About: I have been petsitting/housesitting for years as I did through high school for many of my neighbors and family friends! I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and needs so they feel comfortable and cared for. My schedule is currently flexible and varies week to week. About: My family has had cats, dogs, rabbits, and horses for almost my entire life. I have grown up around pets and have tremendous love for all of them. I have taken my Australian Shepherd to puppy school and learned from a professional how to handle him, and we have owned various breeds of dogs and cats. My mom and I captured, neutered, and re-homed feral cats that had wandered into our old property. Now, I own one of those (not-so-feral-anymore) cats, Jade, and a foster fail, Gia, along with my dog Ozzie. I have been riding and showing horses since I was 9 years old and have a lot of experience in taking care of large animals. I was a D1 equestrian athlete at UGA, and I'm now a veterinary assistant for Banfield! I have some extra days off and I would love to spend that time getting to meet and take care of your furbabies! I am a full-time veterinary assistant at Banfield, so my schedule is very irregular. I get my schedule a month in advance, but it will not always be the same. I will make sure that my availability is reflected in Rover as far out as possible so that I can take care of you and your pet! My dog and cats roam my apartment freely throughout the day, and they all sleep with me on the bed at night. We play with my Australian Shepherds 4-5 times a day, with his favorite game, frisbee! In a clients home, I am open to caring for their pet anyway they would like, whether they need them to be in a crate, go for a walk, or to play ball!
About: I am an enthusiastic dog lover with 11 years under my collar. I started just personal care with my own pets and then decided to work at a vet. I have 2 years of professional experience at a vet boarding kennel. I have both personal and professional experience giving baths, walking, feeding and giving oral medication. I have worked with multiple dog breeds small to giant, puppy to senior. For Care inside my home: 1. Your dog(s) MUST be treated with flea/tick/worm meds and are to be up to date on all their shots. 2. They need to be crate trained for when I have to leave my home, UNLESS the stay is not overnight and I know I won't be going anywhere that day, they do not need a crate. The ONLY exception your dog(s) can do a stay without a crate is they must have no chewing habits and must be house trained, and that if they cause any damages you agree to pay 100% of the damage. 3. Your pup must get along well with other dogs and not have anti-social/aggressive behavior, including excessive food aggression. 4. if your dog(s) cause any damage, that was out of my control, you agree to pay 100% of the damage cost in cash once the day the sitting is over. No exceptions whatsoever. FOR BOARDING: Please provide whatever your pet will need. Such as their collar, leash, certain play toys they like, their dog food and treats, crate, and bedding. It is recommended the bedding not be new so that if your dog has separation anxiety from you, the bedding will have your scent on it. You can even stick a half-worn T-shirt or pillow case in the kennel. I work from home so I would have plenty of time to help you take care of your furry loved one. I prefer weekdays, however I am open to an occasional weekend when you need. I have a keen attention to detail and can easily follow all instructions and needs for your pet and home. I would have the utmost respect for your home and take care of your furr baby like they were my own. I will take care of any little presents your pet is trying to leave for you, indoor and outdoor ensuring you have no worries but getting love when you get home. When taking walks I like to make sure dogs have enough time to take in all the smells and get plenty of exercise.

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
