“Jeanne was great with my pup. She sent regular pictures and made me feel comfortable knowing he was well cared for. Not only was she always responsive, she showed a depth of knowledge regarding canine body language that made me know Kilo would be safe and cared for in my absence!”

“Laetitia is AMAZING! Very warm and friendly and took great care of my baby while I was away. My girl Gemma felt right at home and she came home very happy. Definitely recommend her for your dogs care!!”

“First time using the Rover Ap and we had a very nice experience. Genny was very responsive and took very well care of our Ellie. Updates and pictures were often which was great and comforting for the family to know she was being well taken care of. Barney, Genny’s puppy was so nice and a very friendly guy. Great experience here and will be back to visit Genny in the near future with our sitting needs. Thank you Genny!”

“Shadow immediately remembered Amanda’s house and was soooo excited. I feel like my dog had her own vacation! Amanda always sends me daily pictures of Shadow which always puts my mind to ease. Highly recommend Amanda!”

“Stephanie was so kind and helpful. She set me at ease, making me feel comfortable during the meet and greet. She did a great job looking after my pup and providing updates while I was out of town!”

“Sienna, James, their family, and their sweet pup Sully were absolutely amazing with our little Parker! They treated him just like one of their own and made me feel completely at ease while he was in their care. Sienna sent me pictures all the time so I could see how well my baby was doing, which meant so much to me. It’s clear they truly love animals and go above and beyond to make them feel at home. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, loving pet care. We’ll definitely be using them again! 💕🐾”

“Saffron was terrific. She is very calm and capable and obviously loves what she does. Her house and yard are well setup for pets and I would not hesitate to recommend her. We really appreciated the frequent updates and our dog came home happy and well cared for.”

“Alexis and John were great! They were really accommodating even when the schedule changed a bit. They gave consistent updates and I was never worried Gunner wasn’t having a good time. Will definitely book them again for future trips.”

“Kristin and her family did an awesome job making sure our dogs integrated well with theirs and cared for them like they were their own while we were gone for the week. Went above and beyond with communication and care for our intensive puppy. We had no worries about them whatsoever at any point. If we ever need boarding again I won’t hesitate to choose Kristin!”

“Kristi and Will were amazing with our boy Winston. They sent multiple pictures and updates a day that helped us feel like he was getting the best care and attention while away from home. We could reach out any time to check in and would always get a response right away. We could tell he enjoyed his time and would absolutely recommend them to anyone that needed their pup watched!”

“Hannah was amazing. Definitely put our minds at ease, sending us updates with pictures and videos throughout the day. She loved on our girl as if she was her own. Thank you so much!”

“As always, Oswald has a blast with Jennifer and her family! In fact when I got there he was too focused on her to notice me!!! 😂🤣. That’s one of the reason I don’t mind leaving him because I know he’s well taken care of at his second home!!!”

“We are so happy to have found such a great boarder that truly cares about our animal. Diddums had the best time with you all! Thank you! Already booking our next visit! :)”

“Stephen and Jessica are amazing care givers! My precious pup absolutely adore the two of them plus their dogs! It is so reassuring to be out of town and be able to know that my dog is being loved and well cared for! Thank you both so much! Kirby already misses you! He’s exhausted! ❤️🐾❤️”

“This was my first time using Jessica and also Blu’s first time with a petsitter. I was extremely nervous to leave him for the weekend with someone he didn’t know because Blu gets anxious really easily. However, within the first hour of dropping him off, Jessica sent me a video of Blu and her dog River, chasing each other in her fenced in backyard having a good time. Her dog River is a sweet natured dog that really helps new dogs being left in Jessica’s care, acclimate to the new environment. Within just a couple hours, she sent me a photo of Blu laying on top of her husband on the couch, which is something I haven’t seen him do with anyone except myself. Jessica was extremely responsive providing pictures throughout each day he was there without me having to ask. She’d send me an update each day before I’d even begin to think about how he was doing. I highly recommend and will definitely be using her again every time I need a sitter in the Summerville/Charleston area.”

