“Julie and Michael were so easy to work with when our leaving and arriving times changed. The dog had a wonderful time at their wonderful place. They took great care of Rosie and she enjoyed her stay with them. Would use them again.”

“Angie is the absolute best! I brought my two dogs for a meet and greet before their stay and she answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. She has a lovely home and yard and you can tell how much she cares about dogs. I was nervous as I've never boarded before. One of my dogs is very nervous in new situations. Angie sent daily updates and pics text ands assured me he was doing great. And he was! Both my babies were comfortable, loved, exercised, and treated as part of the family. Angie is professional, kind, accommodating, and gentle. When I picked them up they were happy and worn out! Lots of play! We drove almost an hour out of the way to leave them with her. We will do it again! Look no further! ”

“Monika is truly great! She is flexible and has helped us out last minute with changes in our plans. We’ve used her services several times already and will definitely book again. Our dogs come home happy and peaceful - such a difference from when they are at the kennel. We have 2 smaller dogs that aren’t exceptional with other dogs, and her larger dogs are sweet and gentle with them. Coming back there a second time they got so excited and were ready for playtime! Monika’s a good communicator, sending little pics and videos of the pups while we are gone. I highly recommend her services.”

“What an absolute gem of a family! Marshall was so well taken care of and happy. They took time to provide us daily updates. There is nothing better than knowing you have left your pup in caring hands while you are away and they check this box.”

“Our mini dachshund can be a challenge because he is older, and a bit of a loner. He isn’t around a lot of other animals and that can also make knowing how he will react a bit of a challenge. Thomas was really great. When we first arrived, Snicklefritz was very anxious and was a bit weary of me putting him down. Thomas was very patient with him and let Snick become more acquainted with him and with the yard. He sent me pictures throughout the stay to update me on how he was doing and what he was up to. Thomas made me feel much more relaxed and confident that Snicklefritz was doing well. We will certainly rebook in the future.”

“This sitter was great. Perfect property for my dog as he is not used to being confined indoors all day aside from a few walks. He lives to run and chase squirrels! Dawn has a perfect friend for him there as well 'Dexter' which got along great with my boy. Great communicator, punctual, and even gave me doggie art with his paw print on canvass for me! Highly recommended! PJP”

About: I’ve had and taken care of many different breeds and sizes over my life time of dogs as well as special needs and cats too! I typically wake up around 7-8. Go to the gym sometime within the day but other than that I’m free to watch your babies and take good care of them. I have a really friendly dog who is no more than 20 pounds and a fenced in yard if I watch them at my house. If at someone else house I have plenty of experience with that too and can do all that will be asked.
“Haley was amazing with our dog, Atlas. This was our pup’s first stay away from home and Haley worked hard to make sure Atlas felt comfortable and loved. She sent us updates daily with pictures and videos which really helped to alleviate our own anxiety about leaving Atlas. Haley even gave Atlas a bath and brushed her out before we picked her up and that is a job in itself! We will most definitely leave our pets with Haley in the future without concern knowing they will be loved and well cared for.”

“Sara was amazing with our sweet Daisy. She allowed us to meet her and her dog and see the property before committing which was such a great idea! She took amazing care of our girl and sent us an update every day. Daisy was so happy when we picked her up- we will definitely use Sara again!”

“My boys dont have a lot of experience staying with other people, but im so glad u booked with Lilleigh and Gwen! They made my boys right at home and gave them constant love! I was able to actually enjoy our trip and not worry if they were comfortable.”

About: I have experience with all walks of life when it comes to animals. From fish to farm animals. I have two cats and two dogs and chickens and goats and pigs and ducks. Along with house birds. I am currently not working. I am a stay-at-home mom. So my schedule is pretty open. Especially to boarding I have the space for it. TimeWise I do work around my toddler schedule for dog walking and Cat sitting. I have a fenced in backyard. A very large house. I also have four kids that love animals. So an animal that loves kids would be preferred. But not completely out of the question if there is a child issue I can just keep my kids away from the animal. Pretty easy to fix.

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!
“Vivian was great with our dogs. We have a 5lb Yorkie that can be anxious, but she walked right up to Vivian in the meet and great. She demonstrated no anxiety during her stay with Vivian. Our Boots settled right in and made friends with Vivian’s dogs. Vivian sent pictures all throughout the visit. We will certainly use Vivian again and again.”

“Jazmin was so great with our Hershey! She sent pictures several times while we were gone to show us how much fun she was having and put our mind at ease! She was treated like family and we couldn’t be happier with how well she was taken care of while we were away!”

