“Brandy did a great job caring for our dogs. She stayed with them the entire time we were away, which gave us real peace of mind. It was clear they were comfortable and well cared for when we returned. We truly appreciated her reliability and dedication.”

About: I started my care for animals 22 years ago in a non profit animal shelter. Since then I’ve been able to gain my experience through many different roles within the field of non profit shelter work and finally working up to a vet tech. I’ve been able to use the skills of vet tech in shelter as well as a private practice for the past 10 years. I’ve handled everything from neonates who need round the clock assistance to senior pets who need special medications/care or even I pets that are diabetic and need insulin. I’m an avid animal lover and protecter. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have a very flexible schedule so fitting in pet care is usually no issue. Whether dropping off pets in the morning or in the evening for boarding, drop ins, walks, dog/cat sitting, I will make sure scheduling is accommodating so that every pet I care for gets the proper love, care, and attention they need. 😁❤️ I care for pets the same as if they are my own. They will be let out to potty every 2-4 hours. I have dogs and cats in my household so they would need to be friendly with other pets but I’m alway good with sitting at your home as well. I will treat your home with the same respect I give my own. I can accommodate a pet that needs to be crated as well.

About: Hello! My name is Taj! I have been pet sitting for about 2 years now. I also house sit! I am currently a medical assistant and college student with a BCLS and CPR certification. I have done volunteer work at shelters and at clinics including a medical and dental program in South Korea! Can't wait to meet you! I am able to dogwalk and pet sit anytime after 430pm on weekdays. Available every weekend as well! Available before 7am! I am also willing to do overnight care with both cats and dogs! I am available on the weekends whenever you need me! I follow the rules given to me specifically! Everyone's home rules are different and I make sure to respect that! After my experiences housesitting, I notice clients have specific needs for their pets, even if that is just what time they eat their dinner!

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is the level of care, attentiveness, and protection I provide to every dog as if they were my own. I have experience working with young puppies who need patience, structure, and consistency with basic training and routines, as well as senior dogs who require gentle handling, medication management, and close monitoring. Safety is always my top priority I am highly observant on walks, mindful of surroundings, and proactive in preventing any potential risks. I understand canine body language, which helps me anticipate needs and avoid stressful situations. Whether it’s reinforcing positive behaviors, sticking to a detailed feeding schedule, or providing calm companionship for anxious pets, I create a secure and loving environment where dogs feel comfortable and protected. Owners can trust that their pets are not only cared for, but truly looked after with responsibility, awareness, and genuine affection. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially as an incoming medical student with a flexible study schedule. While my classes are structured, I have built-in breaks throughout the day that allow me to step away, reset, and give pets the attention they need. Studying also provides flexibility, since I can organize my time around walks, feeding schedules, play sessions, and check-ins. I value balance and know how important movement and fresh air are, so taking a dog out for a walk or spending time engaging with them fits seamlessly into my day. When I’m studying, pets stay in a safe, calm environment where they can relax comfortably nearby. Being in a rigorous academic program has strengthened my time management skills, responsibility, and attentiveness — qualities that directly translate into providing reliable, consistent, and safe care for every dog I look after. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. In my home, pets stay in a clean, calm, and secure environment with constant supervision, scheduled walks, and plenty of attention. I maintain consistent routines for feeding, exercise, and rest to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all provided instructions, respect the space, and keep pets on their normal schedule to ensure stability. I’m attentive to behavior changes, mindful of surroundings on walks, and proactive about preventing any safety risks, so owners can feel confident their pets are protected and well cared for.
“Diane was great and we are grateful for her. She took excellent care of our girl Ruby and communicated well providing frequent updates. We will definitely request her to watch our Ruby in the future.”

“Catelyn took the BEST care of our dog, Gus! She was so friendly, communicative, and left our house spotless. She sent 3 pup-dates :) every day and was just so great with Gus. We’re so thankful to have found Catelyn and for the peace of mind she gave us when we were out of town!”

“Gabi is an excellent sitter. She stayed at my home while I was away and followed all instructions well. She clearly has a big heart for the pups, sent me pics of Cooper often, and left everything perfectly clean at the house. I highly recommend her!”

