About: 20+ years of pet care experience. In high school and college I worked as a vet tech, and at a boarding/daycare/grooming facility. I have also worked with livestock at numerous farms and horse boarding facilities. I now have 1 dog, 3 cats, and a horse of my own. I love building relationships with pets (those that want it) or giving space (for the more nervous and anxious ones). I pride myself on being able to accurately read each pet and knowing what they need. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule which makes pet sitting amazing! I am able to watch pets while you're away and keep them on whatever schedule best works for them. I'm also available for mid-day let-outs and walks! I make sure each pet is comfortable around me. If they are happy, energetic pets- I make sure to help them get their energy out so they look forward to seeing me! If they're more reserved and nervous, I make sure to go slow so they do not see me as a threat and I do not try and cloud their space, while also reassuring them I am a safe person.

She ensured to make them as comfortable as possible through the day and I truly appreciate her level of care. About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was younger, cleaning the litter box once a day every day. I deep clean it with a hose, and dawn dish soap once a month and refill it with new litter. I spend about an hour playing with them or until they get bored. Cats are by far my favorite animal and I love them dearly. I also tend to feed the strays around my house.

About: In our home your dog will receive a lot of love from our family and companionship from our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog. They are both 3 years old. We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. About: I've had dogs for 17 years. I love all pets! I treat dog sitting dogs as if they are my own. I have 1 dog of my own who loves when we have visitors. I have had many repeat customers, and I miss them when they leave. I work from home, have a doggie door and a fenced in yard. I take the dogs out regularly for play and potty breaks. About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.
“Kiley was good with communicating with me and was sweet with my dog, however, I booked a 30-minute walk and my dog was only walked for about 20 minutes, with the total visit lasting around 23 minutes. I expected to receive the full time I booked and paid for. She also brought her daughter without discussing it with me beforehand. Thankfully, my dog loves children, so it wasn't an issue for us, but I do think this is something that should be approved by the pet owner in advance.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs of all sizes for the past several years for family, friends and other neighbors. I have the most experience with small/medium dogs but have occasional experience with larger dogs. I'm currently a full time teacher so I would be available after school August-May and any time through June to the beginning of August. About: I have two dog of my own, a cat and any farm animals. I’ve handle animals age ranging from 15+ to freshly born. I’ve also taken care of canines with different medical conditions (cancer, diabetes, etc). My eldest pup currently has stage 2 kidney diseases I’m a stay at home mom. I do put my 3/4 of my kiddos on the bus and have to been home to get them off. The youngest is with me. I have 5 areas, my eldest pup is leash only. We go on long walks in the woods all the time. My youngest pup is very well trained, we take him just about everywhere when we have the chance.

“Erica was so great, I’m solo pet owner and had plans at the last minute, she was so great with Marvel on first visit and my accommodation for extra day. He is smaller so he takes a few minutes to observe before playing with big dogs, but once he gets started he loves play dates all sizes”

About: 20+ years of pet care experience. In high school and college I worked as a vet tech, and at a boarding/daycare/grooming facility. I have also worked with livestock at numerous farms and horse boarding facilities. I now have 1 dog, 3 cats, and a horse of my own. I love building relationships with pets (those that want it) or giving space (for the more nervous and anxious ones). I pride myself on being able to accurately read each pet and knowing what they need. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule which makes pet sitting amazing! I am able to watch pets while you're away and keep them on whatever schedule best works for them. I'm also available for mid-day let-outs and walks! I make sure each pet is comfortable around me. If they are happy, energetic pets- I make sure to help them get their energy out so they look forward to seeing me! If they're more reserved and nervous, I make sure to go slow so they do not see me as a threat and I do not try and cloud their space, while also reassuring them I am a safe person.
“Lisa is a terrific Rover. She took care of our two girls a German Shepard and a senior Chihuahua. Lisa communicated with us daily and our dogs were able to have fun adventures making sure they were happy, safe and healthy. We hope to use Lisa for all our pet sitting needs. About: We’ve always had dogs, so naturally that love grew! Ive always loved walking and running. Put them together and that’s a dream job! Dog walker! I work in the mornings and have free afternoons and weekends! I have the option to work from home if needed to be more available! We have many, many walking trails and we love to walk! I am comfortable walking all size dogs. I am not afraid of picking up poop!

“I have to be very picky when choosing sitters as one pup has separation anxiety and will not stay with just anyone. I have had many issues with past sitters being dishonest and not following my guidance but I HIGHLY recommend Tanine!!! I have two very high energy pups (golden doodle and lab). She kept me updated, good and bad, and made sure to give my pup his meds with enough time for them to be effective prior to crating. She ensured to make them as comfortable as possible through the day and I truly appreciate her level of care. I specifically chose her due to the training background and I am so glad I followed through though there were not many reviews. I did not have to ask for pictures or updates throughout. She has small children that seem to love dogs so I know my pups received comfort as they love children. She is a gem! To have the patience and be willing to work with us through his anxiety is not something you find in all Rover sitters. Glad to have finally found a permanent option!”
