About: I’ve taken care of animals as small as rats and fish ranging to livestock since I was young! I have had all myself and they’ve all been spoiled and happy as long as I’m around. Your pets will be able to tell I’m an animal person and you’ll be relived to go away as your pets will be in great hands! I’m currently working part time at horse stables and still have plenty of time to go spend time home to care for my fur babies and my bigger outside babies lol. My life is technically revolves around my pets care and my part time job is taking care of huge animals that need extra attention, and before this I worked on a diary farm taking care of even bigger animals. at home I make do , I have a huge yard out in the country, I can use the electric collar if needed, leash, or off leash with recall as I do have a horse on the property and another dog and outside cats who they may chase. Any clients home I do the job I came to do and then I do anything extra to make the client feel as if I didn’t just do my job and actually enjoyed and felt comfortable with their pet taking a picture video giving treats extra pets and cuddles etc…
“Latasha was wonderful! She took excellent care of my baby and really went above and beyond. She was so great with my girl and it was so reassuring to leave my dog in her care. Book her now, you won't regret it.”

“Evelyn is a super responsible home and pet sitter, our Golden girl Pennie just adores her! We are always able to enjoy our trip knowing our home and Golden girl is in very good hands <3”

About: I've lived with dogs my entire life and have never met a dog I can't connect with. I love dogs of all sizes and behaviors; I have experience counseling groups of kids at summer camp, so I have no trouble managing dogs in a group or with rowdy tendencies. I truly love all dogs and would love to meet yours! I am currently working part-time in St. Louis on the weekends, so I am available weekdays at any time. I have access to a car and the ability to be flexible with timing and distance as well, just contact me! I can work with any number and any kind of dog! I grew up with a couple dogs of different sizes and I currently live with 2 little ones, so I am comfortable handling any canine situation! This means I am more than happy to take on any responsibility/task requested, such as administering medication, engaging in frequent or constant activity, intently monitoring an animal for an extended period of time, etc. beyond, of course, walking & relieving your best friend(s)! I will always provide dilligent and careful care of both your pets and your home.
About: I used to foster dogs. My yard is pretty big and I have a doggie door. My dogs do not mind visitors. I am off work during the summer and all major holidays. I am a teacher so I am off for the summers. When school is in session, I get off early and I am usually home before 4pm. I have a fenced in yard that can be accessed by a doggie door. I have 3 small dogs. I walk them and play with them on a regular basis. I also have 2 cats.

“This was our very first time using Rover, and as extremely overprotective dog parents, we were definitely nervous. But Brad was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He eased our minds with daily updates, complete with photos and videos that showed just how well our dog was doing! We also had a Fi tracker on his collar and it was so reassuring to see how many walks and steps he was getting. Brad took him out so often, even more than our normal routine! Our dog occasionally gets so excited that he’ll throw up if he hasn’t eaten in a while, and when it happened, Brad immediately texted us, cleaned it up, and made sure he ate and drank after. His communication was quick, calm, and thoughtful, which helped us feel totally at ease. It was clear our dog was incredibly well cared for — he got plenty of walks, playtime with his toys, and lots of attention. Honestly, he looked sad when Brad left! Brad also left our home neat and spotless, which we really appreciated. We feel like we hit the jackpot with Brad. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to take care of our fur baby, and we’d recommend him to absolutely anyone. We hope to book with him again!”

“Diane is the BEST! She loved on our fur babies in our home for a week while we were on our anniversary cruise. We had never been away on vacation together, so I was a,little nervous doing so. She stayed in our home, provided daily pup updates, lots of pictures, and eased this hooman mommas heart. She truly cares, loves and enjoys caring for your 4 legged fur kids. Hands down would highly recommend her for ALL your pet sitting needs. And my fur kids Zeus and Penelope loved her too! Which speaks volumes to me!”

