About: I've taken care of sick dogs, dogs on diets, and dogs that are used to a routine, but am able to take care of any situation. I love to be around animals and will happily make sure your dogs are kept safe and happy. I work Full-time Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday from 8:30 - 4:30 and Wed from 11 -7. I am happy to come "home" each day after work to your home and stay during the workweek, I just will not be able to be with them until after work during the week. I am fully available on most weekends, so just let me know what works! For the dogs I have taken care of before, I always walk with leashes, even for well trained dogs, I will be new to them. I always pick up after dogs on walks. I have owned cats and dogs all my life, and am very comfortable with any dog or cat. I will keep doors locked when inside and of course when leaving the house.

About: I have had pets all my life. Right now I have a rescue dog from China and another dog I just adopted from the culpeper shelter! I have 2 cats as well. One of my cats is a tripod therefore needs extra attention. The other cat is an orange boy so you know he’s a handful. I am in between jobs so I have plenty of time watch your pup! My husband also works from home 2 days a week. NO CHILDREN in the home. I have a very large quiet yard to let your dog out to play (fenced in) . I have room to set up crates and food stations. Must be friendly towards other dogs and ok with being crated during bedtime.

With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. Before moving back to Northern Virginia in 2023, I also owned a successful pet-sitting business in St. Croix, USVI. My own pets have taught me a lot as well—my pit mix, Bella, survived both a fighting-breed environment and Hurricane Maria, and my two rescue bassets struggled with separation anxiety, as well as our Moluccan cockatoo we raised from a nestling. Those experiences reinforced the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I’m a non-smoker, organized, and detail-oriented. I’m also available for last-minute needs and those holiday plans that sometimes run longer than expected.
