“Lori watched our dog Hana for four nights and we couldn’t be more pleased. Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

About: I’ve cared for many pets over the years for family and friends, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’m very attentive and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. I follow routines closely, whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just giving them attention and companionship. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they’re happy, clean, and cared for. Right now I have a very flexible schedule, so pet sitting fits easily into my daily routine. I’m able to be available most times of the day, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Since my schedule isn’t packed, I can focus on making sure each pet is comfortable, safe, and well taken care of while their owners are away. When I’m caring for pets at home, I make sure they get plenty of food, fresh water, exercise, and attention throughout the day. I take them on at least two or three walks during the day and make sure they get lots of playtime so they stay active and happy. I also keep their space clean, make sure feeding schedules are followed, and give them plenty of attention so they feel comfortable. At night I make sure they have a safe, comfortable place to sleep and that they’re settled in for the night. In the morning I repeat the routine by checking their food and water, taking them out for a walk, and making sure they start the day happy and well cared for.

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life and genuinely love being around animals. My dog, Bearra, a Lab and German Shepherd mix, recently passed away after living an amazing 15.5 years. She was such a huge part of my life and taught me how important patience, love, exercise, and attentive care are for pets at every stage of life. As a teacher on summer break, I’m looking forward to spending more time outside doing something I truly enjoy, caring for and spending time with dogs. I am a teacher on summer break, so I currently have a very flexible schedule with my days, evenings, and weekends available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. While I do not have a private yard, my complex has safe grassy areas for walks and bathroom breaks, and I enjoy taking dogs on walks around Coronado, Seaport Village, and Miramar Reservoir. I treat pets like family, so they are welcome on the furniture and will receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and care while they are with me.