We only accept more than one pet at a time if they live in the same house and we are pet free right now, so you dont have to worry about how they might get along with any other animals. About: HIGHLIGHTS: -Insured -Comfortable w/ large and small dogs and knows the different requirements in care -No kids in home -Dog kennels provided for when necessary, no need to lug yours with you -38 year old home owner w/ privacy fence in back yard -Work from home sitter -Regular updates and pictures -Has read dog psychology and taken dog training classes with my dog. I believe pets deserve respect and autonomy and I'll do my best to treat your babies like I treat my own boys. I've read a few dog psychology books so I do have a good understanding of different communication styles that dogs may have and I have experience with reactive dogs and elderly dogs as well. When I walk your dog, I have no problems communicating with strangers and setting boundaries. I am very protective of my animal clients peace and safety. I always err on the side of caution. With pets, I am gentle but firm and it creates an environment that dogs love. I love playing with dogs and engaging their minds. I also communicate with your pet to ensure they are happy (which room they prefer, how they like to be pet, how they like to be played with) and I tell them every day that you're coming back. I genuinely love each animal that I interact with and treat them how I'd want them to be treated if they were mine. I'm also punctual and communicative. My late dog was also reactive and could be aggressive, so I have experience dealing with large dogs that have strong boundaries. I work from home so I am available to stay with your pet all day long! When I do leave, it's usually never for more than 4 hours and I have a L crate and an XL crate that your babies can stay in if needed. For sitting in your home, I do bring my 6lb chihuahua. If your dog needs to be separated from small I have a large backyard with a privacy fence on all four sides. I have a 20 y/o but there is a pet gate that keeps the house in two parts. Your pet will not interact with my pet at all. Dogs have their own room and will be allowed free roam of one half of my home. It's a large space.

“Jasmine was such a blessing and truly met my needs and expectations. She took really good care of Bear while I was gone, playing ball, making sure he had his meds, and fed him each day. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for someone that LOVES animals!”

About: Hi, I'm Raina! I love caring for dogs and cats and have years of experience, including with my late dog Coco, who lived to 15. I offer pet sitting at my home with a secure, fenced-in backyard, ensuring a safe and fun environment. I take animal care seriously, providing consistent, loving, and responsible attention, including any needed medical care. You can trust that your pets will receive the same love and protection I gave to Coco, with plenty of photo updates to keep you connected. I look forward to caring for your furry family members! I am usually working from home so I will be available to care for your pets. I am available for boarding on weekends and weekdays. I have a fenced yard and a friendly cat to keep your pet company. I ensure top-notch care by carefully boarding pets that I believe will do well in my house. To provide the best experience, I would need to know your pet's daily routines, medication requirements, and any other special needs.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a kid. Most recently raising a German shepherd for the last 10 years! I love long walks with the pups and tending to their needs. My days start and end with walks, so the pup will accompany me on all of those or spend time in the backyard while I garden. I have a fence where the dog can have ample space to run around and roam free. Or they can relax inside during the hot summer days.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have helped take care of our family dogs since I was a little kid. I’ve also helped care for a few friends’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities and needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I work full time at chick fil a 5 days a week. I usually work mid shifts like 7-4, 8-5, 11-5 about 4 days a week and I always do some type of activity with my dog before I leave as well as feeding and letting him out. After I am always down to having fun with the pups! I have a fenced in backyard with one very playful, sweet pup who wants to be friends with every animal he meets! He’s very energetic so we are always going to the nearest park (which is basically right behind my house) or on a walk or playing in the yard! I also love to take the pups on a joy ride to get treats or just get some breeze!
“Ramona was a wonderful sitter for our two pups. She is extremely responsive and communicates frequently. We felt very comfortable having her in our home while we were away and our dogs fell in love with her. She sent lots of photos and videos of our pups and actively played with them in the house and our backyard. Ramona truly made sure they were cared for when we had a family emergency and had to leave the state quickly. I absolutely recommend her if you need someone trust worthy and honest!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of October 2026, there are 759 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Renault. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Renault walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Renault maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
<b>Tip:</b> Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Renault choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