About: HIGHLIGHTS: -Insured -Comfortable w/ large and small dogs and knows the different requirements in care -No kids in home -Would love to bring my friendly chihuahua for in-home sits -Dog kennels provided for when necessary, no need to lug yours with you -38 year old home owner w/ privacy fence in back yard -Work from home sitter -Regular updates and pictures -Has read dog psychology and taken dog training classes with my dog. I believe pets deserve respect and autonomy and I'll do my best to treat your babies like I treat my own boys. I've read a few dog psychology books so I do have a good understanding of different communication styles that dogs may have and I have experience with reactive dogs and elderly dogs as well. When I walk your dog, I have no problems communicating with strangers and setting boundaries. I am very protective of my animal clients peace and safety. I always err on the side of caution. For sitting in your home, I do bring my 6lb chihuahua. If your dog needs to be separated from small animals, I can easily accommodate that in my home. With pets, I am gentle but firm and it creates an environment that dogs love. I love playing with dogs and engaging their minds. I also communicate with your pet to ensure they are happy (which room they prefer, how they like to be pet, how they like to be played with) and I tell them every day that you're coming back. I genuinely love each animal that I interact with and treat them how I'd want them to be treated if they were mine. I'm also punctual and communicative. My late dog was also reactive and could be aggressive, so I have experience dealing with large dogs that have strong boundaries. I work from home so I am available to stay with your pet all day long! When I do leave, it's usually never for more than 4 hours and I have a L crate and an XL crate that your babies can stay in if needed. For sitting in your home, I do bring my 6lb chihuahua. If your dog needs to be separated from small animals, I can easily accommodate that in my home. Please choose the service best suited to you and your pets needs. I have a large backyard with a privacy fence on all four sides. I have a 20 y/o cat and a xxs chi puppy but there is a pet gate that keeps the house in two parts. Your pet will not interact with my pets at all (unless otherwise discussed). Dogs have their own room and will be allowed free roam of one half of my home. It's a large space.
About: Hello! I’m Melissa and my husband is Ryan. Please mention if Military for 10% discount (Active or retired) or Police/Fire Department. Thank You for your service. Please read all info below. If you have questions please reach out with them anytime! I’ll get back to you as soon as possible! 😊 ❤️ 🐾 I’m a former vet tech who’s a full time pet sitter! I love to fill my extra time caring for all types of animals. This means we can offer a high quality, family environment for your pet. A “home away from home” while you're out of town. Your dog is able to enjoy many potty breaks all day, dogs beds, snuggles, playtime and lots of cozy blankets! Rather than the all day concrete and metal cages of a vet/kennel facility! So no need to worry, your pet is going to be spoiled and pampered while you’re away! I’ll send once daily updates and pictures for your peace of mind. I focus on their care and well being rather than sending repeated updates all day and being on my phone all day. I don’t do video chats with pets as this causes confusion and upset when they can’t find you and only hear you. They don’t understand FaceTiming. I can send a video of them instead. I enjoy providing daycare, boarding and dropins for all pets large and small, feathered or furry, clawed or finned! We strive to exceed your expectations and provide an amazing experience for your beloved pet! I aim to keep everyone safe and healthy during their stay. With my background in veterinary technology I am highly qualified to look out for signs of illness, keep your pet safe and happy while you’re away so you don’t have to worry about anything! They’re in good hands! ABOUT ME: I have provided pet sitting and drop in service for over 20 years. I started watching pets for neighbors and family in high school! I also have worked as a veterinary nurse (vet tech) for over 5 years. I completed my associates degree at The Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College in 2012 to become a licensed veterinary nurse. I have boarding/kennel work experience at a veterinary clinic. So I am able to identify of your pets are having a medical emergency and get them to the vet quickly. I also can handle senior and medical needs with ease. In October 2018 I decided to become a full time stay at home mom of two incredible boys and needed a way to earn a little money to help make ends meet. Now I still stay home and pet sit while they are at school. That’s when I joined Rover to increase my reach to meet new clients who need boarding, day care and drop ins for their dogs and cats. I also do drop-ins and watch over any pocket pets, reptiles, amphibians, fish etc. Just let me know what needs done and we can come up with an affordable price for them. I have an abundance of senior dog care from work and personal experience. Our 13 year old boxer, Charlie, passed away 9/2019 and 15 year old puggle, Kodee, 09/2023. For general house and yard pictures see my photos. Please don’t knock when possible! Thank you!! Our doorbell goes off on our phones so we can hear you’re at the door. Please text, call, or ring door bell instead of knocking. We always have dogs here and it will cause a howl- sometimes waking the kids if it’s really early. But feel free to knock or call if you can’t reach us after a minute or two! Sometimes electronics fail to do their job! Thank you! 