“Meridith is an absolute hero. As a newly single dog dad of 8 months, and for 7 months Meridith has been such an absolute godsend to make sure a large part of my life, Cosmo is happy and well taken care of. She is understanding and accommodating. She is not just a dog walker from an app, she is a friend to cosmo and myself, a great lady.”

“I had a great experience with this dog walker! They were incredibly kind and patient with my senior dog Max, who’s 11 years old and moves at his own pace. It was clear they really cared—after the walk, they made sure Max had water and was comfortable before leaving. I really appreciate the extra attention to detail and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and gentle with older dogs.”

“Abigail is very sweet and made the process easy with fast and consistent communication. My dogs took to her immediately during the meet and great and she has since taken my dogs on walks. Will definitely use her again.”

About: My husband and I have lived in and near around Champaign for 6 years. We have 3 cats together, Max, Little Miss and Bella. We also have a red Golden Retriever, Archie. I love taking dogs outside on walks/runs and playing fetch. I also like the challenge of teaching new tricks to dogs as I've been able to teach and maintain the basic tricks that dog owners prefer with the appropriate amount of time. Cats can be some of the most interesting creatures out there. So, I love to hangout inside with the cats and cuddle or play with them. I worked at Pet Supplies Plus for almost 2 years. Most recently, I'm a Veterinary Assistant for 4 years. So, I have experience with all types of animals and veterinary care. I'm currently not working. So, I've got plenty of time to hangout and play with your furry ones.! Currently, I cannot offer overnight, unfortunately. As, I'm a pet owner myself. However, I'm glad to pop in for a while throughout the day. I will always keep your dog on leash (I prefer harness. As it does not pull on their necks) if there is no fenced in yard available. Even if there is a fenced in yard, I like to watch them to make sure they don't get out of the yard or get into something they shouldn't.

About: Pre-vet student dedicated to providing quality to care to all of your fur babies. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for 8+ years, on top of being a veterinary assistant. I have experience caring for all animals including exercise and administering medications. I have experience with all ages, from 6-weeks to 16! I have a rescue german shepherd of my own, so I am also familiar with the more fearful babies. I put your pets need above anything else! I am working part-time as a veterinary assistant so I have multiple days a week that are open for pet care! I truly enjoy meeting and caring for new animals, and would love to fill up my off-days with caring for your pet. I currently don't offer boarding in my own home, but I can come to you and treat your babies as my own! I love seeing pets in the environment they are most comfortable, such as their own home. I provide compassionate care to your pets in and out of the house.

About: I've been raised with all kinds of dogs since I was young, from Pomeranian to Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I'm familiar with puppy behaviors, as well as care for elderly dogs. My days off are Monday & Tuesdays to give me plenty of time to care and play with your pets in the early mornings to overnights. Otherwise I currently work in the community Thurs-Sun 8am-5pm with Wednesdays being 12-5, though I'm able to step away for any walks, drop-ins, or play times needed! Please reach out with any scheduling requests and I'll do my best to accommodate for you! I prefer crate trained pets, much like my own, but I'm comfortable being around free roam and cuddly buddies! If given enough time in advance, I would love to meet your pet beforehand to ensure a comfortable and informative visit for the both of us.

About: I have been around animals my whole life but professionally just over 3 years! As a college student on break I have an extremely flexible schedule to dedicate to your pups needs!! I have a yellow lab name named bailey which is my absolute world! With professional experience working in a kennel that includes, I cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m trained in grooming, recognizing early signs of health issues, and handling medications confidently and safely. I know how to stay calm under pressure and respond quickly in case of an emergency. I’m also familiar with maintaining training routines. especially with working dogs, as my own dog Bailey is a trained hunting dog. I’ll make sure your pup is well cared for, both physically and mentally, just like I would for my own. As I have mentioned previously, I am currently still on summer break before college and have recently left my kennel job this past week so I will have ample time to take care of your fur baby! My schedule is currently available all day! I care for pets with the same attention and love I give my own dog, making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable at all times. I follow any routine you provide, including feeding, walks, playtime, training, and medications. I understand that routines are important as it comes to making them feel safe and a constant when you are away! (My dog bailey has a strict routine so I get this!) When it comes to your home, I treat it with complete respect and care! Keeping things the same as it was left, secure, and following any house rules you share. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel totally at ease while you're away and stress free!

About: I have had all kinds of pets since I was a kid. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, hamsters and bunnies. I see them as the family members. I’m currently working part time, so I am very flexible. I can do drop-in visits of 30min or more. I can work around your schedule. Im leaving in an apartment with my two lovely cats. I will be happy to do drop-in visits at your place for the safety of everyone.

