I can't ever be sure how long certain tests and treatments may take, and Savannah was flexible about pick up. I know my dog was probably super stressed meeting Savannah and her family for the first time, and being left alone with strangers for the first time, but I was surprised to see pictures of my dog laying down next to these new friends of hers. They must have had a great impression on her :) I used to work in animal care and took care of dogs while their families' were away myself, and I was still a nervous wreck to leave my dog alone with someone new, even for such a short time, but I'm grateful Mercy had good company. Savannah took pictures and even walked Mercy despite her stay with them being so short :) I hope Mercy has a new bestie to visit when I have doctor's appointments in the future.”

About: I have always had a love for dogs! Friends and family have trusted me to care for their furry family members for years. :) I have been responsible for the food, bathroom, and exercise needs of multiple animals at once. I am currently a full-time student at Purdue University - As a college student I have many breaks in the week-day and weekends available. Home for the summer! :) I will be walking your pet around the main Purdue University Campus or in the northwest chicago suburbs, keeping to safe sidewalks/crosswalks as well as near public buildings/spaces in case of emergency. safety is always my priority! feel free to talk with me about your comfort levels regarding our walk and any areas/streets you would like us to stick to or avoid. Parks and neighbourhoods for walks unless requested otherwise:)

About: I have a daughter who loves pups and want to be a Vet. We will give love and care for your pup while taking care of them. Also I usually go for a walk as many as I can. I'm currently staying home with my kids. So I will have plenty of time to play with your pups. I'm usually available for boarding on the weekends as well. I have a fenced back yard area where your pup could run around and play. Also I have separate half basement play area for kids and pups.

About: I've lived with dogs and cats my whole life. When I turned old enough, I started to learn how to take care of them. During high school I was a dog sitter for my aunt's two dogs. During each visit I took them outside to play, then I would feed them and hangout with them inside for awhile so they were able to interact with someone everyday they were gone. I’m a full time Purdue student majoring in fitness, nutrition and health. During my free time I like to stay active in any way I can. One of my favorite things to do is walk and take care of dogs. My school schedule is set up to where I have multiple days during the week to where I’m free to do so! I have strong passion to care for dogs. I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, so as a little girl I learned how to properly take care of animals and this drives my passion. I take care of dogs as if they were my own, showing them the love they deserve. This builds a trust and bond between me and the dog.

“Mitch is a very pet friendly and loving to animals and when we go on vacation we trust him watch and care for our two cats and German shepherd and now we have a female husky that he gets a long with and they all love him. They all get excited when they see him and then no longer want us when he’s around. He would be great at this type of work with animals.”
