We decided to not get another dog at this time, but would love to be a pet sitter for your precious pup. Both my husband and I are retired and have regular availability. One of us is home at most times. We would require to meet your pup before the stay to ensure good compatibility. We would walk your dog on a leash. Our yard is large, but not fenced. Easy access for potty breaks. We will have open access to our home unless crating is your preference.

About: My husband and I are very unique. We would have a farm if we could. We live in a smaller home, but have so much love between our pets and kids. I hope we can raise our 3 kids to love animals as much as we do. I have been a pet sitter for about 15 years, but grew up in a house of animals. My family's huge animal lovers. I primarily work weekends, so I have lots of free time during to week to check on and play with youre doggos. I have limited availability on weekends, but can sometimes work visits in. I focus on making pets feel comfortable, safe and loved in their own environments. Each pet has a different routine, whether it's feeding, walking, play time, or taking medication it's important to stay consistent in order to help them feel relaxed. Sometimes dogs can play all day, it's important to take into consideration their health and well being, so even if they still want to keep playing they might need to take a little break sometimes.
About: I've been taking care of dog for as long as I can remember. I'm able to take care of/ watch dog from puppies to seniors. I've watched dog with and without disabilities, and I know how to administer medications from pills to shots. I also know how to preform cpr and the heimlich if needed. I currently have a part time job and work 4 to 5 days a week from 9am to 3:30-4. I always will try my best to work around my schedule to accommodate my clients needs. About: I have always grown up with cats. When I was young I began helping my mom cat-sit for neighbors and family. I have 30 years experience with loved ones cats. There was never a time in my life when I didn't have a cat. About: I’ve never had a time where I did not have at least one dog. I love animals and would love to help give your pups a place to feel comforted and loved when you are away. I do work full-time but am typically only out of the house from 8:30am to about 4pm daily. After this we are home all evening and able to care for the pups as needed! From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes. I also have several years of experience with birds. I know how important socializing is to birds, and leaving them alone can cause problems and stress. Boarding of cats and birds can be discussed. As I'm nearing retirement from the Healthcare field, I would like to do more of what I love, which is caring for and spending time with animals.
