About: I have owned, trained and cared for dogs, cats and horses over the last 17 years. I also work with a dog rescue organization in the area and have fostered over 40 dogs in the last 3 years. As an avid animal lover I understand the significant impact that owning animals has on our ability to travel and relax when away. I want to provide people the opportunity to travel care-free while their dogs enjoy the best care being boarded in my home. I have a very dog-friendly house with a fully secure fenced in yard. I work from home so dogs receive attention all day and night and get lots of playtime. Dogs boarded here will get free roam of the house but can also have and use a crate at the owner’s request. I am able to feed special diets and give medication as needed. If your dog stays here they will be welcomed into my house as if they were one of my own. Dogs that come here should be friendly with both male and female dogs. There are no cats in the home. I am also available for lunch time, evening and weekend dog walking. If you have a city dog and would love a place for them to frolic in an oversized fenced yard, interact with farm animals (safely through a fence), and socialize with other dogs, this is THE spot! I was anxious about boarding our dog for the first time through Rover but Amanda's confidence, professionalism, and experience made this easy for me. She was extremely communicative and pretty much has every detail taken care of so all I needed to bring was food. During boarding, my dog had loads of fun playing with other dogs, making new friends, and (sadly for me) ignored the farm animals entirely. Having a place to board your dog where their primal needs are met under the supervision of dog experts is such a peace of mind while traveling! We'll be back!”