😊 Vaccines are 100% required: Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis, Bordetella. As is a negative fecal test and flea/tick prevention. Thanks for providing proof of vet care before or at your meet n greet. 😊 As Ive been asked multiple times or because it happened: *Prices may change between two different bookings * Adult dogs: spay/neuter required- if found to be still intact will be charged at the “puppy rate” for the stay. *Yes we use kennels. All dogs are kenneled at night and while eating. This is for their safety as we take multiple clients. Please make sure they are kennel trained or have RX for anxiety meds before their stay. This is for their own well being!!! I don’t enjoy seeing a dog in turmoil while kenneled because they aren’t properly trained or without a Rx for calming meds. Not to mention no one sleeps and it triggers my migraines not sleeping. *We do take multiple clients at one time. * Please don’t drop off anywhere in my front or back yard if I am not physically present to accept the dog into my care. *Please don’t knock if possible. *Military discount is 10% and is the only discount off my rates I offer because Rover keeps 20% of my earnings. You or a spouse must be the military member. No exceptions. No other family members qualify. *I provide everything except food and leash. Please keep extra belongings at home. This makes it easier on everyone. If you discuss with me ahead of time bringing extra items please remind me at pickup! Sometimes things get washed or fall to the side and forgotten. *If your dog becomes aggressive at any point during their stay, it will need to be picked up asap or taken to a vet for either calming medication rx or boarding there. As long as they remain here they will be exclusively kenneled when inside and let outside alone. No further playtime will occur afterwards. I have used a “rabies pole” in the past when needed. The 7 day cancellation policy will absolutely apply. No refund given beyond my standard Rover cancellation policy. *If you are a no call/no show to an appointment time we set then booking will be cancelled. *Kennel will be used to contain a dog if they become aggressive for any reason. Safety is my top priority. I safely separate via baby gate and/or kennel when needed if a dogs decide to stop getting along for any reason. Even if they are house mates. It is not used full time unless they are so aggressive there’s no other option. We try to separate them and allow them to walk around and move their legs, often times outside depending on weather. I try to allow them as much freedom as possible given the situation and when it is safe to do so. We do what we can to uphold the reservation so you don’t have to find alternate arrangements but sometimes that’s the only option. So always have a backup plan just in case. *We do watch multiple clients at one time. So when you come for a meeting you may see me busy with some pups at the same time. I try to have all the dogs kenneled or in the kitchen area for meet n greets, and during drop offs/pick ups to make these moments easier. If the weather is nice they’ll be outside enjoying the yard and playtime so dogs can come and go or we can talk without interruption. *One of our dogs barks quite a bit at new people coming inside, he has anxiety, so pardon his screeches and howls. We’re continually working on his training (separation and barrier anxiety). He’s just a nervous boy who prefers his family and is great being around other dogs. My other dog Tucker is protective of me and will try to gently lead men away from my personal space by their pant legs or socks. He part border collie- so he’s just herding you away from me. My dogs have also been attacked by new dogs during meetings. We just like for your dog to be able to sniff around and destress during meetings. Just like to have a “happy visit.” This improves their reaction at drop off, they are less stressed and more familiar with me and our home. Once all dogs are calm and relaxed we introduce them. If your dog is anxious a day or two they will be given time to acclimate before being introduced to the pack. So because of this, we do not intro any of our dogs to anyone during a meet n greets. This is too high of a stressor for any dog to endure. Our dogs are all reliably dog friendly and no issues with them meeting new dogs and making friends when we handle introducing them in this manner. We just do intros ourselves after drop off. Meetings are mostly designed for you to meet me and ask questions. I get a lot of info I need by messaging, on their profile, and seeing them interact with me and family during our meet n greet. We just like to make sure overnight they will be ok kenneled and not crying or overtly anxious. This is to protect their health and well being so you can get an rx if needed prior because we do kennel at night, meals and during meetings. Otherwise