“Kristy is absolutely the best! Both my cats are in love with her, even my shy girl. It's such peace of mind to know my babies are being cared for as if they were her own. Kristy goes above and beyond and I couldn't be happier. I've already got her lined up for more visits. Thank you, Kristy! I don't know what I would have done without you!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our dogs while we were out of town. She went above and beyond to make sure each of them was well taken care of, comfortable and loved. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pups, and that means everything. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and genuinely caring.”

“Maddie took such good care of our cat during our long vacation! She was extremely flexible with date changes as personal circumstances changed. She even went the extra mile by watering our garden and getting our mail. She took pictures and gave great updates on our kitty! I’d highly recommend Maddie!”

“Mikenah was amazing! She came by a couple days before I needed her to watch my dogs, and met my dogs in my home so that they’d be more comfortable with her for the day of. One of my dogs are very nervous around new people, but he took a liking to her right away which is a great sign! She sent pictures of them on their walk which I also really appreciate! Thank you so much Mikenah!”

“One of our pups is very anxious around new people and Rachel has been so great with her. She lets her take her time to warm up to her and it has been such a relief to have someone we can rely on to take such good care of them.”

About: I was born and raised with dogs in my life and care passionately for them! I will play, roll on the floor, lay and watch TV and bring your dog along for car rides with me (if you want). There will be no other family dogs while I care for yours this will ensure that your dog will be safe from confrontations or diseases with other animals. She was incredibly responsive, consistent with updates, and truly cared for our two dogs and our cat while we were away. It was clear they were well cared for and getting plenty of attention. Sandra went above and beyond in every way, giving us complete peace of mind while we were on vacation. We came home to happy pets and everything just as we left it. About: Hello! I just want to start off by saying that I love animals! And have loved them since I was a little kid. I grew up in a small town with all kinds of animals. I treat all animals as if they were my own. And to me they’re more than an animal, they’re a child. I have three wonderful puppies whom I love very much. They are my children. My three babies are energetic but they do nap throughout the day. I’ll sit down to watch tv and they’ll lay down and watch with me until they fall asleep. Doggy drop off and pick up, boarding can be at anytime that you need ☺️. Also, since I work 3 days a week I have my husband who can help me out and watch them when I am at work. That way they are not alone. He’s a big dog lover just like I am. 😊 I hope I get to watch your fur baby/babies for you sometime in the future! I work only 3 days a week and but when I am home I will love your dog and play with them either inside or outside when the weather allows us to. My daughter loves our dogs and playing with them. Also, when I am at work I don’t crate my dogs. If the weather is nice I will leave them outside. Or if it isn’t they stay in our finished basement where it is cozy and warm for them. I have a fenced in yard with three friendly dogs who would love to have another playmate to play with. I do have a pit but he is the biggest baby I have ever met. But, If it would make you feel more comfortable I can make sure mine are separated from yours while they are here in my care. They would be able to play outside when the weather is nice and they would also get to come and lay down with me while we watch tv.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Raymore
My dog was on some medications that made him have to go out more frequently. Rachel stopped in twice a day when I had to be in the office. She was fantastic! She let him out, sate with him for 30 minutes giving him attention, and let him out again before she left. I could tell from the pictures she sent that my dog loved her being there. So happy to have Rachel available to pop in and help out. She is amazing!

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Izzy and Leo. Both of our cats are very shy, and we were a bit anxious leaving them. Ali was so patient, gentle, and sweet with them. She really went above and beyond what we asked, taking time to make sure they were comfortable. The daily updates and photos meant a lot, it gave us much reassurance knowing how they were doing each day. It’s clear Ali truly cares about the animals she looks after. We’re so grateful and will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
