“Emily was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Nico! She has cared for him over multiple days, and I couldn’t have asked for a more reliable, attentive, and compassionate sitter. Emily handled both oral meds and injections with complete confidence and care. She also kept me consistently updated with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled cat sitter—especially if your cat needs a little extra medical attention.”

About: I’ve cared for low, medium, and high energy dogs, small, medium, and large breeds, friendly and reactive. I’ve dealt with food allergies, leash-pulling, SQUIRRELS! and anxious dogs. My 4.5 year old just passed in July 2025 due to cancer. He had food allergies, was reactive to other dogs, and was extremely smart and athletic. He was also very vocal and obsessed with toys. He was trained in the basics, running with me, basic scent work, counter conditioning for his emotional outbursts, and random tricks. He was very selective about who he liked and suspicious of strangers. I had a lab as a kid who loved absolutely everyone but would steal your food if you weren’t paying attention. I’ve had experience with dogs of many personalities and needs. I will treat your baby like my own. I can work with dogs of any age. I am available on most weekends during the school year, and any time during winter, spring, and summer breaks. Weekend walks, drip-ins, house-sitting, and boarding are all easiest for me. Weekdays are tough because my regular job is a teacher. Walks: properly fitting harness and leash, treats, following the rules of the road/crosswalks/etc. Client’s home: follow your instructions for dog care; always make sure dog is happy, fed, watered, crated or otherwise secure in the home etc. as asked. Doors will be locked when I leave and your home will look as clean as it was when I arrived when I leave.

“Would definitely book Jennifer again! Our cats were clearly well cared for while we were away, and the house was clean of any pet messes (food, litter, etc.). Would recommend Jennifer for sure!”

About: Hi there! I’m Melissa, originally from the Boston area and I service in and around Boston. I’ve been working with Rover for over 6 years and have more than 12 years of experience in pet care overall. I offer dog sitting, walking, and drop-in visits, and I’ve cared for pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments—so I’m well-prepared for just about any situation. I also offer services to cats 🐱 I grew up with two Staffordshire Bull Terriers and often helped care for neighbors’ pets. During school breaks, I volunteered at my local animal shelter, gaining even more hands-on experience with dogs and cats alike. I’m also comfortable caring for cats and have pet-sat for many feline friends over the years. Above all, I’m a true animal lover. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and treat every one of them like my own. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! I have a flexible schedule and availability. Currently available Monday-Sunday for services. Please let me know your schedule and prospective days you will be needing services. Cancellations are allowed up to 24hrs beforehand. Depends on what the particular pet needs. Typically I like to meet the pet first, especially if it will be a reoccurring visit. I would like them to be comfortable with me by the time I arrive to care for them. As well as I asked clients on the type of home they may have just to understand the environment better. If the client is comfortable, I’m also open to visiting their home before a house sit so I can get a better idea of the environment I will be taking care of the pet.

“Jennifer was amazing caregiving for our senior, anxious pup and we're so grateful for her! She's very flexible, dependable, a clear communicator, and most of all so loving and understanding. Our pup has a lot of extra needs (medicine, a poor bladder, separation anxiety) and Jennifer handled all of it wonderfully. We'd absolutely recommend her!”

About: For the past few years, I’ve been the reliable go-to dog and cat sitter for friends and family. Whether it’s daily drop-ins or walks, I make sure every pet is well-fed, comfortable, and given plenty of love and attention while their owners are away. I provide a calm, friendly, and energetic presence that pets (and their humans!) respond well to. My schedue is open throughout the week during the morning, afternoon, and early evenings. This flexibility allows me to accommodate a variety of pet care needs. Whether you need a last-minute drop-in or a consistent weekly walk, I’m flexible to work with your routine and your pet’s needs. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. In your home, I follow your care instructions closely and maintain a clean, respectful environment. I will ensure your pets are fed, walked, and have everything they need to feel at ease while you’re away. I can also provide updates, photos, and quick check-ins for peace of mind.

About: I’ve taken care of pets just about all my life, from cats, to dogs, to fish ! I love all walks of life and I’ve trained, fed and snuggled all of them! I have a pretty flexible schedule ! I prefer Tuesdays through Fridays, I am working on leaning toward building a new career out of pet/childcare! I am very passionate about it , I’m punctual , and I love loving ! As you might see in prior parts of my profile I’ve had many pets, and many ways I’ve taken care of them, if you prefer leash, off leash, in fence ect. Considering it most likely won’t be in my home I will follow and pay attention to how you keep your pets safe!

