“This was our first time using Rover but also having someone other then a family member watch our 2 dachshunds. They can be picky on who they let into there circle and they had no issue warming up to Kelly right away! We were very nervous but Kelly was so calm and made us at ease while we were out of town. I can’t not say enough good things about her! I wish I could explain how much a relief we got knowing our babies were comfortable with Kelly and were taking such good care of! (Our dachshunds are our everything!) We will 1000000% be using Kelly in the future! She was amazing!!!!!”

“I am a licensed veterinary technician who needs a confident sitter who can administer sub q fluids to my elderly cat who is going through renal failure. After coaching numerous pet parents in my field on administrating sub q fluids many of them lack the confidence to do so and return to the hospital to have me give their pets fluids. Let me say, I am very impressed with April and her confidence level. My cat immediately felt she knew her stuff and he settled down nicely and relaxed for the fluid therapy. Cats are not easy, but April makes my cat feel comfortable and she does it like a pro. I feel very confident leaving my Sylvester as well as my other cats in her hands while I’m out of town. She is also on time, very reliable, and real animal loverI am very pleased and grateful to have found April on Rover!”

“My regular pet sitter was no longer able to come watch my cat so shortly before I was going to leave town and luckily Theresa was able to help me out!! It means the world to me to know my fur baby was taken great care of!🥹”

“Absolutely wonderful with my girls! One of very few people who my kitties will actively come say hi to when she takes care of them. Usually they hide, but they come right out for her! Thank you so much for caring for my babies!”

About: 20+ years of pet care experience. In high school and college I worked as a vet tech, and at a boarding/daycare/grooming facility. I have also worked with livestock at numerous farms and horse boarding facilities. I now have 1 dog, 3 cats, and a horse of my own. I love building relationships with pets (those that want it) or giving space (for the more nervous and anxious ones). I pride myself on being able to accurately read each pet and knowing what they need. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule which makes pet sitting amazing! I am able to watch pets while you're away and keep them on whatever schedule best works for them. I'm also available for mid-day let-outs and walks! I make sure each pet is comfortable around me. If they are happy, energetic pets- I make sure to help them get their energy out so they look forward to seeing me! If they're more reserved and nervous, I make sure to go slow so they do not see me as a threat and I do not try and cloud their space, while also reassuring them I am a safe person.

About: I have lived with large dogs all my life. I now have lived on a farm for a little over 11 years raising cows, pigs, and a horse. I am currently in the police academy that is Monday- through 7an-4pm meaning that I have my whole evenings and weekends free to be able to take care of the four legged beast friends I like to make sure that the pet that I’m looking after is either next to me or at least within eye site of me.

About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

“Stella was an awesome pet sitter. She was very responsible and took care of everything I asked her to do for my two sweet kitties. I had never used a pet sitter, so I was pretty apprehensive, but the experience was 100% great. I highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, with my family having large dogs (60-120lbs) since I was born! I have experience watching smaller dogs as well, and all puppies from actual puppies to the wisest and oldest dogs. I LOVE going on walks and running, so don’t you worry about your pup getting tired out! I am a part-time worker who doesn’t mind mornings, so I am happy to work your loved one into my schedule to make sure they get the best care they can! When home, my two dogs and cats are indoor-outdoor, energetic, and crate-trained, so I have experience with walking/running pets, fenced in yards, and crate training! I would love to meet your pet with you if able to ensure that we’re a good fit and that you are able to meet and trust me as your sitter!

About: I love pets! I’ve owned three cats and one dog of my own. Your fur babies will be treated as if they were my own! I’m a stay at home mom with plenty of free time to give to your pets! My baby and I love walks and would love to add your dog on our journey! I can help with feedings, letting your dog out to use the bathroom, and can take them on walks! For the cat parents I can help with feedings and if on a trip or gone for a while, I can help upkeep the litter box.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life and I’m very used to the responsibility that comes with caring for them. I can take on any size or personality! I’m currently still in school so I am only available weekends and some late afternoons. Once school is over I’m available all summer as needed. I am currently not providing at home services just for the safety of my dogs and yours. But I am willing to go to a home and pet sit there no problem. I even have a dog seat belt in my car if transportation be needed!

About: I’ve been caring for animals ever since I was around 8 years old and I have had almost any pet you could imagine! I have two years of experience with working with dogs in a physical dog daycare and tons more independent experience as I own 3 dogs and I even bottle raised one of my pups. I’m free essentially every afternoon as well as all days on Tuesdays and Saturdays to provide your pets with any care needed! I would love to give your fur babies the absolute best care. I have 3 dogs of various sizes and temperaments that would love to play with your pups and become BFF’S. I also have multiple areas to keep pups separated and an outdoor area so your pup can lay in all the sun they could dream of.

About: My name is Emily and I would like to help you with your pet in anyway I can. Services including taking them on a walk or jog, house sitting, coming in for a hour or two to make sure they are fed and doing well or whatever else you may need assistance with. I have personally had pets around me my whole life. Since a young age I have always been interested in animals and making them my new friend. My most happiest moments were playing and cuddling with dogs and cats. I know how to walk, bathe, feed, and play with animals but to be honest I do not really have any special skills but I do hope I can care and make your pet as happy as they make me feel.
