“Ashley is the best. My dog unexpected needed some extra TLC for minor medical issue. Ashley was extremely helpful and concerned. It all turned out well. Thank you, Ashley!”

“Ainura was absolutely amazing! I had to find a sitter for my new puppy on very short notice and she responded super fast and accepted the job. It was my first time using the Rover app and I’m so grateful it worked out so well. She took incredible care of little Khaleesi and sent loads of photos showing her playing and having a great time for the week. I’m definitely reaching out to Ainura next time I need a sitter :)”

“Our dog Loki loved spending the weekend with Debbie and Chuck! They were very accommodating and responsive, and Loki had a great time playing with their pups! He came home tired and content! We're thankful that he was treated like part of their family!”

“I can’t say enough about Kathy. My 2 dogs are everything to me. They are picky eaters. I cook for them. Kathy had no problem doing the meal prep that I do at home. She also has no dogs, which I believe put my guys at easy. They ate great, which is very unusual. With new people and surroundings, they normally refuse any food. I’m so happy I found Kathy. Her calm, soft demeanour, put me at ease. If you board your dog with Kathy, you will be completely happy.”

“Scott was the perfect sitter for my dog. The 1:1 attention was exactly what Willy needed. Willy is often nervous of strangers, but when he first met Scott, I could see Willy responded very well to him. I could tell that Willy had almost zero stress during his stay, especially compared to when he has to go to boarding.”

“Onyx had the best time with Taylor and Brian and their sweet dog Shiloh! He typically lives in an apartment so he was thrilled to have access to a fenced in yard. Taylor and Brian were very kind to accommodate a last-minute extra night’s stay after our travel plans home went awry. They were very sweet and understanding.”

“Teah & Eric were amazing!!! This was the first time my dogs have stayed outside of their home. Teah & Eric were great at calming them and making them feel welcome. I will choose them every time if I have the chance!”

“Danielle and Jathan were absolutely wonderful. They have taken such good care of our babies while we were away. They sent pictures multiple times a day, took them on walks and shared hours of cuddles. Our babies had the best weekend get away. We would highly reccomend them as sitters!!”

“Per usual, Scotty was wonderful with Lexi. I would recommend him to anyone who wants great attention to their pet while away. I don't think she wanted to leave!:)”

About: Hi there! I grew up with lots of pets and have cared for dogs for most of my life. As a child, my family had all kinds of dogs - including a beagle, Siberian husky, Australian shepherd mix, yellow lab, and peekapoo. Some of my favorite childhood memories include days spent exploring or hiking with our dogs. I love their companionship, intelligence, and getting to know their unique personalities. I can’t imagine life without our dogs! Currently, my husband and I have two rescue pups - a Samoyed and Pomsky, who are playful, fun, and always up for an adventure. We have a special love for arctic dogs, in particular, ever since our first Samoyed mix followed us home as a stray 15+ years ago. Now, we have two children who also adore dogs. I love watching my kids learn and grow as they care for animals. In addition to our dogs, we also have 2 outdoor rabbits (in a separate, secure location), and one outdoor cat who mostly sunbathes in our driveway. Our home would be a good fit for dogs who thrive in an active and playful household, and who would enjoy children and making some new dog friends. Our home has dog toys, comfy beds and couches, and lots of room to play. We strive to ensure our dogs are mentally engaged and active, and guarantee that your dog will enjoy at least one daily walk and ample outdoor playtime. If comfortable, your dog can also join us on family outings to parks, playgrounds, and hiking trails. I am happy to work with your dog on basic training commands. I can also bathe them, or bring them to any grooming appointment that might be helpful to schedule while you are away. Our children also like to make “pupsicles” - frozen dog treats - which your dog can absolutely enjoy, if desired. I truly appreciate how hard it is to be away from your dog. They are family. As a responsible, caring dog (and human!) mom, I will do everything possible to get to know your beloved dog, and to help them feel safe and loved in our home. Your dog will be lovingly cared for alongside my own two dogs and children. I am a stay-at-home mom with a fairly flexible schedule, and I guarantee that your dog will enjoy lots of hours of companionship with my family at home. Before your dog’s stay, I will learn all about their routines and preferences for feeding, activity, and rest. I skillfully manage schedules and routines for my own kids and pets - and I am committed to maintaining them for your dog as well. If your dog would enjoy it, they can absolutely be included in our various family outings - such as visiting parks or hiking trails. Your dog will join a safe and loving family home environment. When your dog arrives for their stay, I will attach my own custom dog tag to their collar - with my contact information - for an extra added layer of safety. Our own dogs also wear GPS collars as a precaution, and we’re happy to provide one for your dog’s stay as well. Our secure, fenced backyard offers ample room for dogs to run and play. For your dog’s safety, he/she will need to be comfortable staying in a crate when we leave the house. I also turn on music for our dogs when we leave, and can continue to do so if this would feel soothing for yours. We can discuss and accommodate whatever sleeping arrangement would feel most easeful for your dog. Your dog will always have access to fresh water and frequent potty breaks. I will feed them according to your schedule, and can offer either my own treats or ones that you provide. I can give pills or medication to your dog, but am not trained to do injections. I always wonder how my dogs are doing when we have to be away, and I appreciate how comforting it is to receive updates. If this is something you’d also like, I am happy to send regular photos and updates about your dog.