“Highly recommend Joshua & Jade. They sent daily pics, and were patient and understanding with Hondo who has major anxiety issues, and Henley who is our high energy pup. Dogs were clean and happy when we picked them up. Will definitely reach out to them again for our future travel needs.”

“Amanda took great care of our dog and we did not worry while we were away. She sent pictures and updates daily which was amazing to know he was having so much fun playing with her two dogs!”

“Zoe took excellent care of my 4 cats while I was out of town! During our video meeting before the visit she asked great questions and made me feel reassured that my babies would be in good hands. I will absolutely request her services again in the future!”

“I went looking for a Rover sitter very early in the morning and she had already updated when she was available. That alone convinced me to book her. The meet and greet went well and I knew that she would take great care of my babies. She is simply the best. My "vampire kitty" looked well cared for in the pictures she sent me. Next time I need a sitter, Mya will be my choice.”

“Trying was so attentive to my dogs Buoy & Earl! I could tell that from the moment they met her, they really liked her vibe! She was always very communicative whenever she was heading over, and let me know how they were doing! Plus, the photos on the Rover Card were just too cute! The house was always in order whenever she came by and played with them outside which I really appreciate it! The puppets can’t wait to see her again! Thank you Trinity!”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jordyn. She took amazing care of my senior dog, Lucky, who is both blind and deaf, and treated him with so much patience, love, and understanding. Before the actual sitting, Jordyn even came by to meet Lucky and go over his routines and special instructions, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing they truly cared about getting everything right. It’s not easy to find someone who understands the needs of an older pet, but Jordyn went above and beyond — keeping Lucky comfortable, calm, and safe the entire time.”

“This is the second time McKenna has taken care of our two cats, and we could not be happier with everything she does for taking care of them! Our cats instantly took to her, and they don’t like strangers typically. She is so patient and good with them! We will always be using McKenna to take care of our babies when we have to go out of town! Thanks, McKenna!”

“Jennifer did a wonderful job taking care of Kitten, and really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable knowing he was okay while I was gone. Highly recommend!”

“Hollie was great. I have used 4 different sitters on Rover so far and she was definitely the best. I told her the times could be flexible but she still always communicated with me. Will definitely use again.”

My goal is to keep your cat happy, healthy, and as stress-free as possible while you're away.
About: I’ve trained dogs to be crate trained, potty trained and leash trained. Haven't met many dogs who don't like me, especially after interacting with them more than once. Even the little chihuahuas that are ankle biters. Our doormat says "dogs welcome, people tolerated". Let me love your floofer, pupper, doggo or whichever term you use. Flexible career where I can make time to take care of your pups. Whenever I am needed or if they’re used to a specific schedule I can make happen. Treat your space and dogs as it’s my own. About: I've taken ticks out of fur, trimmed dog nails, cleaned kitty litters, and taught tricks since I was 12 years old. Growing up with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a foster dog in between taught me how to manage multiple pet care. I've cared for pets old, new, sick, and shy. I know how to balance love & care with responsibility, and keeping your pet behaved.*Note: Pets in photos are my own family pets, or pets allowed on specific furniture. I will not pet or allow your animal on furniture they are not permitted to be on. I'm currently in part time work, so I have a very open schedule. Can put multiple days in a row into caring for your pet, with particular weekend availability. While care and basic needs come first, my secondary goal is to make sure I am reinforcing good behavior and discouraging bad behavior in your pet. I understand that part of ensuring a pet's safety & wellbeing is making sure they are not gaining forbidden access to certain objects or locations, or participating in harmful behavior. I promise to do follow any rules or guidelines you set for your pet.
About: I promise to treat your fur baby as if they were my own! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, and now I have my own two cats who are my world! I’m comfortable with bathing, medications, and appointment visits. I know what it takes to care and love for a pet that has become your fur child and one of the family! Allow me to help care for your fur child when you are unable to! I am an Elementary school teacher in the DD2 District, my building is located in downtown Summerville. My work day is typically 6:00am-3:00pm. I’m more available during the summer months, June and July. If this schedule works for you and your fur baby then let’s meet and set the dates for your trip, and my time to love and care for your fur baby! I care for all pets as if they were my own (spoiling them with love and attention). I care for anyone’s home as if it were my own (clean, safe, organized). I am currently a stay at home mom so I am able to make our schedule whatever it needs to be to properly care for your animals while you are away. We have a yard with privacy fence so animals can run freely in the yard. We have a two year old lab that does wonderfully with other dogs and would love to be your pets playmate. “Jasmine was amazing with my almost 2 year old, 3 lb poodle mix Cocoa! We were in town for a family reunion and needed someone to watch her while we went on a tour. Jasmine came and picked her up from the hotel, reassured us that Cocoa would be in good hands, was attentive, gave us numerous updates to include videos and pictures! Cocoa came back happy and you could tell she felt a lot of love during her stay. ❤️ If we ever come back to Charleston, we will definitely be using Jasmine and would recommend you to use her too! 10/10 service!”

