“Emily was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Nico! She has cared for him over multiple days, and I couldn’t have asked for a more reliable, attentive, and compassionate sitter. Emily handled both oral meds and injections with complete confidence and care. She also kept me consistently updated with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled cat sitter—especially if your cat needs a little extra medical attention.”

About: I’ve cared for low, medium, and high energy dogs, small, medium, and large breeds, friendly and reactive. I’ve dealt with food allergies, leash-pulling, SQUIRRELS! and anxious dogs. My 4.5 year old just passed in July 2025 due to cancer. He had food allergies, was reactive to other dogs, and was extremely smart and athletic. He was also very vocal and obsessed with toys. He was trained in the basics, running with me, basic scent work, counter conditioning for his emotional outbursts, and random tricks. He was very selective about who he liked and suspicious of strangers. I had a lab as a kid who loved absolutely everyone but would steal your food if you weren’t paying attention. I’ve had experience with dogs of many personalities and needs. I will treat your baby like my own. I can work with dogs of any age. I am available on most weekends during the school year, and any time during winter, spring, and summer breaks. Weekend walks, drip-ins, house-sitting, and boarding are all easiest for me. Weekdays are tough because my regular job is a teacher. Walks: properly fitting harness and leash, treats, following the rules of the road/crosswalks/etc. Client’s home: follow your instructions for dog care; always make sure dog is happy, fed, watered, crated or otherwise secure in the home etc. as asked. Doors will be locked when I leave and your home will look as clean as it was when I arrived when I leave.

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, including multiple senior dogs and dogs with anxiety. My entire family has had, or currently has dogs, so I’ve been surrounded by furry friends my entire life! In the past, I've trained my own dog to sit, lay down, shake, and even dance—so I know how much time, love, and patience pets need. I also understand how important it is to find a sitter you can truly trust. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, giving them attention, affection, and reliable care. My wife and I dream of one day owning a personal farm where we can give even more animals a loving home. Until then, I’m here to provide your pets with the next best thing—a safe, happy, and caring environment. I'm a musician, so my schedule is a bit more flexible and less traditional—which works perfectly for giving your pet the care they need, even on short notice. I'm most available during the day, but I understand that things can change quickly in life, so I do my best to accommodate last-minute requests too. Whether it's a quick walk or some quality time while you're away, I’m here to help keep your pet happy and comfortable! When I found my dog, Rhythm, in college, she quickly became my best friend and my whole world. From the start, I felt a deep responsibility to keep her safe—like I was the only one who truly could. That experience taught me how important trust is when it comes to our pets. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new, which is why I prioritize safety and care above all else. Every pet is different and deserves personalized attention, and I’m committed to making sure they feel secure, comfortable, and loved while you're away.

About: Hi there! I’m Melissa, originally from the Boston area and I service in and around Boston. I’ve been working with Rover for over 6 years and have more than 12 years of experience in pet care overall. I offer dog sitting, walking, and drop-in visits, and I’ve cared for pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments—so I’m well-prepared for just about any situation. I also offer services to cats 🐱 I grew up with two Staffordshire Bull Terriers and often helped care for neighbors’ pets. During school breaks, I volunteered at my local animal shelter, gaining even more hands-on experience with dogs and cats alike. I’m also comfortable caring for cats and have pet-sat for many feline friends over the years. Above all, I’m a true animal lover. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and treat every one of them like my own. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! I have a flexible schedule and availability. Currently available Monday-Sunday for services. Please let me know your schedule and prospective days you will be needing services. Cancellations are allowed up to 24hrs beforehand. Depends on what the particular pet needs. Typically I like to meet the pet first, especially if it will be a reoccurring visit. I would like them to be comfortable with me by the time I arrive to care for them. As well as I asked clients on the type of home they may have just to understand the environment better. If the client is comfortable, I’m also open to visiting their home before a house sit so I can get a better idea of the environment I will be taking care of the pet.

“Andrea is the best! She is so perceptive with our (slightly feisty & very nervous) cat, and never pushes him to interact if he doesn't want to. She sends lots of photos and videos, and even sets up a cute little treat scavenger hunt with all of his toys so he has something fun to interact with once she leaves. Highly recommend Andrea for all of your pet sitting needs!!”

“Natalie did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away. She was well cared for. Communication with Natalie was excellent in setting up the visits and during when any potential issues came up.”

