“Julie and her family took great care of our dog Penny and treated her as their own. She had a spacious farm to roam and explore and other dogs to socialize with. This was the longest that we have left our dog but Julie provided regular updates of her visit. Our girl returned happy and tired!”

“Once again Cori made me feel really good about leaving my pups in her care. She’s a doll to work with. As if one quirky bull terrier isn’t enough, how about adding a 1 y/o bull terrier and leaving both for 2 weeks? Cori had her hands full but dealt with the issues the young one caused (regression potty training issues, territorial issues, etc). As always, very communicative and understanding about the young one (we figured out that since Pixie was newly rescued, that she must’ve been confused about yet another home she’d been shuffled off to and that was probably the source of the angst). Bodie wasn’t neglected or ignored in this. He may have even gotten to sleep in a human bed… 😂 We don’t have any trips planned any time soon but Cori’s still top of my list (if she’ll have Pixie again!) when I need someone.”

“Once again Dana took excellent care of our Australian Shepherd! She’s our #1 go to on Rover! She provides so many updates, takes him on long walks every morning, lets him go on errands with her, and truly treats him as her own. I just know that it’s bittersweet for our pup to come home and lose so much 1 on 1 attention haha. Highly recommend!”

“She was awesome and I didn’t worry about Simon while we were away. It was the first time we left him so at first I was very nervous. Simon had separation anxiety during his stay and she was patient and understanding. She kept us updated on how he was doing throughout his stay with texts and pictures. Will definitely be booking her again for any future trips without hesitation.”

“Once again, Heather to the rescue. We needed last minute boarding for our pooch and Heather was available. Duffy loves being at Heathers place - it’s like a second home. I always know she will be well cared for! Thanks Heather!”

“Rebekah did a wonderful job! I would highly recommend her. She was very thoughtful and attentive to my little dog, who is never been boarded anywhere. She did a great job!”

“Connie is an awesome dog sitter. Super flexible for rapidly changing travel plans, and generous with photos. How cool is it to be able to share videos of your pup with family on vacation. My dog loves the big back yard, loving family, and built in playmates. I love being able to leave her with people I know will love on her as much as if not more than I do. Win-win. ”

“From the moment I met Kathryn and her family during the meet and greet for my two pups, I knew they were in the best hands. The warm and welcoming environment they provided instantly put me at ease, and I could see how much they genuinely cared for animals. Throughout the dog sitting services, Kathryn went above and beyond to ensure my pups were comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. Her dedication and love for animals truly shone through in everything she did. I am so pleased/grateful for Kathryn's exceptional care and will definitely be utilizing her services again. I highly recommend Kathryn to anyone seeking a reliable, loving, and trustworthy pet sitter. Thank you for everything, Kathryn!”

“I felt so at ease for my sweet pup under Heather’s care. She sent me pictures and updates everyday on my two week trip, and Lark settled in rather well and LOVED her dogs and cats and felt a part of the pack! We will definitely be using her again in the future 😊”

“This was the first time that I had to use a sitter for Misty and I would recommend Matisa to everybody. She has years of experience caring for animals which was top on my list of concerns. She is caring which totally was a relief for me to know that Misty was in good hands. Thanks you so very much for the care you provided for Misty.”

“Traci watched our big senior boy for a week previously so when we had another week long trip, we knew Leo would be in good hands with her! Traci is very thoughtful and made sure Leo was comfortable, despite him being anxious being away from his family. She provided lots of updates and photos and we felt happy knowing that Leo was in good hands. Thanks so much, Traci!”
“Linda and her family were great! I loved that she sent videos and pictures throughout the day. My Yorkie, Titan, was very happy and well taken care of during his stay. I would highly recommend using Linda and look forward to using her again in the future.”

“Fantastic experience, Jennifer’s frequent updates and pictures allowed us to be able to relax and enjoy our vacation. Her dog Charlotte and our puppy played well together. Our puppy keeps asking to go back. Totally will use Jennifer again, and highly recommend her.”

“Great communication leading up to our stay. Jeleesa was amazing with my pup! My dog came home just as happy as when I left her- I highly recommend to anyone needed a “home away from home” for their animal!”

“Highly recommend! She took amazing care of our dog, kept us updated with messages and pictures. We felt completely at ease knowing our pup was in such great hands. Will definitely book again!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
