“Jada has been nothing short of amazing. She is accommodating, responsive attentive and very personable. Coco is so excited to see her each time. She sends the most beautiful photos of Coco capturing her happiest moments. As a new dog owner, I am comfortable knowing my dog is in her care. Im grateful for her.”

3. Emanuel M.

“I would highly recommend Sukari! She was so communicative and friendly, and went above and beyond our expectations. I noticed how thoughtful she was with our dog’s transition to a new place, taking him for a walk and easing him in. Our dog had a fun time with hers, and we loved getting photos throughout the stay. Thank you Sukari!!!”

7. Maria A.

“This was our first time using Rover or Maria’s services and we are so happy we did! Our little Charlie (who is usually very nervous about new places and new people) ran right up to Maria’s door, and then to Maria. She happy to be there, which made us feel very comfortable to leave her for the day. She ate her whole bowl of food while she was there- a sign that she was content and at ease.”

8. Daniela A.

“Daniela was so great with our two dogs! They had so much fun at her house today. We appreciated the pictures that she sent while they were there 😊”

9. Monica B.

“I usually send my dog to daycare to a different person and he goes there every Tuesday through Wednesday, sometimes Saturday if he needs extra energy out by running in the large backyard. But the regular daycare lady had to go on a trip to her family in Hawaii and I had no where to send my dog to. I couldn't let him stay at home for 8 hours while my husband and I work. I looked through rover and found Monica. My dog seem to have fun, had 3 walks with her. I usually get a lot of videos and pictures from daycare but this time with Monica, I got enough and felt assured that he's okay. Thank you for taking care of my dog.”

10. Ashley P.

“Ashley was a life saver for us as she responded to our last minute late night request and even came to pick up our pup. She was very responsive and kept us up to date with pictures/videos of Gatsby, which helped to put our mind at ease. I recommend Ashley for daycare and boarding. We picked up our pup happy and almost sad to leave. Thanks Ashley!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and animals in general since a young age, with my grandpa running a small farm. I’ve grown up around breeds like German Shepherds, and have always taken care of friends’ dogs while they were in vacation. I learned a lot from my fiancé, who ran a successful dog walking business in New York City Give yourself peace of mind, your dog is in safe, loving, caring hands. I’m currently working from home with a special schedule which I take advantage of as it frees up a lot of time during the day. Pet care fits into it quite easily, as I have a daily routine I follow which includes dog walks, time with the dogs outside and of course feedings (and tending medicine when needed). I have a home situated on a quiet, secluded private lot that backs up onto a river with several trails within a short walking distance. The yard is secluded, well shaded and has ample space. I take care to be active with the dogs, so I usually toss frisbees or play fetch several times a day to keep them content. I walk my dogs twice around the neighborhood. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the owner’s consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. I have two modes of transport for dogs, both of which offer plenty of space, safety and comfort for the dogs while en route.

About: Taking care of animals is my calling! They love me and I love them. I’ve always enjoyed working with animals since a young age. I have worked in the dog grooming business training to hopefully own my own dog hotel in the near future! I also have worked at boarding facilities for dogs/cats. I have found that I truly love anything that provides a better space for animal boarding/care. I’m excited to have expanded my experience in dog sitting/walking! I will be offering grooming to the pups I dog sit/walk so feel free to ask about getting a bath/groom! I currently clean Airbnb’s part time. Recently it’s been even slower than part time working only 1 day a week. I can provide my services so long as the dates are available on my schedule! :) Each pet would be cared for differently according to their needs. Lots of love will be given to each dog I sit/walk, if allowed a few treats and toys for good behavior, and safety for the dogs and myself will be the main priority.

13. Rochelle W.

“We had a great experience with Rochelle! She was so nice and sent many videos of our girl throughout the day! Our mind was at ease know she was comfortable with her daycare!”

14. Candice L.
“Candice is a very cheerful and loving person, and that translates into her care for animals. She is patient and attentive. Not only will she take great care of your pet, she will be honored to as she treats every living being with respect. Her own dog, Bubba, is a rescue that has had a history of abuse from previous owners. With Candice, Bubba is confident, comfortable, secure, and loved. I have every confidence that she will care for your pet with the same energy.”

15. Shelby A.
“Shelby is a very dedicated and trustworthy person to tend to your animal. I love animals and am very protective of my pup Daphne, who is 11 months old. In the past as well as currently, shelby didn't mind taking care of Daphne for me last minute and helped potty train her. Definitely 10/10 will continue to let her care for my baby in the future”

16. Danielle V.

“We had a great experience with our pup Precious staying with Danielle. Her lovely place was very pet friendly. The location was very convenient for our day trip to Camelback Mountain.”

17. Cayla P.
“Cayla is the best person around to look after your pets! She genuinely cares about every pet she meets and wants to be a part of making them happy. She treats them like they're her own. I've witnessed her be this way with my own dog and with many other pets. She is super responsible and organized, too. You can count on her to be on time and to cater to your pet's individual needs. It's nice to have a trustworthy and reliable resource like her around when you need it!”

18. Alexandra L.

“Liddy always has a nice time visiting with Alexandra. She was wagging her tail and happy when we arrived and had just woken up from a nap in front of the fire when we arrived to pick her up. Liddy will be back again to stay with Alexandra the next time we are in the Poconos.”

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a child, and my flexible schedule allows me to be home with them all day while working. I live in a spacious three-floor condo at The Villages at Camelback in Tannersville, PA, offering plenty of room for your pets to relax and play. Situated slopeside of Camelback Mountain, I'm just a short drive from fantastic trails and state parks. I enjoy taking dogs on walks or to the dog park for some fun and exercise! My dog Simba is very friendly and gets along well with dogs of all sizes, while my curious 8-year-old cat, Felix, loves meeting new canine friends. I’d be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so you can visit the condo and introduce Simba before scheduling a pet sitting or walk. I know how nerve wracking leaving your fur babies can be, so rest assured I'll provide plenty of updates and photos of the awesome times we have while your away! Both me and my partner Alex are huge animal lovers and will make sure your pets are as comfortable, happy, and loved as possible while you are gone. There's nothing better than knowing your pet is having a blast while you are away and we'll do whatever is needed for your pets to make that the case, whether it's snuggles and love, hours of zoomies, playing, and fetch, or a mix of the two we'll make sure they have an awesome stay! Both me and my partner Alex work from home Monday - Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and both have a flexible schedule during the day to take the dogs out for potty breaks and adventurous walks. We do at least 1 longer walk (40 minutes +) during the day with our dog Simba and will be happy to do more for more active dogs! Let us know your dogs activity level and we'll adjust our walking schedule as needed! We have a large space with multiple floors for the dogs to stretch out in. We are home the majority of the time and will only leave the dogs alone for 1-2 hours at most if we need to run errands or have outings. We are happy to crate if needed or provide whatever space your pets need to feel comfortable!