they are out n about with me during the day. I’m a full time stay at home mom of two boys 6&8 yr old. We have two dogs, two cats and a bunny. My husband, Ryan, works from the home office full time also. So someone is almost always home. We stay busy and love having dogs to play with and love on! We have dogs almost always coming, going, and staying sometimes months at a time. More than 50% of clients return for care in the future. So we must be doing something right! We do watch multiple clients at one time. So when you come for a meeting you may see me busy working at the same time. I usually have the dogs kenneled for drop offs/pick ups or if the weather is nice they’ll be outside enjoying the yard and playtime so dogs can come and go and we can talk. We’re extra careful to monitor the weather and often sitting outback on the deck with the pups. One of our dogs barks quite a bit at new people and is barrier reactive and nervous meeting most new people due to his anxiety - so pardon his screeches and howls. We’re working on his training. He’s a nervous boy who just loves his family and is great being around dogs. So we will not intro any of our dogs to anyone during a meeting. Our dogs are reliably dog friendly and no issues with them meeting and making friends. This is all done after drop off. Meetings are mostly designed for you to meet me and ask questions. I get most of the info I need by messaging, on their profile, and seeing them interact during a meet n greet. We just like to make sure overnight they will be ok kenneled and not crying or anxious. This is to protect their health and well being so you can get an rx if needed prior because we do kennel at night, meals and during meetings. We provide everything except food and leash! Including: bowls, kennel, bedding, toys, and treats. I send once daily updates with pictures. I do get busy letting them in-out, making food, playing, cuddling, house cleaning/chores, etc so feel free to message if you want another update or it’s been a busy day and maybe a while since my last message. I am just busy making sure they are happy and well cared for! We have soft beds and blankets for them to use. Toys galore. Roam of the living room/dining room/kitchen. Not the bedrooms and office as our cats get that space when they need to get away from the dogs! The basement is for the kids toys and we have some kennels in the living room downstairs. But it’s just not full time access. I keep them upstairs where we can see them and make sure everyone is getting along. We let our own dogs out every few hours because they love to run the big, privacy fenced yard all the time. We only kennel when they eat, bed time at night, or if we have to leave. After they eat they take a nap in the kennel about 30 minutes to rest their bellies so no one pukes or gets a flipped stomach. Usually it’s after morning playtime and outside potty breaks so they’re ready for food and naps. We gate off the kitchen/dining room so that no one can get human food while cooking or eating. Better safe than sorry! Don’t want any diarrhea or vomiting from eating people food.
“Meredith was a good match for my animals! She was on time and responsive. Since my cat has some medical concerns, it eased my mind having someone with experience look over him!”
“Ramona was a wonderful sitter for our two pups. She is extremely responsive and communicates frequently. We felt very comfortable having her in our home while we were away and our dogs fell in love with her. She sent lots of photos and videos of our pups and actively played with them in the house and our backyard. Ramona truly made sure they were cared for when we had a family emergency and had to leave the state quickly. I absolutely recommend her if you need someone trust worthy and honest!”

About: I have had and taken care of pets my entire life. Everything from dogs and cats and fish, all the way to ferrets! I now though, have 5 years (and counting) of professional experience in the dog world, 3 of those years also I including providing care to cats as well as birds, lizards, guinea pigs and more! I worked at a Daycare, Boarding and Training facility for dogs for those first 2 years, and it helped me grow my skills exponentially! It's also allowed me to really strengthen my understanding of dogs, their behavior, body language and how to help them be successful and happy in their day to day lives. My following 3 years was with an in-home pet care company where I provided more individualized care and expanded my skill set with medications, senior care and special needs. I saw and worked with the whole spectrum of ages, breeds and temperaments. I have experience with administering oral, topical, injectable and inhaler medications, basic grooming services and working through anxious behaviors. I also have a very special soft spot for the high energy breeds! I am very flexible, dedicated, caring and I understand the importance of communication. My weekday schedule is typically fairly open and flexible from early morning to late evening pending other services booked, weekends tend to be busier so the earlier notice the better! I treat every pet I meet as if they were my own, keeping their safety and well being the first priority! Your home is their safe space, so that means making sure it is always secure and comfortable.
