I also have experience with rescue dogs in my home, although I am taking a break from rescues for the time being (it's so hard to let them go!) I am comfortable caring for pets with anxiety and medical needs such as medication, eye drops, ear drops, and medical crating. About: I’ve raised two puppies from the ground up, giving me hands-on experience with everything from basic training to building strong routines. I also have extensive experience walking and working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a chill senior, I’m confident in providing safe, loving, and reliable care. I'm currently a college student, so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your doggies. On weekdays, I'm generally available from early morning to evening time (7am-8pm). The exception is Wednesday evenings, where I am not available after 6, and Tuesday nights after 2pm. Preferably I like to be free on the weekends, but I can always make exceptions. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine in a familiar, comfortable environment. I handle feedings, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions with care and attention to detail. For the past two years, we’ve volunteered with the Richardson Animal Shelter, helping care for dogs with different personalities and needs. We fostered a Pit Bull Terrier mix and helped her find a loving forever home, which was an incredibly rewarding experience. We also rehabilitated a shelter dog who was underweight and anti-social due to past trauma, helping her become healthy and trusting again. I have previous experience dog boarding on Rover for about a year, as well as months of experience doing drop ins and walks. I am also very active and comfortable with running with your dog if they prefer when on walks! About: Growing up, my family has always had multiple dogs at a time. The house is too quiet without the patter of their paws. I have also taken care of friends and family members pets when they go on vacation . Small, large, or grumpy, I can get along with all animals of any age. I currently have 2 dogs at home, a yellow lab and frenchie. Both dogs love meeting new dogs and people. Over the past year I’ve started a fitness journey and walk frequently with my lab. She is 8 years old this year and cannot walk as much anymore due to her joints. I enjoy my long walks with dogs, so let me walk your dog!