“I ended up reaching out to Maggie for a day of boarding. We were traveling in her area, and I asked if she’d take care of my pup for a few hours while we went out for my birthday dinner. Sadly, we had a last minute emergency and didn’t end up using her services. That being said, she was very kind, communicative, and flexible. I appreciated the interaction immensely, and I would reach out again in a heartbeat if we lived in the area!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had at least one dog in the house. So I learned the basics of feeding, grooming, walking , and training from an early age. As I got older. I naturally became the go-to dog sitter for neighbors and friends in the community. Whether it was daily walks, overnight stays, or just keeping a dog company while their owners were away, I’ve always enjoyed making a dog comfortable while I was watching them. Currently, I have my own dog (Milo) who is 2yrs old. I have gained experience in giving my dog a happy and healthy life. It’s never been a chore to me - it’s something I take joy in. I’m currently working full time through the week. I am available for boarding on Fridays after 5:30pm and through the weekends, so I will have plenty of time for fun with the fur babies. I have a fenced in backyard. I have 2 dogs (Milo and Maggie Mae) that can keep your fur babies company. There is a park near by for walking and fun!

Hi there! 👋 We’re Kaio, Jan and Anik - three lifelong dog lovers who simply enjoy spending our days surrounded by happy pups. Our goal is to give every dog a wonderful experience in a safe, fully supervised environment where they can play, relax, and connect with nature - while giving owners peace of mind through open, caring communication. Among us, we have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities. Anik also has a background working in professional dog boarding settings, where she cared for groups of dogs at a time and learned to read their behavior and body language with ease. Our home has a large, securely fenced yard that’s perfect for exploring, running, and sunbathing. Inside, dogs are welcome everywhere - because to us, they’re part of the family. 🐾 We share our space with two sweet resident dogs: a playful 1-year-old Golden Retriever and a calm, gentle 11-year-old Chow Chow. They love meeting new friends and know how to match the energy of any guest - whether it’s joining in a game or simply relaxing side by side. We know how hard it can be to be away from your pup, so we make sure you always feel connected. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages - the kind we’d love to get if our dogs were staying somewhere new. At the end of the day, our goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and happy - just like they do at home. ❤️ In 2025, we've cared for over 330 dogs, with 114+ repeat clients who keep coming back for our personalized, loving care! We're excited to expand from our half-acre home to a private 6+ acre retreat in Silver Creek, GA—a perfect mix of open cleared fields for romping and wooded trails for adventure. This allows us to build dedicated play yards and special zones just for dogs. What sets us apart: A completely cage-free home where pups roam freely indoors and in secure outdoors—no crates ever! We cap groups at 6 compatible dogs (matched by age, size, temperament, and energy), ensuring tons of individual attention, play, and cuddles. Experienced with all ages—including puppies and senior dogs (meds, mobility help, and cozy comfort). Stays feature daily exercise, enrichment, photo/video updates, and endless love. Your dog will feel right at home here—we can't wait to meet them! I work full-time from home. Pet care is the heart of my daily routine—it's my full-time passion! As a dedicated home-based sitter, I'm here 24/7 with the dogs, structuring our days around their happiness and needs. A typical day starts with morning potty breaks, breakfast, and energetic play sessions in our secure yards. Midday brings walks on trails, enrichment activities (like puzzle toys or training games), and plenty of cuddles. Afternoons are for supervised group play (always small and compatible groups), rest time, dinner, and evening wind-down with more outdoor time or cozy indoor relaxation. To ensure personalized care and a safe, stress-free environment, we keep our groups small. Let’s chat about how we can provide the best care for your pup!

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent my whole life caring for them. Being the primary caregiver for my own family pets has given me a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and behaviors. Over the years I’ve raised and cared for dozens of animals, including abandoned kittens that I bottle‑fed from a few days old. These experiences taught me patience, problem‑solving, and how to stay calm and capable in all kinds of situations. I’ve also provided pet care for family friends, neighbors, and coworkers, giving me hands‑on experience with many different breeds, ages, and temperaments. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is always to make them feel safe, understood, and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work part‑time on weekends while attending college full‑time throughout the week, which gives me plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I can easily adjust my routine to make sure your pets get the care, attention, and consistency they need. I’m reliable, communicative, and always make pet care a priority. I live on 6+ acres with plenty of space for dogs to explore and enjoy, but my yard is not fenced, so all outdoor time is always supervised for safety. I have a friendly Great Pyrenees named Lily and a cat named Willow, who I bottle‑fed and raised from a kitten. They’re both very sweet, but I can keep my pets completely separate from yours if needed to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I pay close attention to their behavior, keep a controlled environment, and follow any routines or rules you prefer. You can trust that your pet will be cared for with caution, love, and respect.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Redbud home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Redbud.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