About: Pets make everything better. They are funny, know when you're sad or sick, and most of all, they are family. I have an amazing little peanut who I adopted from the Champaign County Humane Society when he was three months old and he is my everything! I'm a caring and loving person, and I will give your pets the affection and attention they deserve. I love going for walks even if it's raining or snowing!! I have a lot of experience watching dogs and just like people, pets unfortunately get sick too, and I know how to take care of them when they are. I also know what its like to have to leave your pets at home when you travel, it could be sad or kind of scary at times. In my past, I've stayed overnight at different houses, so rest assured when you're away I will take great care of your pets! My availability is super flexible. Im available 7 days a week, anytime. Unfortunately life happens, and I can be there anytime you need me. I can't wait to meet your furry friend. I do a lot of drop in visits and I'm very trustworthy. I promise you a safe experience when you book me through Rover and your loved pets will get the same care and attention that I give to my own baby boy!

About: I dog sat for many people in my town during all years of high school and first two years of college! I moved farther away from home and would love to meet new furry friends! My weekends are completely open and my Tuesdays and Thursdays only have one two hour lab working with animals! Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays I have more classes but I have breaks in between where I could check in on pets! I always understand that each situation and animal is different so I always ask that the owner tell me exactly how they care for the animal and want me to care for them. For instance, I’ve had clients with elderly dogs on multiple medications needing a chill and very safe environment from other animals, and I’ve had other clients where their animal roams throughout the house all day and their cat comes in and out! Both are completely fine I just like to know what the animals are used to!

About: As an emerging professional, I found it to be wise to not get an animal of my own quite yet, but through this opportunity I can still be around and interact with your loving animal(s). I have interacted with an array of dogs, and currently my family has had 3 dogs. Brandy, a golden retriever who loved being outside and swimming, Jack (who is in my profile picture) a cocker spaniel who loved a good nap, and our other dog Ziggy, a long haired dachshund who has calmed down over the years but loves to great people with his loud bark. I have experience working with older dogs who require medication, so if your pup/cat needs that attention, I’ve got you covered. I like to think I’m an active person, so walks will be had as well. I also love giving animals baths, so if you are interested that can be included in my services! Thank you for your consideration! I currently have a full time job, but would have mornings, lunch, and after 5pm available to love on your pet. I make it a priority to make sure they keep their schedule and have an ample amount of attention. I think keeping pets in their homes is especially important when their parents are away, so that’s why I am more than happy to come to them. Just like humans, I want to make sure they feel loved and cared for even when you are not there. I love to cuddle and play with all the pets I watch as well so they will not be missing out on attention (haha)!

About: Instagram— stays_with_rose . Growing up I had many outdoor dogs and cats, one indoor dog being a senior pug. Once I separated from the military I got my first indoor cat, a medium hair American Tabby. Then a couple years ago I adopted a puppy and signed him up for training classes however due to COVID, those classes got canceled and I did all the training myself. It was a blessing though because after doing so much research, not only did I learn how to train a dog, but I also learned behavioral signs and can apply that knowledge to other dogs in the community. I am not a licensed trainer but can share what I learned if asked. I have been watching other dogs (family and friends) since I was in high school and into adulthood dealing with many different breeds and medical issues. I do love all animals though and am willing to watch more than just dogs and cats if requested. PLEASE READ ABOUT MY SCHEDULE **PLEASE READ** I work full time, if you're needing your pup or cat watched during the week then you must know I won't be home full time. Because I work full time, your pet will most likely be kenneled during that time unless they are nondestructive and can be left free in the house. I walk my dog and other clients dogs at least once every day and we have a few hours of playtime as well. On weekends, my time is devoted the animals, we go on at least 2 walks daily and play on and off throughout the day. Walks: Weekdays I can provide a walk when I'm off work at 430pm and on the Weekends I can provide walks usually at any time depending on other clients. Drop In Visits: Weekends: any time, M-F: 630-730am or 5-530pm or later While I do not have a fenced in yard, I do have a lead that my dogs get hooked up to and they get taken for many walks. I do not use chemicals in my yard or have toxic plants in the area. I have a second living room that has all the dogs toys and kennels. Pets are allowed on the furniture in my home and would most likely sleep in the bedroom. My dog sleeps on my bed but I know not all dogs like that so I do have a dog bed in my bedroom as an option as well. Cats have their own bedroom. Cats tend to be very picky about their environment, so my spare bedroom has been transformed into a cat room. I have scratching posts or cat trees throughout my home to offer the cats options. I understand how stressful it can be leaving your loved pet with others, and I understand how expensive it can be as well. I'm open to negotiations if you're in a tight spot.