“Erica treated my cats like they were her own, and regularly stayed longer than the scheduled 30 minutes. She made sure they had food and water and played with them when they wanted it.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong, hands on experience with both dogs and cats. I’ve owned pets my entire life, including those that were fully house trained as well as those that needed more attention and patience. In addition to caring for my own animals, I’ve dogsat for friends and family over the years, which has given me experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and routines. I'm comfortable handling pets with different energy levels and needs, whether it’s giving extra attention to a senior pet or helping keep a young pup on track. My approach is always calm, consistent, and caring; treating every pet as if they were my own. I work full, but that does not stop me from caring for animals. I have taken care of various pets while being a full time student. My week nights and weekends are always open to be fully involved with your pet! I always have a watchful eye, having years in experience as a camp counselor and having to make sure young ones stay safe. I also am patient with animals and understand for both of us to be safe, we must be respectful to each other.

“Maddie took wonderful care of our babies, and sent us updates while we were away. I will definitely be using her services again next time I’m out of town.”

About: I have had a dog for 8 years and have always made sure to give her the best quality of life possible in terms of health and care. I am a very big dog person and have spent many years learning about them and how to properly care for them. Many of my friends who have dogs often come to me for advice or specific recommendations in terms of dog care. I have experience with bathing/grooming, basic training, and I love to make sure they are entertained and getting the proper attention they need and deserve. I am currently a full time university student, but thankfully I have a short commute and can make time throughout the day. As of now I am on my summer break and am not taking any courses. I always prioritize making sure that doggies feel comfortable and I approach them with care. My own dog has anxiety so I have hands on experience with situations like that. Many dogs require a large amount of exercise, and as I love walking, I am willing to do long walks and will never get bored of letting a happy pup release it’s energy.

About: I have had animals my entire life. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, and other small animals (rats, mice, guinea pigs, etc). I am available anytime, 7 days a week. I love animals and I would love to help you and your furry family! I am not able to care for pets in my home because I have two cats of my own. I have several years of experience house/pet sitting at my client’s home (I also offer cleaning services on a case by case basis!).

About: I’ve had my own dog since early on in my childhood until adulthood. I started rover, when I still had my 11 year old golden retriever, he has recently passed away but I loved our daily walks and understand the need for a dog walker sometimes! I understand the needs of a dog and how dogs need attention. I’ve dog sat other dogs for my friends and have always been a dog lover since early on and love meeting new dogs! I am currently a full time registered nurse working nights. I will try to update my schedule on a regular basis as pet care would be worked into my days off & my schedule does vary every month! I care for other pets as if they were my own. I understand being a pet owner how I would want someone else to treat my dog with the same love.

About: I've always loved offering help taking care of friends and family's pets. “I'm Liv and Elana is an awesome pet sitter. She has a dog of her own who lovers her so much. she has taken care of my dog before and my dog loves to see her coming for its walks. I very much recommend her as a pet sitter”

Rye V.
“Rye watched my senior dog and kitten during a last-minute trip, and I couldn't be more grateful. He responded and connected with me so quickly, despite the short notice. He did a wonderful job caring for my pets and even gave medication to my new kitten, who had a cold. I usually leave detailed instructions for new sitters, but due to the time crunch, I wasn’t able to prepare much. Still, Rye handled everything effortlessly. It was clear right away that he knew what he was doing, which really put me at ease. He also sent updates and photos while I was away, and I returned to two very happy pets. Rye was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be using his services again. 10/10!”

Hannah B.
“Hannah is my #1 go-to pet caregiver. I have observed Hannah's work with a variety of animals, young and old, and she can be counted on to keep all pets safe and loved. Hannah is an active caregiver who is not only reliable, but engaged with the animals in her care. She can provide support for outings, administer medication, and be trusted to care for pets in their own homes or out in the world. She is thoughtful and communicative with pet owners - sharing regular updates and photos. You couldn't ask for a better caregiver.”

Kimberlyn L.
“Kimberlyn Larios. Has a great passion for animals, but especially for dogs, when she is in a room with a dog, there is an immediate connection between the two. She has had years of experience being a dog owner herself, but also with being with dogs from family and friends. If anyone close to her ever needs a dog sitter Kimberlyn is the first person they call. She portrays many great characteristics, but most importantly responsibility and commitment.”

Cynthia M.
“When Cynthia cared for my mini-poodle, Luka, she did a fantastic job! I always felt safe leaving him in her care. She took care of him as if he were her own pet and he still loves seeing her to this day! She helped with grooming, feeding, taking him outside, playing, and more. Cynthia is someone you can trust with your fur baby!”