“Erica treated my cats like they were her own, and regularly stayed longer than the scheduled 30 minutes. She made sure they had food and water and played with them when they wanted it.”

About: I have pet sat for a 100+ pound Bernese mountain dog on multiple occasions. I also have a 3 year old Australian labradoodle (cobberdog) that I have raised since she was 12 weeks old. I love dogs probably more than your average dog parent. I always try and make eye contact with other people dogs when walking in the hopes of saying hello. I would ideally work for someone looking for a dog-walker or someone looking for a person to come and feed their pet. We walk our own pup 2-3 times per day, usually at least 1 mile for each walk, sometimes as high as 6 miles. I believe strongly in treat training as I have used it to very good effect with my own very stubborn dog! I view my dog, as part of my family, not as a pet. When you take on the responsibility of caring for something other than yourself, it becomes family in my mind. I would be willing to walk a dog, or dogs, and I am not intimidated by the need for long walks. I would gladly pick-up your dog and walk them elsewhere, or walk them local if preferred. I also am amenable to day time check-ins and play sessions to make sure your pup gets the love and play they deserve. I am unfortunately allergic to cats so I cannot assist with feline family members.

“Natalie did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away. She was well cared for. Communication with Natalie was excellent in setting up the visits and during when any potential issues came up.”

About: What sets me apart as an animal caretaker is not just my love for animals, but a lifetime of hands-on experience that has shaped my understanding, patience, and intuition when working with them. With over 15 years of living alongside dogs and farm animals - multiple breeds, temperaments, and ages—I’ve developed a deep and almost natural ability to read their body language, respond to their needs, and build trust quickly. I’m currently able to accommodate a magnitude of schedules with flexibility Mon-Sun depending on needs and desires of those that allow me the opportunity to nurture their fury ones. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or someone else’s, my top priorities are creating a calm, comfortable environment where animals feel secure and loved. With over 15 years of hands-on experience raising and living with dogs, I understand that every animal is unique and so are their needs. I take the time to build trust with each pet, using patience, positive reinforcement, and gentle consistency to ensure they feel safe and understood. In my home, pets are welcomed into a clean, secure, and structured space that’s designed with their comfort in mind. From proper introductions to supervised play, I maintain clear routines that reduce stress and support healthy behavior. If I’m the dogs home, I prioritize respect for both the pet and the space, adapting to the pet’s routine to minimize disruption and maintain familiarity. I treat every animal with the same level of care and attentiveness I give my own, always keeping their physical safety and emotional wellbeing at the forefront. My goal is simple: to provide a trustworthy, nurturing environment where pets can thrive, no matter where they are.

Elana M.
“Elana is a dog whisperer. I have never seen her meet a dog that didn’t like her. She loves dogs, and they love her. She adopted her own dog from a rescue organization and raised him from a puppy. She has trained him exceptionally well and has kept him in excellent health. He is a big dog around 60-70 pounds. She has also cared for numerous other dogs, including my dog Hazel, who is about 45-50 pounds. Elana is very knowledgeable about dogs, dog training (positive reinforcement methods), and keeping dogs healthy and happy. She is very capable of dog sitting and walking almost any dog even if the dog requires special care, a special diet, or some extra patience due to anxiety or other issues. I have ask her for advice about dog training myself. She has more experience with medium and large dogs but can handle any size dog. Elana would be a great choice for a dog walker or dog sitter.”

Renata N.
“When my partner had brain surgery in 2024, Renata came from Massachusetts to Washington state and stayed for two weeks to help care for my partner during her recovery. Renata provided loving support nonstop, in the hospital using her nursing expertise to assist the care team or help when they were away, and at home afterwards throughout the days and nights. I trust Renata’s attention to detail and responsibility, and have been thankful since I met her for how kind, loving, and caring she is for those in her life. When I or others have been or would be exhausted, I’ve seen Renata continue to provide the same level of care without fail. She is a natural nurturer who will care for your pet as her own and who will be easy to communicate with and provide peace of mind to pet owners.”
