“Melanie is the absolute sweetest and will treat your pet as if it were her own. Whenever I would need to be out of town for work for the weekend, she would take care of my dog and even send my photos on how he was doing. She actively plays with him too so he is able to expend more energy. For reference, I have a 75 pound golden retriever who has a lot of energy and afterwards, he'd be sleeping like a baby.”

“Sydni cared for our pets for the last two years whenever we went out of town. She would stay at our home to take care of our dog and cat. She was reliable and genuinely loves animals. Our home was always neat and tidy when we would get back. Our animals were well taken care of and loved. Sydni is also able to administer medicine, including subq fluids, if needed. While we are so proud and happy for her new college adventures, we are bummed that she has moved away from us!”

About: I grew up on a farm in rural north Florida caring for a wide range of animals including our working dogs and house pets. I moved to the city to pursue a degree in engineering, and found myself missing my pets from home. Fur babies are a blessing and I’d love to help care for yours! Right now I am a full-time student athlete. I play softball for the University of Texas at San Antonio (go runners!) so I am out of the house during the mornings. Afternoons and nights, however, are the best times for me to be able to spend time with pets and give them my full attention. My apartment complex is gated and requires pets in the common areas to be leashed ensuring the safety of everyone. We have various grassy areas for potty time and I have a pet-safe balcony for some fresh air. I do require clients to provide crates for their babies out of an abundance of caution. Crates provide a safe space for shy pets and ensures their safety when I can’t provide direct supervision. Being in a new home can introduce all kinds of new emotions, and having a crate for them is like having a little piece of home! Don’t fret if your fur-baby isn’t an angel in the crate, I have extensive crate training experience and am more than willing to work with your pet if they are unsure!

“Kalie- Did a great job! We normally have a family member or friend, watch over our dogs, parakeets and chinchillas, when we’re away. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous having someone, I didn’t know, to come into our house and take care of them. What I needed was for Kalie to do, twice a day drop by visits. Our dogs are older and I didn’t want to stress them out by taking them to a boarder. All of our pets, are important parts of our family, and they all needed attention during our time away. Kalie did exactly what we needed her to do and more!”

“Lori loves pets! I own 3 dogs, 1 cat, and a turtle. Lori has interacted with each one with love and care. Ryno is a 90 pound lab and Lori was able to handle his over active energy with laughter and enjoyment. Dexter and Gracie matches Ryno's energy, even if their weight is half as much as his, Lori still treated all my fur babies the same. Pickles, my shy kitty, has shown so much interest in Lori's company as though they've been friends since the beginning. Well, a turtle is easy but Lori love for animals, he was never left out. Lori has been a huge help when she's watched my kids when I travel, would not honestly trust anyone else!”

About: I have a special soft spot for shy/anxious kitties as my own cat is very skittish around new people and loud noises! I know how important it is for these cats to form a relationship with someone before they feel like they can trust them, especially during times when their family is away, and I would love to be that person for your pet. 💖 I also love dogs, reptiles, and amphibians, and I’m always interested in learning more about other pets such as birds, fish, rabbits, rats, ferrets, and more! As long as you provide me with specific instruction for a pet I haven’t taken care of before, I’m open minded and excited to learn how to meet their needs! I work remotely from 9-5, so I’m available to petsit from anywhere as long as I can connect to wifi! I‘m happy to either drop by for visits during the day or stay overnight depending on what option works best for you and your pets. Travel is often really stressful for pets, so when I petsit I always do my best to maintain as much of their normal routine as I can, including daily playtimes, feeding times, grooming, and cuddle time. If you tell me the spot you like to sit on the couch when snuggling with your cat or dog, you can bet I’ll make sure to sit in that exact same spot when I’m there!
