About: My husband and I are furtunate enough to work from home. Along with our adult daughter, we take pleasure in caring for, and showering love on, our furry guests. I began my career as a professional dog trainer/behaviorist in Southern California in 1996. It wasn't until after our move to Las Vegas in 2002 that my business was truly established. However, in 2011, we unexpectedly uprooted and moved to Houston, TX, and found myself heading into a new venture in the dog industry. During our 9 years in Texas, I become involved with other canine endeavors, including competing in AKC Conformation with our Akitas and Whippets and occasionally assisting in breed-specific and all-breed rescue organizations. After moving to northwest Mississippi in August 2020, we decided to continue offering our boarding and pet care services because of how much we enjoy it. In addition to playing with dogs, I have a part-time position in my home, which enables me to give each of our canine guests plenty of attention. My husband works full-time from home and is always available as a backup in case I have to run off to an appointment. Also living in our home are our two young adult daughters, Beth & Rachel. We are all dog lovers who also happen to be "dog-wise". Our own dogs are friendly and well-behaved and enjoy having fur-friends come to visit. Admittedly, we do have a good amount of dogs, but we have established a great routine and, if our fur-guest isn't too sure at first, we have plenty of options in keeping dogs separated until our fur-guest feels comfortable and happy. We have a considerable amount of experience at pairing dogs in appropriate play groups according to size, temperament and activity level. Our home is situated on nearly 2 acres with about a half-acre securely fenced for dogs to play in. Our active guests will have tons of fun outside playing with each other and chasing squirrels, in addition to spending a large portion of the day and all night relaxing inside our home. Our more sedentary guests have plenty of laps, couch space, and dog beds to laze around on. While crates are a useful tool for keeping dogs comfortable and safe, especially during the brief periods nobody is home, rest assured your sweet babies will not be locked in a crate for long periods. We also have extensive experience with many types of animals, such as chickens, goats, donkeys and horses and offer drop-in visits, where we come to your home to feed, exercise, and interact with your pet(s) and/or farm animals. Our fee is "per visit" and is the same regardless of the number of pets/animals. Additionally, I offer house sitting on a case-by-case basis where I spend nights at your home. Again, our "per night" fee is the same regardless of the number and type of pets/animals in your home or on your property. However, a premium may be assessed if the care of livestock is fairly substantial. Currently, we are only serving the areas of Holly Springs, Byhalia, and Red Banks for drop-in visits but are available to drive longer distances for house sitting. Feel free to request more information. We have a securely fenced yard and friendly dogs to keep your dog company during the periods I am working in my home office. Our weekends are typically not very busy, but there are 4 of us available to love and care for your pet. We begin each day with a quick stretch of the legs and a potty break followed by breakfast then playtime outside. Dogs are divided into small groups according to size and play style then rotated between fun time in our fenced yard and relaxing in our home on dog beds and couches. Evenings are often spent playing family games or watching a movie. For bedtime, dogs can sleep in our rooms, on the couch, or in their crate, depending on where they're most comfortable.

Animals have always been part of my family, and I truly love caring for fur babies of all ages and personalities. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets are treated like family. I have a secure fenced-in backyard with plenty of green space for dogs to safely play, explore, and get exercise. Pets will receive lots of attention, supervision, affection, walks, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m happy to follow each pet owner’s routines, feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special preferences to help pets feel comfortable and secure. If needed, I can also crate pets according to the owner’s instructions and comfort level.

About: I’ve had a deep love and passion for animals since I was a child. I’m known to take in strays and help them either find their home or get them to a shelter so they can be taken care of . I’m very patient with every kind of animal , puppies and juveniles are my favorite seeing as though they have the most energy . I’m currently working part-time so I have all the time to sit in house with pups or cats. I’m available to board on weekends and can even provide pickup and drop off services. I have a fenced in yard and if need be I’m open to watching them from your home. All animals are free roam unless you want them crated .

