“We hired Shayna to walk our dogs while we were out of town for a week and my mom was house sitting. My mom said the dogs would wait for Shayna every day at the door. They have had past walkers they would hide from so that says everything! She was great at sending photos and communicating! Would def hire again!”

About: I have volunteered for a couple of years now with predominantly dogs. Taking them on walks and giving them lots of love and attention. Supporting them when they need it most. If there’s an animal around, chances are I’m petting it! I have both dogs and cats at my house and enjoy hanging out with them every chance I get. I love going on walks with my dogs on a nice day and can spend hours throwing a cat toy around! For me my cats do not go outside and if I walk my dog they stay on leashes. I check that they’re fed and that they have water and don’t mind taking my dogs outside regularly to make sure they can potty. In a clients house their animals safety and comfortability is most important to me.

About: I can't remember ever being without a dog or cat! Caring for, running, walking, hiking and sitting for all pets has always been my passion. I'm available anytime after 7 am to visit with, walk, hike or run your pet. I'm also available to just sit with and snuggle your pet anytime. I will come to your home and pick up your pet and exercise them, or visit in your home respecting your desires and pet's limitations.

About: I grew up with horses, dogs, cats, and even goats and cows at different times. I have always "had a way" with animals and even have an associate's degree in equine management. I am retired with a flexible schedule, and care for my 87-year-old mom, my husband (as needed, ha!), and a friendly, spoiled beagle. I love to hike in the local area and would be glad to take your dog on walks in the desert or on the many paved trails nearby. We have a fenced yard and a dog door that can accommodate up to a medium-sized dog. Our dog (Tucker) is part of our family, and your dog would be treated the same way. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I have a garden and care for my elderly mom, but your pet can tag along for those activities, or stay crated in our house, depending on the pet parent preferences. I have a fenced yard and a friendly beagle to keep your fur baby company. I am home all day, so will be here to let them in and out for potty breaks. If pet-sitting in someone's home, I would not bring my dog along (unless requested).

About: Animal lover, especially partial to dogs. I would love to watch and play with your pup, nothing would make me happier! I can take your dog on runs (1-3 miles at a time). Long walks, hikes, fetches in the park. I'm reliable, active and thoroughly enjoy company with dogs. I am comfortable with older dogs, giving medication, keeping up schedules, etc as well as younger rambunctious puppies and handling their energy. I've grown up with many big dogs and give my Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix an active life. My motto is "A tired dog is a happy dog." Let me know if you think I'd be a good match for your needs! I'm currently working part-time so I have the flexibility to care for your pooch! Mostly available during the weekdays, some weekend availability. I run a few times a week and wouldn't mind bringing your pup along if he/she would be into it. I have a fenced yard and dog door from the house. I make sure to pick up any edibles that are out if I'm leaving an animal for a bit so they won't get into it. Aware and thorough with details.

About: I provide exceptional pet care services including dog walking, pet feeding, and playtime activities resulting in improved physical and mental well-being of pets. Cared for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals, ensuring their well-being and comfort. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule. I can do drop ins, over nights and boarding on short notice. I’m excited to meet you! I have a fenced yard and two sweet small dogs to keep your pet company. Your pet will be safe and cared for here at my home.

About: Hiya! Thanks for stopping by! I’m Abbie and I bring 37 years of pet sitting experience to your home and loved fur family. I am mostly here for drop-in care and walkies because I have my own Fur Squad at home, but if we are a good fit I can do short duration overnight stays here and there. I work from home so I have tons of flexibility to provide reliable, loving care for your fur babies with excellent communication and plenty of pics! At 14 I started overnight pet-sitting for family friends and continued through my teens, college and adult years. I grew up caring for all the family pets—dogs, cats, turtles, snakes and the occasional o’possum rescue. My personal and pet sitting experience includes kitties, puppies, active dogs, high energy dogs, senior and special needs dogs (I have a tender soft spot for the Old Bones), giving oral meds, subcutaneous injections, saline drips. I have rehabbed 3 ACL (knee) surgeries and have other post-op, wound care experience. I have found, fostered and re-homed several (including my own) Mexican street rescue dogs and cats including 2000 miles of car travel and transport across the border for 2 different doggos to their furever homes. And with years raising chickens and rabbits I can make sure yours are well cared for too! If your doggie needs some extra adventure, we can make additional arrangements for a cool splash adventure in the river or a hike in a local canyon. Base rates subject to be adjusted as per you and your pet's special needs ie: medications, puppies in training with special needs, special needs pets, etc. I am highly flexible since I work from home and make my own schedule. I have plenty of time for daily check-ins, walkies, feeding, belly rubs, snuggles and play. Field trips are available with additional arrangements. I have always been known for my excellent communication and attention to detail. I adhere to your rules and your pets will be cared for and your home respected exactly as you wish. A meet and greet will help establish clear understanding of your expectations and initial bonding with your pet.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family and friends for a few years now, it’s one of my favorite past times. I form a bond with most pets I take care of because I give them a lot of attention, I respect them, I take time to get to know your pets’ personalities, and I listen to how their owners want their pets treated and trained. My favorite activities to do with dogs are going on hikes and playing fetch. I love giving cats cuddles and letting them relax with me while watching shows and movies. I’m a natural animal lover and will put my heart into making sure your furry family members are happy and healthy! If you need me with your pet 24/7 and don’t want them left alone, I can watch them on Saturdays, and Sundays. If your pet can be alone part/ most of the day, I can be a lot more available. I can do overnights any day of the week. Usually I do not house sit or pet sit on holidays. If I am available on a holiday, rates will be a little bit higher. Glance at my calendar to see which holidays I can accommodate for, typically it will be the minor ones. I keep my calendar updated 1 month in advance (current month and the month after). If you need to book with me further in advance, my calendar may not reflect an accurate availability so go ahead and message me! :) I will be able to take care of your pets in your home, I can’t watch them in my home. Thank you for your understanding!