“I really appreciate Josh and Jade! This is my first time ever having to use pet sitters, and they made the process easy. Meet and greet was a breeze, and the option to have them pick up and drop off my baby has been a big help! Taco seems to like going, and I plan to continue with their services. I'm rebooking as soon as I hit submit on this review.”

About: I take the time to understand every dog’s personality—whether they’re shy, energetic, or somewhere in between—so each walk or visit feels safe, fun, and tailored just for them. Communication is a big priority for me too; you’ll always get clear updates, photos, and notes after every outing. Pet care is a natural part of my day-to-day life, and my schedule is very flexible, which means I can easily accommodate walks. Whether it’s early-morning outings, midday potty breaks, or evening strolls, I’m able to adjust my routine to fit yours. Your pet’s comfort and consistency always come first. I stick to your dog’s routine, providing safe, consistent walks tailored to their energy and needs. Each walk includes attention, patience, and clear updates so you always know how they did.
About: I absolutely adore pups of every size and personality! At home, I have a Shih Tzu, a Dalmatian (we thought he was a Lab until we did DNA testing!), and a sweet little Chihuahua. Each one is so different, but together they make the perfect pack. All of my dogs came from tough beginnings, but their resilience and ability to love inspires me every day. Giving them a safe, happy, and loving home has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I would treat your pets just like my own—keeping them safe, cared for, and comfortable while giving them all the love and attention they deserve. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or just making sure their needs are fully met, I’ll make sure your furry family members feel right at home. I’m a proud pet parent to three wonderful rescue pups, and I honestly couldn’t love them more. Watching them learn how to simply be dogs—to play, to trust, to feel safe and loved—has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. They give me just as much joy as I give them. Our pack has a well-loved routine: breakfast and dinner together (with Otis getting his pill at each meal). Since I work from home, two of the pups usually “work” alongside me—though Ollie prefers lots of days off. Their work ethic may be questionable, but their company is unmatched! Ozzie, on the other hand, takes his role as head of security very seriously, keeping a close watch from the front window. At home, the dogs are always by my side, whether it’s keeping me company during the day or snuggling at night. They sleep in bed, lounge on the furniture, and honestly think of me as part of the furniture too—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Caring for them has taught me the importance of patience, safety, and unconditional love—values I carry into caring for every dog I meet. Each dog is unique, and I happily adjust to their needs. From carrying Ollie up and down stairs, up and down from the couch to giving him stroller walks so he can keep up, I make sure every pup feels included. I’ll give your dog the same love, patience, and care I give my own. Our home has three friendly pups—Ozzie is the biggest at just 45 lbs! Yard is fully fenced and secure yard, but I always go outside with them to ensure safety. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture, but I’m happy to follow your preferences if you’d like your littles to stick to their own cozy spots. At home, we keep things relaxed and let the pups be themselves. We always keep fresh water available (three bowls downstairs that I’m constantly refilling!). If I’m dropping by to care for your pets, you can count on me to be prompt, respectful, and to show them the same love and attention I give my own. Keeping dogs safe is a top priority for me—I know the worry of even imagining a lost pet, and I’ll always make sure yours are secure. Beyond that, I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, whether it’s playing, cuddling, or even having a “deep conversation” with them. After all, they always have the best listening ears.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for the past two years and truly enjoy building trust with each one. I have experience walking, feeding, playing, and providing basic care for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and always make sure dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I take the time to follow routines and instructions closely so pet parents can feel confident their dog is in good hands. I am home seven days a week since I attend school online. Even when I need to run errands, I am usually gone for no more than two hours at a time. This allows me to provide frequent supervision, attention, and care. When I am not home, my wife is also available to help care for the pets, so they are never left alone for long. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for every dog in my care. I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get exercise under supervision. I closely follow each pet’s routine, instructions, and any special needs provided by the owner. Dogs are always supervised, given plenty of attention, and treated with patience and respect so they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for at all times.

