“Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! About: Ive been doing Rover now for almost 2 years and it has brought me so much joy and new friends! I worked a summer at kc zoo and it was the most fun job I have ever had. I've had dogs and cats my whole life. Also around horses from my uncle. I have adopted all of my animals from shelters. I love my dogs and cats like they are family. I have a teenage son I have to keep out of petco or any other animal place otherwise he wants to bring all the animals home, joking but not completely untrue. It's how we ended up with our Kitty Maisey. We even took care of the class's bearded dragon over spring break during Covid. He will come along on visits if available as he is the animal whisperer and wants to be a vet. Our 2 dogs are Dottie (our adopted covid pointer mix pup who is the sweetest girl and loves to have visitors to play with), and Marley who is our very sweet, laid back senior dog. Both our pups were rescues. Marley is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks so we sre familliar with giving medications and making dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dottie is allergic to something during the late summer and September month and takes medicine for that allergy at that time. We believe in treats but only rawhide free and dental bones. Please bring your own food and treats and let me know if you prefer not to share our treats. We also have 2 cats that are used to dogs and in fact think that each dog is their mommy since we got them as kittens and have an attachment to their respective dog mommy. You will even find cats and dogs snuggling together on the bed. Or Moose playing with Dottie in his tunnel. I have had animals with special needs from a diabetic cat that I gave insulin injections to treating animals with special needs. I live right down the street from a great dog park here in belton. We would love to take any new friends to visit. Please let me know if you prefer them not to go to the dog park and we can stay here and play. We have a fenced back yard but one side is only 4 ft. I work from home as a director so I have a very flexible schedule. My son does play competitive soccer so sometimes weekends have us at soccer field for about 2 hours. I have a fenced yard 3 sides are 6 foot privacy and one has a 4 foot chain link. I follow my client's care directions in their homes.

About: I've been training and taking care of dogs for 33 years. I had a couple childhood pets then when I was 18 I adopted and trained a dog that stayed with my family for 15 years. I also had a Labrador who made it to 13 and my current old man puppy is 13. I've been with my husband for 20 years. We LOVE dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm a stay at home mom to my geriatric dog. We get up around 6am, go outside for a bit, come in and get breakfast, then lounge while I clean. Lunchtime we go out again, have healthy snacks like carrots, then play in the fenced in yard or the living room depending on weather and temperature. Late afternoon and evening we wind down and get ready for dinner. I have a fenced in yard, a friendly old dog, tiled floors, comfortable furniture that they're allowed on, and air vents that come from the floors (dogs love to lay on them). There is security on my home and absolutely nobody but delivery people come here during the day.

About: I own a dog myself and have raised her and trained her on my own since I was 14. I love being surrounded by all types of dogs and their own little personalities. I’m a college student, so with the summer starting I want to dedicate my time spending it with dogs! I enjoy taking them on walks to give both of us some exercise! I care for my own dog by prioritizing activness. She loves to go outside, with our fenched in backyard, and we play with a ball. I also love taking her for walks. About: I have taken care of 2 dogs in my life. I know the basic’s, example , feeding, walking, and bathing. Wanting to spend my time to help all dog owners find someone they can trust while they are away. I’m working Full time currently but have time mostly in the evenings throughout the whole week. Giving time for your dog and providing love till you are ready to pick them up or drop off I have a fenced yard with neighbors fence near mine. They do have pets as well,Husky's, they are vocal and jumpy but I mostly supervise outside in case anything may happen. About: Family pets have been part of most of my life. With no pets of my own now, I would like to enjoy and help other pet owners. I also enjoy walking. I am a retired RN who is looking for part time activities and income. I have elderly parents and grandchildren whom I help with but extra time for pet activities. Our yard is not fenced but larger sized and the neighborhood is mostly 5-20 acre homes. Our street is not a busy one, so walks are easy to do. I can also get to the Lees Summit doggy park in about 15 minutes.