About: I’ve owned different breeds of dogs from pit bulls to chihuahuas. Growing up I was the dog sitter for everyone around. I bathed walked and took care of them mostly from the comfort of their own homes as their owners were away on trips. I am between jobs rn so for the next couple weeks I am completely free any time of day any day for whatever needs my pets may need. My yard is not fenced in so outside time at my house will consist of being walked on a leash for as long as the dogs may need. But otherwise they will be inside.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I have a dog who turns 8 this year, which I take full responsibility, that includes: vet visits, grooming, and activities. I also have trained her to do cool tricks! I've taken care of my sister's 2 dogs as well while she was on vacation. I have a lot of experience with small animals too! I have the whole summer off from college, and I am recovering from my illness, so I believe that taking care of a pet will fit into my schedule without interrupting doctor visits. It also is not as straining as a retail job. I will make sure to check for areas that could cause harm to an animal and provide a solution to the problem to ensure safety. I am also schedule sensitive, so I make sure that animals get fed on time.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away! I have one of my own - golden doodle full of energy and curiosity! I have a flexible schedule and enjoy staying active throughout the day. About: I am overly loving towards dogs and have all the patience for them. I’m a physician associate and am comfortable taking care of pet special needs! I currently a travel PA and working on my doctorate so my schedule is quite flexible. When I am not traveling for work, I am home studying. I have about half off the month off and do better when I have plans such as watching your pet! My schedule is flexible so if you don’t see availability, please PM/request separately! I currently live in a condo with a large outdoor private dog park so I am willing have them with me upon request! About: I have had pets since I was a child . From fish, turtles, dogs , cats and a guinea pig . I love animals so much. I am currently working part time and I’m usually gone 4-5 hours a day . About: I'm highly skilled at reading animal body language. I have experience with anxious, temperamental, excitable, shy, and senior pets. I've cared for cats since a young age and have more recent hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I'm comfortable supporting both energetic younger pets and older pets who require a softer approach. I am able to handle animals gently, give oral/injection medications, routine care, play, and feeding. I am currently work part-time Monday through Wednesday from 10:00am-6:00pm. On Thursdays and Fridays, I'm fully available during the day and usually make plans around 6:00pm, but I'm always happy to stop by before or after. I'm completely available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for visits, drop-ins, or extended care. I always make sure I'm aware of any pet allergies, medical needs, and medications that must be given. If a medication has to be administered at a specific time, I will adjust my schedule to ensure your pet's safety and consistency. I take care to keep toxic plants, foods, and loose wires out of reach, and I maintain clean litter boxes and bowls throughout my visits. If certain pets cannot share a space, I will follow your instructions closely to keep everyone safe and comfortable. In case of emergencies, I have a reliable vehicle that pets can safely ride in if transportation is needed.

About: I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care. I’ve grown up with animals my entire life and have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. My family has always had dogs and a cat, and now that I’m in college, I live with a roommate who has a dog as well — animals have always been a constant part of my everyday life. One thing I hear often is that pets tend to warm up to me quickly. I’m naturally calm, patient, and attentive, and I take the time to let animals approach me at their own pace. I pay close attention to body language and personality, which helps pets feel safe and understood, especially if they’re shy, anxious, or sensitive to new people or environments. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including overnight stays and extended care. About: I've had pets all of my life. I love all animals especially dogs. I currently have a toy poodle named jewels . Jewels is actually my sister's dog but she was born on my birthday and we've been inseparable since the first day I laid eyes on her. The love of a pet is unconditional and that's one of the characteristics i love most about dogs. They can sense danger and they can also sense when they are in good hands. Im a 35 year old stay at home mom (to a 2 year old daughter) that loves animals and wants your fur baby to be shown as much love as I would show my own. Hopefully I can help someone whose feeling the guilt of working long hours and not being able to walk or spend as much time as they would like with their pet. Ive been there before so I can definently relate. Sometimes things come up and it has happened to all of us. Hopefully I can help by being that piece of mind for you to know that your pet is not lonely and is in excellent care. My daughter goes to daycare during the week so im pretty flexible 7 days a week. Im ok with schedules but I also understand that things happen. Some situations are unplanned and last minute and that's ok with me as well. Communication is everything. I live in a community that loves dogs and im sure your fur baby will love visiting here. I am a homeowner and I have a big gated backyard as well as a park with a walking trail that I visit frequently on a weekly basis.

About: Back in 2014, I attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology, graduated early with my diploma in Assistance Animal Laboratory Technicians, also with a certification in Purina Mills Animal Care Course. I have done an internship with North Shelby Animal Shelter as well as Bartlett Animal Shelte, where I took stray dogs/ abandoned out for walks and to play. Most of the dogs I encountered with at the shelter were sweet and loving dogs that just need a friend and time to spend with a person. I treated those dogs as my own. I have also intern at University of Tennessee Health and Science Center taking care of rodents, pigs, and other animals. I am someone who is mature, candid and who has integrity. Everyday I work to improve myself and my skills which is part of maturing and becoming better at what I do, this is why I want clients to choose me. I will treat your pets as my own pets. I do nights 12 hour shifts 3 nights a week then I’m free the other days and nights if it works with your schedule I have a fenced in back yard & can kennel them if need be ! Or can always come to your house if more comfortable

About: Growing up in Arkansas, it gave me that country life! I’ve had ducks, a goat, a rabbit, horses, cats, ponies, dogs, and chickens as my responsibilities to take care of. It was hard work, although I didn’t see it that way because I enjoy spending time with animals. This passion for animals has encouraged me to join 4-H( Marion/West Memphis Arkansas area), actively volunteer at animal shelters, join the Humane Society of Tennessee, and currently am working on my Vet Tech certifications. I’m here to show your pets it’s okay, their owner is leaving for the moment because we will have fun and I can give them the same attention and care that their awesome owners give them. I also have 3 years of experience dealing with domestic and farm animals! I have a very fexible schedule and I’m home almost all the time. We go on walks or the dog park on good sunny days. I send pics and sometimes videos during there stay. I care for pets in client’a home by abiding by the rules or task the client instructs me to do for there pet during the stay. I play with the pet while I’m there multiple times during the day and I make sure i leave the place how i came in or better. I usually clean before I leave and make sure everything is done as instructed by my clients!
