About: Hello! I'm just a natural born animal lover and have been surrounded by them all my life. I have over 15years experience working with animals in veterinary care and have a B.S in Animal Health Sciences. I have had experience with just about every breed and temperament of dog there is. While my passion is for dogs that does not mean I don't also love cats and have never been without one for a pet. My experience also includes caring for reptiles, rodents, pigs and even primates! My most fulfilling work was my time working as an animal health technician in an animal shelter. It brought me pure heartbreak and pure joy. It was so sad to see what conditions brought the animals to the shelter but was also rewarding knowing that I was making a difference in their lives. During my time working in shelters, I gained experience interacting with both shy dogs and aggressive dogs and am comfortable with both. While I've always had pets, I stepped away from working with animals to work in health care some years ago. I really miss the interaction with animals and caring for them. It is my one true passion. I feel I have an instinct into how an animal is feeling and am able to meet that need. I will always make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. I'm currently working part-time in health care so have plenty of time open to care for your pet. I mostly have afternoons, evenings and weekends available. While in your home I will take all measures to ensure that your pet is safe and secure. We will leave no doors open and will always have a dog on a leash before walking out the door.

About: I have taken care of dogs, and pet/house sitting for friends, family, and other people throughout the last 6.5 years. My family had two dogs while growing up who I adored and loved taking care of. I also worked at a dog daycare for a bit during my freshman and sophomore years of college. I have always enjoyed being around dogs and spending time caring for them. They deserve all the love and attention they can get! I am detail-oriented and pay attention to the little things that matter. I do have a part-time job so I am available Mondays and Wednesdays after 11:00 am, as well as Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays after 4:30 pm and anytime on the weekends. I have always loved working with and spending time with dogs. Being mindful of their body language, the environment they are in, and many other factors is important in making sure they are well cared for and comfortable. Dogs - just like humans, love their routine and I intend to stick to it. I love taking pictures and providing several updates while taking care of pets. I believe it is important to keep owners informed and up to date on how/what their dog is doing. Especially because I know that when I miss my dog it's always nice to know that they are okay.

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals. I would be honored to care for your pet. Whether it’s giving your pup a walk, watching them over the weekend or even popping in for a quick checkup. I love cats & dogs and understand that our animals are apart of our family and should be treated with love and care. I work full time during the week and have free time on the weekend for assisting with pet care. I recently graduated from Portland State University and have a strong passion for helping animals. I believe that care for pets looks different for every pet! Some animals have special needs or quirks that deserve full attention. About: Growing up in the country, I've always been surrounded by animals - taking on the role of rescuer, caregiver, ear-scratcher, and fur-mama. Currently away from home and from my animals, that source of joy is no longer a part of my daily routine. This has left a void that I'm hoping to fill by helping you care for your fur-babies! Communication is VERY important to me - I totally understand the need to receive regular updates and pictures and I will gladly fulfill it :) I currently work remotely and volunteer part-time. This gives me the flexibility I need to add a little something to some of my non-working/volunteering mornings and afternoons. My current home doesn't allow pets- however, at my previous home, our 2 dogs and 3 of 7 cats were indoor/outdoor. The dogs have a strict feeding schedule with personalized portions and additions to their food. I also give the dogs oral flea meds once a month, and have andministered oral anti-inflammatory meds in the past. The cats have wet food in the morning in the garage, with feeders of dry food to graze throughout the day. While they're relatively independent- I have to give them a lil love whenever me meet.

“Blue is wonderful! My dog liked her right away. He is a funny pup - he can be loud and high energy and yet he can be very skittish with dog walkers. That was not the case with Blue. She is just very warm and has a calming presence. She has excellent communication (and has been very patient with me figuring out this app). On this walk my dog also met her kids which from the pictures I received, I can tell that he thoroughly enjoyed and I appreciate the extra socialization! About: I have been a HUGE animal lover since birth and I have pet sat and walked dogs for neighbors and friends for at least 10 years! I also trained my service dog from a pup and he just turned 3! I would love to meet your furry friend and send them home well loved and happy! I already walk my pup many times a day so I am used to being active and I would love to help out some more pups in my neighborhood! I always listen to what the pet parents tell me and give all of my attention and love to their animals. I am flexible and willing to navigate any changes that may arise.
