Many might have gotten frustrated and left, but Genniver got creative and was able to take care of my boy. She sent prompt updates, took care of Gus, and provided pictures of the walk. About: Hi, I'm Brittney! I am new to Rover, but not new to pet sitting! I grew up with dogs in the house since I was a toddler. Now I have the privilege to have dogs and cats grow up in my house. I have 2 large dogs and 2 cats and would love to care for your fur-baby! I was entrusted with having the responsibility of taking care of our pets since I was a young teenager. This meant, I was responsible for feeding, bathing, and walking them on a regular basis. I love spending time with my pets in my back yard on beautiful days and taking the dogs out for walks. I have the ability to decide what my work schedule will look like from day-to-day, which provides me the flexibility to adjust my hours as needed to care for your pet(s). I would love to care for your pet(s) in your home because they are familiar and comfortable with the environment. “Here's the thing...Mandy is awesome! She wanted to do a Meet and Greet with our pup, before setting up a walking appointment. Our Border Collie is a shy girl when it comes to strangers. Mandy came in and sat on the floor, being patient and letting our dog come to her. After maybe 2 minutes our pup was best friends with her lol. Our pup kept getting Mandy to play tug, and throw her toy. It was so funny and cute. She didn't want to just take our money. She wanted to make sure she was a good fit for our dog, before committing to a walk. That's pretty cool. After taking our pup on a walk she always makes sure there's water in the bowl before she leaves. Mandy is very organized and professional! I would 100% recommend her.”

“Our 2 dogs had the best stay with Katie. You can tell she loves dogs and treated them like her own. She let our little chihuahua snuggle with her the whole week and our big dog loved playing with her puppy. Lots and pictures and videos were sent and she even gave them some healthy thanksgiving treats (she asked permission first) and a cute Xmas bandana to come home in. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to use her again.”

About: Hey!! I am currently back and forth between college and have always wanted to take care of pets full time! I respond fast and want to make you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible knowing they will be cared for and have a lot of fun! I have had a variety of pets from different ages and with different needs my whole life. I have trained family and friend’s pets while caring for them when needed. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your fur babies when you can’t, and I always want to create a very welcoming space and attitude to do so! I am currently working a part time job and will hopefully be caring for pets full time, so I have plenty of time to care and spend time with your pets. I strongly believe in a routine for pets if they already have one in place. I can take care of your pet in the most comfortable setting that is known for them: your home. I can follow instructions very closely if needed, or can go out, explore, and try new things, if that is what they need!

About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, whether it be dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles or amphibians. In addition to my own pets, I have been caring for others’ pets for the past ten years, and it brings me joy to give pet parents peace of mind while they’re away from their animals. I’m currently focusing on obtaining my bachelor’s degree at UTSA have a lot of free time during the week and weekends, and will soon have much more availability during the summer. I have a lot of experience with petsitting in the owners’ home and absolutely prefer that. I think it’s important that pets feel comfortable and safe, especially while their owner is away. I am also more than willing to take pets to boarding school, daycare, dog parks, etc.
