“Katherine did an excellent job. She was very communicative, followed all instructions perfectly, and made sure the cats' area was always nice and tidy. Would highly recommend!”

“Rebecca was fabulous! She visited our kitties every day when we were out of town and gave us great updates throughout. She sent us beautiful photos of the kitties (seriously, she should consider a career in photography) in addition to little anecdotes about how her visit went. About: I’ve gained experience the last few years in taking care of our German Shepherd, Luna and sweet kitty, Cookie! I always dog sit for friends when they’re out of town and I’ve learned how to give pills to dogs. One of my friend’s dogs has allergy problems and has to take pills for it, so she had to teach me how to do that. I love playing fetch and taking dogs on walks! I also wouldn’t mind giving your dog a bath (or taking him/her to the pet store to bathe them there!). Feel free to message me with any questions you might have! I am available every day after 4:00 and every weekend as needed. I have a flexible schedule and have a good amount of free time. I will make sure your animal or animals get the care they need and make sure they are well taken care of no matter what!
About: I have been a vet tech for 14 years now and I absolutely love the work I do. Unfortunately, being a single mother doesn't allow me to fully commit to veterinary clinic hours. I am starting up my own mobile pet service business called Pampered Pet. I provide excellent pet care along with other services such as nail trims, sanitary and paw shave, baths and more. I will give your fur-baby lots of love and attention so you can rest your mind knowing your pet is in great hands. If there happens to be an emergency situation while I am there, I know what steps to take and have veterinarian contacts on hand. I am committed to all my clients and their fur-babies. Please contact me with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your fur-baby. I currently run my own business so I will have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention and loving they deserve while you are away. We are working on a fence at the moment. Your pup will love playing with my sweet yellow lab. If needed, I can always put my dog in his kennel. I do not foresee that happening though.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
