About: My husband and I have been dog owners for many years. We recently lost our Yorkie, Sage, at age 12 to cancer. We decided to not get another dog at this time, but would love to be a pet sitter for your precious pup. Both my husband and I are retired and have regular availability. One of us is home at most times. We would require to meet your pup before the stay to ensure good compatibility. We would walk your dog on a leash. Our yard is large, but not fenced. Easy access for potty breaks. We will have open access to our home unless crating is your preference.

“This was our first time to use Rover, and we hit the jackpot with Patty! We were traveling, and her home was close to the event we were attending. When we warned her that our pup is very vocal in new situations, she joked that our pup would be welcomed by her sweet pups with equal enthusiasm. She was right and completely amused with the "party". Later we received photos of all the dogs just lounging around her home after they finished their initial greeting. Patty is just a natural with dogs, and we will definitely call her if we ever need care for our pup while we are visiting in her area. We wish she was closer to our home - this would be a fun day out for our pup on a more frequent basis.”

About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes. I also have several years of experience with birds. I know how important socializing is to birds, and leaving them alone can cause problems and stress. Boarding of cats and birds can be discussed. As I'm nearing retirement from the Healthcare field, I would like to do more of what I love, which is caring for and spending time with animals. As far as boarding your dog, my husband and I work different shifts, so someone is always home. A fully fenced back yard and good sniffer walks in my small town. Your dog is welcome on the couches and downstairs bed. Access to entire 1st floor. I can also crate if preferred. Baths and nail trims are no problem! I have a 60lb staffordshire terrier who loves all kids, people and dogs. It's playtime almost 24/7! Unless it's nap time and he's professional at that also!

About: I’ve taken care of three personal pets as well as pets of family members as well, including aunts, cousins and even my grandma. I’ve take care of most of them since they were babies and helped train them as well. I currently work full-time at Riverside medical center. My off days are Thursdays for one week and Tuesdays and the weekends for the next. I would be free anytime after 3 on my workdays and my off days are free game and I’d be willing to fill in anytime. My pet at home is properly taken care of and fed. We do periodically potty breaks and feed her whenever she wants food. Also, she’s given baths from time to time as well.

About: My husband and I are very unique. We would have a farm if we could. We live in a smaller home, but have so much love between our pets and kids. I have three boys that I am obsessed with. I love being a boy mama 💙 I am a personal trainer but have cut back on hours so I can hang w my kids while they are young. I sometimes forget about how I was a nanny for 10 years and a dog sitter for about 15. I would love to do my passion again knowing I have so much more free time at home. My 5 year old is in school all day, my 3 year old has preschool twice a week for 2 hrs, and my newborn just goes for the ride. I'm always home on the weekends, and during the week I'm always looking to do something-which I would love to show my kids how to treat animals. If your pet is not good w kids, I can also drop them off w their grandma for a bit. I always make it happen ❤️ She loves some grandson time. All our pets are spoiled because they are our family too. Our dogs have dog beds all around, even though they sleep on couches and beds w us. The cats have cat towers and toys and get the free range of the house. We used to have a nanny because I wanted someone here for the kids, but also the pets. It always made me feel better knowing someone would always be there for them too.
