittish than others. I do not do overnight stays at client's homes. I will go to your home 2-3 times a day depending on the animals and their needs. I also at this time have 3 dogs, 2 rabbits, a guinea pig, 2 birds, a Ball python, and a Leopard Gecko and a Bearded dragon. a dad who needs me on hand, a parrot, and a flock of homing pigeons that all need me, but I do feel I balance it out very well. This does go hand in hand with what I said Above. I do keep a positive environment for your animals. I do bring treats with me for any reason at all. Especially when I need to keep your animals trust for myself to take care of them for you or just because giving them a good boy or girl treat is never a BAD thing. Ya know? If you want them walked just let me know, If you have a fenced in yard I'll go outside with them and play with them. I can take them on walks as well if you would like or if they are being really energetic I can as well. If toys and attention from me isn't cutting it for them. I really just try to keep them happy, healthy, and safe while you are away. If you have any comments, concerns, questions that I didn't really answer on here. I do work long hours Monday- Friday plus my dad and everything the phone isn't always the easiest. BUT if you do call or text me, I will get back to you as soon as possible.

About: Hi! I'm an animal lover who's been around & caring for them my entire life. Caring for pets has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I've grown up with animals and have experience caring for my own pets as well as dogs, cats, and other animals belonging to friends and family. My husband and I have experience with raising puppy litters over the years as well! I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I want to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. Whether your pet needs a walk, some playtime and attention, meals and medication, or simply some company, I'm happy to provide personalized care based on what works best for them. My schedule is very flexible and I'm responsible, dependable, and will treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own. I love sending photos and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and doing well while you're away! I work part-time from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I'm usually able to work around your pet's routine and am available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting throughout the week. I'm happy to work with different schedules and do my best to accommodate whatever works best for you and your pets! I have two friendly medium-sized dogs (Shiba Inus) and a very social kitty who are very well socialized with other animals. They are all indoor/outdoor, so if your pet enjoys having some company, they're welcome to interact with them - or I can keep them separate if they prefer their own space. I have a private, fenced-in backyard where your pets can safely get some fresh air, exercise, and playtime. I want every pet to feel comfortable and safe, so I'll always follow your preferences and your pet's individual needs.

About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember, beginning with cats in early childhood. At the age of seven, I got my first dog, which further strengthened my passion for animal care. I later worked at a kennel, where I received hands-on experience and training in many aspects of pet care, including recognizing behavioral cues to better understand animals’ emotions and needs. During my time there, I learned how to administer medications and injections, including insulin for diabetic animals and supplements for those requiring daily care. I also gained experience working with handicapped dogs, including tripod and wheelchair-assisted dogs, as well as animals of various ages. In addition to my professional experience, I personally cared for my own senior dog, which provided me with extensive knowledge and understanding of senior pet care I am currently unemployed, so I am able to take anytime of the day for the next possible two weeks or so. Once I find a job, I will have more strict, set hours that line up with my new job. I have kennel experience which has provided me the training needed to take care of people's fur children while they are away. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as I worked with several of them while working at the kennel, and grew up with one of my own.

About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was 12, and I’ve spent the last 18 years caring for cats, parakeets, and small snakes. I have hands-on experience with pets who need extra support, including caring for a family cat with cerebellar hypoplasia. I’m comfortable administering medication, trimming nails, and sticking to routines that help pets feel safe and comfortable. For the duration of undergrad, I volunteered at a bird sanctuary, where I cared for and comforted sick and lonely parrots—an experience that was truly life changing. While I’ve never owned a dog due to family member allergies, I’ve always loved them and have spent plenty of time around them. My neighbors and brother had pit bulls that I regularly played with and cared for, which gave me experience with energetic, affectionate dogs and helped build my confidence handling them. As a cat mom to Luna and MooMoo, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. Whether I’m stopping by for drop-in visits or taking your dog for a walk, I’ll treat your pets like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently working full time at home so I am available after 5 pm for dog walks and drop ins. I can make exceptions and do daytime check ins if local to the Lebanon, PA area. I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, medication administration, and any special accommodations your pet may need. I take time to build trust and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins to give pet parents peace of mind. My goal is to care for your pets and your home with the same respect and attentiveness I would give my own.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Kristina for almost a year & She did a drop in 4 days a week for our girls….. With our time coming to an end as I transition into becoming a stay at home mom we are so sad to say goodbye to her and our girls are sad to see her go as well. She treated our home and our pups with such respect and love that I could not say enough about her. She’s reliable( never had her no show or cx last min) , she’s trustworthy(we felt safe with her in our home and to care for our pups) and she has GREAT communication( updated us on the pups everyday and if she had days that would not work we knew LONG before).. I would strongly encourage you to have her stay with your fur babies! After a year of working with her I can strongly say we will never consider using another sitter (if we ever need one). (:

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Richland. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
