About: My name is Monica. I have taken care of pets for over 29 years. I currently have 3 cats both neutered. One is a senior 15 yrs old, then there is 7 yrs and 1 yr. They keep to themselves. Over the years many dogs and cats have came and went each showing their individuality. Each pet has a need which will be met according to your standards. If you book me for a Board or even a day stay I promise to have you and your furry friend 100% satisfied. I can also walk them, and do drop bys. Your pet will always have someone around in my home(if they like children). It can be hard to find someone as trustworthy as it is for me. They are just as much children and finding the right person takes time. I'm willing to show I am trustworthy And will treat them as my own. I have 3 floors,so if any pets I care for needs personal space I can accommodate. We also have a spare room where they can relax. Due to health I can only take dogs up to 18 lbs. Please note my drop-off and pickup fee is for within a 15 mile radius. If you need pickup outside that range higher fees apply. I'm a stay at home mom who works from home. I am flexible. Other then appointments and cooking. I'm usually available during the week and most weekends. My house has unfenced yard I have 2 floors,so if any pets I care for needs personal space I can accommodate. We also have a spare room where they can relax.

âVeronica is just wonderful with Kipper. The family is wonderful and Kipper is very happy there. I am so thankful that they joined Rover.com when they moved into the area.â
âAwesome!!! Dasher made a new best friend! On our second day, he was wagging his tail and super excited as we drove up her driveway. He had a second home. She kept in touch with me throughout the two days, and sent me the cutest pictures of him. He truly loves her. We were able to enjoy our time at Wolf Lodge without any worries about our baby. Thank you!!! xoxoâ

âWhat a gift! Very organized and very knowledgeable. She eased my fears with her constant videos. Excellent communicator and responds almost immediately. You can immediately tell that she has been working with pets and pet owners for a while. My dog was scard at first...by day 2...her tail was wagging high in the air and I knew she was ok. When we got home...she was the same bubbly dog I knew. Highly recommendâ

About: Iâve been around dogs and animals in general since a young age, with my grandpa running a small farm. Iâve grown up around breeds like German Shepherds, and have always taken care of friendsâ dogs while they were in vacation. I learned a lot from my fiancĂŠ, who ran a successful dog walking business in New York City Give yourself peace of mind, your dog is in safe, loving, caring hands. Iâm currently working from home with a special schedule which I take advantage of as it frees up a lot of time during the day. Pet care fits into it quite easily, as I have a daily routine I follow which includes dog walks, time with the dogs outside and of course feedings (and tending medicine when needed). I have a home situated on a quiet, secluded private lot that backs up onto a river with several trails within a short walking distance. The yard is secluded, well shaded and has ample space. I take care to be active with the dogs, so I usually toss frisbees or play fetch several times a day to keep them content. I walk my dogs twice around the neighborhood. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the ownerâs consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. I have two modes of transport for dogs, both of which offer plenty of space, safety and comfort for the dogs while en route.
âI am very happy with the care that Cuddles received. Astrid was very attentive to Cuddles and followed my instructions. I could tell that Cuddles was very comfortable there!â

âDawn has been great! She was a great find for my Tahoe... I appreciate how she engages with my little girl, as well as sends numerous photos throughout the day. I have used more than a few "Rover Mom's" across the country...I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Dawn. Thank you...â

âThis was Nola's first visit with Jennifer. Certainly won't be her last. Multiple walks and snackies. She came home tired but happy. Thanks for taking such good care of our girlâ

About: As a nature-loving Poconos local, I bring a mix of deep care and joyful energy to every walk. I was the proud mama of a small dog who lived to be 15â she my best friend and like a child to meâso I understand the depth of love, trust, and nuance that comes with caring for a beloved fur baby. Whether your pup is sprightly or senior, playful or shy, I tune into their personality and pace. I offer more than just careâI offer connection, trust, and peace of mind. I work from home full-time, which gives me the flexibility to offer consistent, reliable walks throughout the day. Iâm happy to communicate updates, photos, or notes so you always feel connected and confident. Your dogâs safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I bring a calm, attentive presence to every walk, always keeping a close eye on surroundings, leash safety, and your fur babyâs well-being. With years of experience as a devoted dog mama, I understand how to build trustâthrough consistency, gentle communication, and honoring each dogâs unique needs.
About: Since pre-teen, I grew up with dogs mostly as my parents had several dogs in the house. I love to care for dogs and make sure theyâre happy and loved. Before Rover, Iâve walked and looked after neighborsâ dogs and owners have confided in me to care for them while they are away (i.e., family vacations, business trips, etcâŚ). Currently my job is fully remote and I can mainly dog-sit during the day on a weekly basis. During the weekends, I can board, house sit and help in any way that I can with advance notice. My apartment is pet friendly and it is safe environment for dogs of any type. Apartment has easy dog access and Center City neighborhood is very safe. I live in between Rittenhouse Square Park and Washington Square park (~5mins walk).

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Reeders
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 334 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Reeders. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Reeders commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 334 sitters in Reeders, 91% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
