About: I've been around all kinds of animals since I was a kid. I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, birds, hamsters, rabbits and even ducks. Besides the family pets, I had my own dog since he was 4 months and passed at 13 years, my own cat who was the feral barn cat turned domesticated & living with me until she passed at about 14 years and my own horse I had since I was 10 until he passed at almost 39 years old. I have been around cats my entire life. We've had many barn cats turn domesticated in our house. I know cats can be wildly indpendent and I respect that of them. I can also give cats meds. I am comfortable with overnight stays and provide frequent photo updates every 1–2 hours (or as often as preferred). With 4 years of professional experience as a Lead Kennel Technician, I strictly follow all feeding instructions, routines, and medication schedules exactly as directed. I am trained to assess situations calmly in an emergency, and I will always contact pet parents immediately. If a situation is beyond my control, I will not hesitate to seek veterinary care right away. Safety is my top priority. I am extremely attentive with leash handling and strongly advocate for secure, fenced areas for any off-leash time. I triple-check doors and gates and remain aware that other animals’ behavior is unpredictable. While I may visit dog parks if requested, I approach them with caution and close supervision. I also follow professional sanitation protocols to maintain a clean, healthy environment for every pet in my care. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel completely safe, informed, and at ease!
