Hi, I’m Skye! I have a degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and currently work as an Animal Welfare Specialist at SeaWorld, where I care for and train dolphins. My love for animals started when I was young, clicker-training my family cat and spending time around pets of all kinds. Since then, I’ve worked in dog daycare and boarding, and completed an internship working hands-on with dolphins, sea lions, and tropical birds. Whether it’s a house pet or a marine mammal, I’m passionate about using positive reinforcement to build trust, encourage learning, and support each animal’s well-being.

When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and confident while you’re away. With my background in animal training and behavior, I’m attentive to each pet’s body language and needs, helping them feel calm and secure. I stick to their normal routines—meals, walks, playtime, and snuggles—to maintain consistency and trust. I always double-check doors, leashes, and feeding details to ensure everything runs smoothly. Every visit is filled with care, patience, and positive reinforcement, so your pets feel truly at ease.

Skyler is an amazing dog sitter! She makes sure my babies are fed, cared for, and when one of my moody babies is not in the mood she shows TLC and they remember who their caring dog sitter is. Not only is she amazing dog sitter but she’s trustworthy and reliable. I know I can trust her with my babies and treat my home with respect.

Can not say enough🫂I was concern leaving fur babies but after meeting and getting daily updates I was over joyed!!! I will definitely re book in the future. Very attentive to my fur babies needs🙂
Leaving our cats is never easy, especially for an extended trip, but Skylar completely put our minds at ease. Tina and James were clearly very well cared for, comfortable, and loved while we were away. Skylar was thoughtful, dependable, and made the effort to ensure they felt safe and happy in their own home. Coming back to relaxed, content kitties was the biggest reassurance we could ask for. We are so thankful for her care and would not hesitate to book her again. ❤️

Schedule
Here’s when I can help out! I work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule! I’m available in the early mornings (6–8 AM) to help your pets start their day with some love, breakfast, and attention. In the evenings (7–10 PM), I can stop by again for dinner, playtime, and cuddles to make sure they end their day happy and cared for. Your pets will always be in kind, caring hands with me!
