I think they might take better care of him than we do at home! My only disappointment is that I didn't immediately secure dates for another upcoming trip and they are not available. I don't think you can find someone better to take care of your pet! We got daily updates and photos that reassured us that Arthur was in great hands- he was smiling in many of the photo updates!”

I've grown up with animals and have experience caring for my own pets as well as dogs, cats, and other animals belonging to friends and family. My husband and I have experience with raising puppy litters over the years as well! I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I want to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. Whether your pet needs a walk, some playtime and attention, meals and medication, or simply some company, I'm happy to provide personalized care based on what works best for them. My schedule is very flexible and I'm responsible, dependable, and will treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own. I love sending photos and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and doing well while you're away! I work part-time from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I'm usually able to work around your pet's routine and am available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting throughout the week. I'm happy to work with different schedules and do my best to accommodate whatever works best for you and your pets! I have two friendly medium-sized dogs (Shiba Inus) and a very social kitty who are very well socialized with other animals. They are all indoor/outdoor, so if your pet enjoys having some company, they're welcome to interact with them - or I can keep them separate if they prefer their own space. I have a private, fenced-in backyard where your pets can safely get some fresh air, exercise, and playtime. I want every pet to feel comfortable and safe, so I'll always follow your preferences and your pet's individual needs.

“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”
