Getting out with your dog is the best part of my day! Since I work in a veterinary environment, safety is second nature to me. About: I had a dog as a child. I have had dogs for over 35 years. They are great company and a great addition to any family. I am retired. My time would be totally devoted to spending time with your pet(s). I look forward to giving you the comfort that your pets are well-cared for while you are not home. My pets at home are pretty spoiled. They are not crated and we play inside and outside. Whatever the owners require is what I will do. Unfortunately, my most recent dog died of cancer. I miss her; but look forward to taking good care of other people’s pets.

About: I had my own dog from age 10-16 who I took care of every day and my brother now has a dog who lives with us who I also help take care of. We also had two cats when I was younger and plenty of other pets such as fish, lizards, and hamsters. I now own two of my own cats who are my world! My oldest cat, Solomon, has cerebellar hypoplasia, so I am experienced in taking care of special needs animals as well! I am currently in school attending classes at Kutztown. I commute (obviously lol) so I my schedule is pretty wide open other than class! Right now I just have class MWF from 10-2 (plus commute time), but I’m free otherwise! I know the ins and outs of taking care of animals as I have plenty of experience. I know how to take care of trained and untrained dogs whether that be crates or something else. Animals have always been a part of my life, and I have owned dogs for as long as I can remember. Currently, our family shares our home with a dog, a cat, and a flock of chickens, so I am comfortable caring for a variety of animals and understand the importance of providing reliable, attentive care. My husband and I live in Zionsville with our three children, and we stay actively involved in our community. I work at our local middle school during the school year and have a very flexible schedule throughout the summer. In addition to caring for my own pets, I volunteer extensively with my children's activities. I serve as the treasurer for my daughter's club soccer team, help my husband run our youth lacrosse program, and enjoy participating with my son in Boy Scouts. Whether your pet needs a drop-in visit, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, companionship, or a walk, I will treat them with the same love and attention I give my own animals. About: I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and have grown up caring for my own pets and friends/familys’ pets. I have confident handling experience with all animals ranging from chickens, goats, cats, dogs, and horses. I have a clean, 2 bedroom apartment (heat/AC) but primarily when I have a dog for daycare/boarding the fun is all outside. Your dog will join me (and my dog if yours is okay with it) to local parks and trails dependent on the dogs’ abilities and preferences. We will spend time sniffing at the local field and get lots of belly rubs and cuddles when play time is over! **Due to me having my own dog and needing to keep the environment controlled and safe with new incoming dogs, your dog MUST be able to sleep in a crate in my spare room which has its own AC unit/baseboard heater and quiet space.** I recommend sending your fur baby along with their own bed & favorite toy to remind them of you when you’re away!
