We met with her prior to our trip so Twinkle would be comfortable with her and her family as well as the house. When we dropped her she felt right at home. Jessie sent us updates and many pictures of Twinkle during her stay and we knew she was getting all the love and care she needed. Twinkle had a tumor removed a couple weeks before our trip and Jessie even did us the favor of talking her to the vet to get her bandage changed and took good care of her foot. Twinkle was so happy there that when I went to pick her up she was in no hurry to go home and went back to her bed! Your dog will be very happy in Jessie’s care. She also only takes a max of 2 dogs so your dog will be getting all the needed attention. We will definitely have Jessie watch Twinkle on our next trip or when we leave for a long day! About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. About: I’ve taken care of many animals on my family’s small farm including three dogs, chickens, a pig, sheep, and bees! I’ve always loved dogs and got my first dog before I can remember. Two of our family dogs are hyper cattle dogs that have required lots of training, so I’m no stranger to the zoomies! Rosie even won the heart Stacie’s daughter and was cuddling on the couch with her, so needless to say, Rosie was shown a lot of love and attention during her time with Stacie! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone and will definitely be asking Stacie to watch Rosie and our other dog, Duke, in the future! :)”
