About: Pet care is my life. It is what I have done since before I can remember and I LOVE it. I have many years experience working at veterinary practices so I am comfortable giving medications as directed. Past experience supervising doggy day care/play groups. I also have experience working with positive dog trainers who helped me care for my high energy rescue dog. I talk to my own dogs like humans otherwise they freeze and cower so if any corrections are necessary I just use an “uh uh” or a “no” but no yelling or loud noises. If your pet responds to anything specific, just let me know and I will do my best to replicate the routine they have at their own home. I really try to make it as stress free as possible. I am a stay at home mom so I have a lot of extra time to spend with your pets! I have my human children part time so if your pets aren’t comfortable with children just ask me for more info on that schedule! I don’t have a fenced yard but I do have a 10x10 dog run if that makes you more comfortable. We use it for our dogs sunbathing. I spent every day meeting new animals and making them comfortable in my care when I’m grooming so that comes easy to me. I have hands on training because of my job and can recognize any concerning/critical signs of stress to keep your pet safe and happy! I go walking with my own animals so yours can tag along as long as you’re comfortable. I have an appropriately sized vehicle for any transporting if we field trip together, whether that includes a crate or a seatbelt compatible harness. (I also have pet car seats). I live next to a church that we use to play ball and I have a small dog pool that I keep in my yard for drinking or cooling off. I allow pets on my furniture and in my bed so as long as I’m not breaking any of your own house rules, your animals are included! I have a giant sized crate that is set up permanently so if your pet is crate trained I can provide that per your instruction. I don’t leave home for long periods of time (mostly just errands) so we naturally take potty breaks every 2 hours or so as well as before I leave and after I get home if I have to go anywhere.