“Kayla was absolutely wonderful! She took the best care of my pittie mix. Her own dog was so sweet and got along great with mine, and provided constant companionship. I received lots of updates and adorable pictures. You can tell Mabel was very happy and comfortable there.”

“Kenny took wonderful care of our pup over the weekend. She was well taken care of and got tons of attention, and he followed her routines closely. They had so much fun together even in rainy weather.”

“Donna couldn’t have been a better sitter for Kali while we were gone. Her home was the perfect space for our dog and she sent updates almost daily of how much our pup was enjoying her stay.”

“This family was so great for my pup! Their communication was great, sent a lot of pictures and they were flexible with my delayed flight. My pup really enjoyed playing with the young kids and other dogs. Will definitely use them again!”

“Tonya and Murphy make my fur baby, Bourbon, feel right at home. I have complete peace of mind when I leave him with them. Bourbon has stayed with them multiple times, and I will not hesitate to have Tonya watch him again in the future.”

“Paula was great at keeping Heisman active and comfortable. She kept us updated with pictures and descriptions of each day. He was treated to many walks and ball-chasing sessions. I didn’t spend any time worrying because I could tell Paula and Her husband, Thom, were dog people, and that they loved having him. She was very thorough in our first meeting and took notes on everything. It was a relief knowing Heisman was in their hands during our absence. And the property is a dog’s paradise.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my entire life! I started walking dogs around my neighborhood when I was a kid (a Rottweiler named Bear was my main client right after school), and I would dog/cat sit for several other neighbors. My childhood dog Lady was my responsibility and I cared for her as well as helping with my parents now senior dog Gunter and cat Bella. Now I regularly pet sit for my friends and family, hosting pets for a week or spending a holiday weekend at their house with the pets while they’re gone. I only take care of one family’s pets at a time and have no pets or children in my house, just me and my fiancé, so your pets will receive my full attention. I’m looking forward to hosting your pets at my house 😊 I work from home full time so I have plenty of time to care for a dog or cat during the day. Taking breaks to go for walks are very refreshing. I take care of dogs for week long stretches and it really brings my energy up having that companion around to lighten up the day! I care for pets as if they were my own. Pets are family and should be treated with love and attention. I let dogs and cats on the furniture and in the bed if I’m comfortable with them. If you prefer, I will follow crate rules as instructed. If your dog does require a more firm presence when it comes to training or walking style I am happy to work with you on your dog’s specific needs. I only host one family’s pets at a time so your dog or cat will have personalized care.

“Their family was wonderful and very caring for my dog Tundra! I give them an excellent rating, their home was inviting & loving towards my dog. They sent photos & kept me up to date. Thank you to them for their hospitality!”

“Bradley was amazing with Chinook and Apache! They had a great time during their stay—Bradley kept me updated with plenty of pictures, and the boys looked so happy when I picked them up. Now they’re both passed out asleep at home, which tells me they had a fun and active time! I’ll definitely be booking with Bradley again. Highly recommend!”

Christopher C.
“Chris has watched my parents dog Maggie in his home 3+ times now - I’m writing a review on their behalf because they are on the older side and are not hip to apps. Maggie is a 2 year old lab mix and is very active. Chris always takes the time to play with her and take her on long walks. She is a picky eater and he takes the time to coax her into eating when she’s being finicky. During one of the weeks she was with him, she was on an oral medication and there were no issues. Maggie looks forward to her visits with Chris!”