About: I’ve had many years experience with caring for dogs. I’ve recently lost my fur baby of 18 years. I have a lot of love left to give to more for babies. I am semi retired so my availability is open. I think it’s important to keep each animal on a routine they are used to . I live in an apartment and have many areas to walk dogs and give one on one care. Always making sure there needs are met.

About: Hello! I am a healthcare worker who is looking to play with your pets on my days off. Perfect for last minute weekday plans where you don’t have the time to go on another walk. Give me a call! I currently work 3 days a week in healthcare. My schedule is random so I can be available for any last minute changes in your schedule. I live in grand junction with a fenced in backyard. I love long walks around the neighborhood. I would love to know what your animals interests and hobbies are.

About: Pet sitting for a long time for friends, family, and neighbors. Watched animals with all types of quirks. Experience with elder, disabled, puppies and kittens, and more! Able to watch for extended periods of time, and multiple pets at the same time. I am a student so pet and housesitting is no inconvenience. I can accommodate any requests for dogs to be let out, fed, given meds, and any other needs. I also clean up after myself and the animal/animals

About: As a veterinary technology student, I truly understand how important our animals are to us. I have learned much about animal behavior and how to provide them with the best care. My experience in clinic has also taught me many skills, and I have been around animals with their own unique personalities and behaviors. I am currently a full time student, but I have afternoons and weekends available. I have a separate job, but I am on a break as the store I work at is remodeling. I will occasionally have a few shifts before we open again. Depending on the animal, I am more than happy to play with your pets and make sure that they have fun and get enough enrichment while you are gone. I will ensure that your animals will get all the proper foods and if needed, medications that you want them to receive.

About: Mom and daughter dog-loving team! We have years of experience caring for dogs-large and small. We will give your pets all the love and care they need while you are away. Working from home means we can care for your pet throughout the day. My 14 year old daughter and 12 year old son love to help care for animals and will give your pet extra attention, walks, and playtime. We can provide playtime, walks, medical care, food and water refills, or just potty breaks while you are away! We will gladly follow all guidelines you give and provide consistent training/commands that you request.

“One of the best dog sitters we've had the pleasure of working with! Melanie was on the ball: never a food time missed or a walk uncounted. She sent us great pictures of the dogs and was punctual, communicated beautifully and made us feel like our dogs were in great hands. We appreciate her professionalism every step of the way. We would not hesitate to ask her again to watch our dogs, and feel honored she gave us her time and expertise. Thank you so much, Melanie!!”

About: I worked at Bark & Meow for 3 years and was also the kennel Tech manager there for almost a year. I then worked at Wag Resort as a kennel tech, and moved to Casa De Pets as the grooming shop manager. I am certified in pet CPR and first aide and have learned about pack mentality and dog behaviors. I have a black lab and a border collie myself. I hope to meet you and your pets and spend some quality time with them. I work full time Monday-Friday so I am available Friday afternoons and all weekend. I can do drop in visits to your home and also come over on the weekend to walk your pets. I ensure to follow your pets normal schedule and stick to their normal routine that they are used to. I can administer medication at their normal time, and come to your home to check on them multiple times a day.

About: All my life I have been surrounded by all different kinds of animals, from the fluffy to the scaly. I am familiar with taking care of any four legged friend and even the ones that slither. Ever since I got my license in high school I was the designated family pet sitter, any time a relative had a vacation planned they would ask me if I could watch their pets overnight and make sure that their furry friends were both happy and most importantly healthy. I am even familiar with interacting with more aggressive pets and have no problem getting to know them and building trust with them. I am attending college at CMU and I am currently on summer vacation so my schedule is incredibly flexible. If you need someone to just drop in for a bathroom break and hang out with your furry friends or if you need somebody to stay overnight and take care of any other pets I’m your guy. I currently own two cats that I have loved and been taking care of for the past four years. Since we live in an apartment complex they can’t really go outside so it is incredibly important that I provide them with a wide variety of toys and entertainment. I make sure that they constantly have access to their toys and I even have a few toys that I can use to play with them too. While these are the only pets that I personally own they are not the only animals I interact with constantly. My brother has two pit bulls that I watch on a regular basis, and for them I have to use a completely different method. Since these dogs are more aggressive than other dogs I have to be creative when it comes to taking care of their needs. For exercise in the day I will play fetch with them in the back yard and then when it gets dark and less people are out that is when I will take them for a walk. I am also familiar with taking care of reptiles and making sure that the heat lamp is working correctly and making sure they have plenty of water.

“My dog Oso absolutely loves Abbie! He runs to the window looking for her if I say her name! We used her to give him pee breaks and play time through all of his puppy era. She understands dog body language well and helped with his formative training. Abbie is our trusted and reliable source for on-call walks and hikes since we work long hours and can’t always personally give him the exercise he deserves.”

It often extends to animals, too. Whether she’s feeling guilty about leaving her cat to go out to dinner or hugging stray dogs she meets while traveling, Jessica’s heart overflows with love. She is deeply responsible, nurturing, and attentive, any pet would be lucky to be in her care.”

Sharon E.

“Sharon seems like a very conscientious dog walker. She was attentive to my schedule and to the dogs. Also was good at communicating with me. Will definitely use again.”

Zahira M.
“Zahira is an incredible pet caregiver! I have a pack of pups - a husky, a pitbull, and two mini poodles - and they absolutely adore her. My dogs tend to have separation anxiety, so finding someone they trust is crucial. She's always patient, understanding, and provides them with the love and attention they need. Zahira is responsible, caring, and clearly passionate about animals.
