About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Since I was 16, I’ve cared for pets of family and friends—everything from dogs and cats to birds, rats, and even horses. I grew up surrounded by animals and have always loved getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve also trained my own dogs and friends’ dogs to do over 30 different tricks, so I’m very comfortable with animals who are energetic, shy, or still learning. Additionally, I spent a few months working at an animal sanctuary in Costa Rica, where I helped care for a variety of animals and gained valuable hands-on experience. Whether they’re a playful puppy, a curious kitten, or a sweet senior in need of extra TLC, I’ll treat your pet like one of my own—making sure they feel safe, comforted, and completely loved while you’re away. I’m currently in between jobs because I am moving out to Lafayette soon. So I’m just looking for side work And my schedule is free. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I always focus on creating a calm, loving, and familiar environment. I follow the pet’s usual routines as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, or medication. I make sure they get plenty of attention, comfort, and gentle care, especially if they're shy or have special needs. It's important to devote enough time to our pets' needs to ensure their health and happiness. Caring for pets in the home involves feeding them, providing fresh water, exercising them, cleaning up after them, and providing affection and attention. This may include administering medication and ensuring they are groomed and healthy. In a client's home, the caregiver may also be responsible for ensuring the home is secure and safe for the pet while the owner is away. Different types of pets have different needs, so the care provided will depend on the species, breed, and individual animal. I am currently working part time, so I have ample time to give your pets all the love, walks, food, and attention they may need! I can (but not limited to) feed , take for walks, play outside or at the park, crate, whatever you or your furry friend need, I can do!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid for family and neighbors! I enjoy playing with them and walking them too. I would also work with puppies with potty time and when to go. I am a full time employee every other week, but while home I enjoy taking my dog on walks. Your dog would get the time needed or if he/she is more lazy we can relax at home! At your house, it is up to your desire on how to specifically care for them. I am more than willing to take your dog outside to play while caring for them so they can run off energy!

About: I am active and love to be active with a canine. I moved back to Louisiana from Hawaii in 2021. I have been an active Rover sitter in Honolulu since 2018. I love dogs and enjoy when they visit my home. My sweet Bear passed away last year so opening my home to care for other fur babies is extra special. I would really like to share the love I have to give with your dog/s. Also, I know dogs miss their owners and get lonely when their loved ones are away. I enjoy being able to keep your dog/s company and make sure they have all of their needs met; love, attention, treats, activities, etc. I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals (wild and domestic). I have owned dogs, cats, cows, horses, rabbits, chickens, sheep, goats, pigs, guinea pigs, hamsters, skunk, fish, turtles, sugar gliders, and prairie dogs. I have a college degree in biology and I worked as a veterinary tech while attending college. I work and babysit part-time so my schedule is flexible. I am home to cuddle and spend time in the yard as needed. We love to play outside. I have a fenced in yard with quite neighbors. It is very peaceful in my backyard. I love to spend time outdoors in my yard unless it is extremely hot or raining. I also love to take fur babies on outings to parks and wildlife areas.

About: I am a graduate student who absolutely loves pets. I live with my husband, our new dachshund puppy, & our sweet hunting dog. I’ve had dogs my whole life that have included, dachshunds, beagles, bassets, labs, & terriers. I also work with a well trained lab that retrieves. I have experience with taking care of family & friends animals & can offer references. We live on five acres, so your dog(s) would have plenty of room to play! I will love and take care of your pet as if it were my own! Can’t wait to meet your pup! I am currently working only on Mondays until 12 and Tuesday & Wednesdays from 12:00-5:30. I attend school remotely, so it will not present any difficulty with pet care! I have a friendly, trained dog that will keep your dog company! I’ve cared for several elderly dogs therefore I am well versed in administering medication.