“Oreo had the BEST time! He usually is very antisocial and is scared of other dogs, but he had made friends with Cleo (Lizzy's dog). He also comes back from doggy daycares stressed and overwhelmed, but he seemed so refreshed and happy when he came back:) Would definitely recommend Lizzy as the best dogsitter!”

With caring for pets in my home I would keep them downstairs mainly in the kitchen and living room area, I have a large backyard for dogs to use and space to take for walks! With clients home I would ask what their preferred methods are!
About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mother served on the board of a Jack Russell rescue — which meant at least three of them running around at any given time. My first dog as an adult was Molly, a border collie who never met a person she didn't like. Every dog I've cared for since has gotten that same love and attention. When it comes to housesitting, I treat every home like my own. I bring in the mail, water the plants, vary the lights, take out the trash, and send regular photos and updates so you can truly relax. You come home to exactly what you left — sometimes with a very happy pet (or two or three...) at the door. My availability is genuinely flexible — some weeks I'm fully available, others I'm part-time, so I always recommend checking my calendar for current openings. What stays consistent is my commitment: when I'm with your pet, I am fully present and fully focused. I work around your schedule, your pet's routine, and whatever your family needs. I provide care exclusively in your home — because that's where your pet is most comfortable, and comfort matters. I believe the safest pet is an attentive one, so I give every animal in my care my complete attention. Your home is treated with the same respect I'd give my own, and your pet's routine, quirks, and needs are taken seriously from day one. In rare emergency situations, I am able to bring your pet into my home for overnight care, so they are never left without a loving hand. You won't have to wonder if everything is okay — I'll make sure you know.
“Amy thank you so much. Hopefully Bubbles will come around soon. She’s has a funny little personality. Sorry you had to carry her out to walk. Maybe sooner or later she’s going to loosen up. Thanks for helping us again. I enjoyed my birthday with the kids.”
About: I am a former veterinary technician who misses the joy of caring for fur babies, feathered and scaled ones too! Due to my background, I have experience with just about every animal under the sun, and am comfortable providing additional care for your fur baby on top of basic care, such as medication administration or special needs. Drop in visits will include feeding, changing water, a 15 minute walk/attention, a little play time, and any additional health requirements based on the animal's needs. I'm glad to accept any additional accommodations, to be discussed upon request. I can accommodate any species needed, so please feel free to contact me if your household includes some of the less common non-human members. I love furry, feathered and scaled alike. I look forward to the opportunity to care for little and not-so-little ones! I have flexibility day and night to support your pet care needs. With my current work schedule I’m extremely flexible and am able to adjust to accommodate your needs as much as possible. I provide drop in services at your home where your pets are most comfortable. My goal is to avoid disruption to your pets’ routine as much as possible!
About: I promise to treat your fur baby as if they were my own! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, and now I have my own two cats who are my world! I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was a child for family, friends, and neighbors (overnight/extended stays, walking, pet sitting for a few hours, bathing). I’ve fulfilled any and all caring needs. I will respect your pet and home as I would want someone to do mine. Growing up with pets and having my own, I know that a clean and safe environment is a priority. I’m comfortable handling any and all house duties that you may also need fulfilled. You can trust me that your home and fur child will be in good paws(hands)!
About: As an animal owner myself, I know what I look for in a pet sitter, your fur babies will be cared for just as you care for them. I also do photography as a hobby, you will always have cute photos sent to you. I am a stay at home mom, because my schedule is flexible, I'm able to work around what is needed for taking care of your fur babies. I have found that when a new person enters an animals schedule, staying on the schedule they are used to helps everyone adjust. I feel keeping the animal (s) on a schedule they're used to is helpful.
About: Hi there! My name is Hannah, and I've never met a pet I didn't love like my own. Growing up with Labs, cats, and even chickens gave me a lifelong love for animals. From pet sitting and dog walking to caring for my own pets, I have experience with it all. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy caring for dogs and cats through walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting while keeping their routine consistent and providing them with plenty of love and attention. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow each pet's routine, provide plenty of love and attention, and carefully follow all feeding and medication instructions. I'll also keep you updated with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my whole life. I’m 19 now, but I’ve been surrounded by pets since I was little dogs, cats, and even rescues. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love and attention to animals of all kinds. Friends, neighbors, and family regularly trust me to care for their pets, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Pet care is part of my daily routine I’m home often and spend a lot of time caring for my own animals. I’m flexible with mornings, afternoons, and evenings, so I can easily fit in walks, feedings, playtime, or check-ins. Taking care of animals isn’t just a job for me it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing every day. I create a safe, loving environment for every pet in my care. My home has a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who are great with new friends. I'm always supervising playtime and can easily separate pets if needed. I’m also comfortable following any specific routines or safety requests you have to make sure your pet feels at home.
I am very tidy and keep my own space well kept. I go above and beyond.
About: Hey! I have experience as a veterinary professional with over 10 years of caring for pets, including emergency medicine. I’ve always had a burning passion to care for animals since I was young. I am experienced in giving medications and also providing lots of attention and love while you’re away. I have pets of my own and understand the love, care, and affection they need while you’re away and I know what it’s like to need someone special to take care of them. I enjoy being active so going on walks, playing tug-of-war, or even ball is not a problem. I love to keep pet parents updated with pictures and videos. I like to follow the same routines as you would for your furry family members to ensure they have a calm and comfortable experience. I will provide exceptional and experienced service for you and your furry friends so you can relax in knowing they are safe and comfortable:) We can always figure out a schedule that works for everyone! I am always trying to figure out what works best for everyone’s schedule, so if you have questions we can talk prior to booking. I do not board at my home. Typically to keep a nice stable and calm environment I encourage my clientele to allow me to stay at their home or periodically check in on their pets in their own home. I have found that over the years being in their own home is where pets are most comfortable and safe.

