About: I have owned and cared for both dogs and cats all my life. I have a years experience as a kennel tech handling reactive dogs for work and 3 years working with my own. Im very familiar with multiple training methods. I work part time on James Island. Available for afternoon walks and check ins, and on my days off, house sitting given enough notice beforehand. About: *PLEASE READ* Transparency is important to me, so I want pet parents to know I work full-time in Mount Pleasant during the weekdays (7:30 AM–4:00 PM). Because of my commute from Summerville, I’m unable to leave work early before 4:00 PM. About: I am an enthusiastic dog lover with 11 years under my collar. I started just personal care with my own pets and then decided to work at a vet. I have 2 years of professional experience at a vet boarding kennel. I have both personal and professional experience giving baths, walking, feeding and giving oral medication. I have worked with multiple dog breeds small to giant, puppy to senior. For Care inside my home: 1. Your dog(s) MUST be treated with flea/tick/worm meds and are to be up to date on all their shots. 2. They need to be crate trained for when I have to leave my home, UNLESS the stay is not overnight and I know I won't be going anywhere that day, they do not need a crate. The ONLY exception your dog(s) can do a stay without a crate is they must have no chewing habits and must be house trained, and that if they cause any damages you agree to pay 100% of the damage. 3. Your pup must get along well with other dogs and not have anti-social/aggressive behavior, including excessive food aggression. 4. if your dog(s) cause any damage, that was out of my control, you agree to pay 100% of the damage cost in cash once the day the sitting is over. No exceptions whatsoever. FOR BOARDING: Please provide whatever your pet will need. Such as their collar, leash, certain play toys they like, their dog food and treats, crate, and bedding. It is recommended the bedding not be new so that if your dog has separation anxiety from you, the bedding will have your scent on it. You can even stick a half-worn T-shirt or pillow case in the kennel. I work from home so I would have plenty of time to help you take care of your furry loved one. I prefer weekdays, however I am open to an occasional weekend when you need. I have a keen attention to detail and can easily follow all instructions and needs for your pet and home. I would have the utmost respect for your home and take care of your furr baby like they were my own. I will take care of any little presents your pet is trying to leave for you, indoor and outdoor ensuring you have no worries but getting love when you get home. When taking walks I like to make sure dogs have enough time to take in all the smells and get plenty of exercise.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life. Was a vet tech for 6 years, also worked medical at a zoo and now and have been human medical for over 25 years. I have Red Cross pet Fist Aide and CPR certification. I will only take care of your pups on the days I’m off other job. So my schedule will be open for those 2 days. About: I have 3 dogs and 2 horses myself so I have plenty of experience with animals. I love taking dogs on walks or out to the the park to go play and make friends. I am an athlete so taking the dogs with me to exercise is always fun. I’m very organized so high maintenance pets are not a problem for me. Having horses I can deal with a lot. Young dogs are also not a problem I have had dogs in the past that have had puppies or I have raised dogs from puppies. Choose me to be your dog’s or cat’s best friend when you’re away. I have a pretty set schedule from 6am-2:45pm but after that I can be pretty flexible. I also am happy to do overnight stays. On weekends I able to to multiple visits through out the day. I can go on 2-3 walks with them a day and do not mine taking them to a dog park to play. I let them out to potty multiple times during the day. If the weather is nice we go on walks and spend a good amount of time playing outside. If it is a raining day I spend time with them inside play as well. I try to be sure to stay on their schedule as best as I can. That they go on their regular walks and get their food at their regular times.
About: I've been around or watched dogs ever since I can remember. I've dog sat for everyone I know. Every dog is different so they all have to be taken care of differently. I have three of my own. Abbie is a chiweenie and the oldest at 14 years old. Flint is a chihuahua and 8 years old. Then Sadie is the “baby” even though she’s a blue heeler and the biggest at 4 years old. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