“Laetitia is AMAZING! Very warm and friendly and took great care of my baby while I was away. My girl Gemma felt right at home and she came home very happy. Definitely recommend her for your dogs care!!”

“Michelle took such great care of our two dogs. Our big mutt is kinda weird with other dogs & needs someone to care for him who understands his body language and nuisances. Michelle was incredibly qualified for Rip’a “weirdness.” She sent several pictures and checked in frequently. She also had great advice for training and information I should look into to better care for Rip. If you’re looking for a very knowledgeable caregiver, look no further! Michelle is wonderful.”

“Rachel is an animal lover which makes her a perfect sitter for my dog! She is very easier to communicate with and sends daily updates. She does require a meet up to make sure my dog would get along with her two dogs and kids in her home. I thought that was a great idea as I was able to see how my dog would be in a new environment. I would highly recommend Rachel for all your pet sitting needs!”

“Megan was absolutely fantastic!! We boarded our large breed dog, Dutch, with her for over a week while out of town and had an amazing vacation knowing that our pup was being loved and cared for like her own. We loved getting the frequent updates and pictures showing he was having a blast, and Megan always communicated quickly and was extremely flexible with scheduling our pick up and drop off times. We will definitely be trusting her with our pup again, 10/10 seriously cannot recommend her enough!!”
