About: Ever since the age of 10 I’ve had responsibilities for our pets; taking them out to potty, playing/exercising, cleaning up any accidents, making sure they have food and water, and bathing. I would be happy to take care of and love on your babies! I’m currently on summer break from college and dog sitting is my only job so I have plenty of time available to care for your pets. I don’t board any pets at my house, but I do go to the client’s home. I can stay over at the house if that’s what the client would prefer, or do drop-ins.
“Alexis was great! Super communicative, on time, and kept me updated with lots of photos throughout the stay. It was such a relief knowing my pet was in good hands. Would definitely book again!”

About: Dogs are the most awesome pets to have. I love spending every free moment I have with mine Toby and Lance. They bring me happiness whenever I see them. They put me in check with what is important. I would have 20 of these little guys of my own if that would be possible. So instead I decided to become a pet-sitter and enjoy other people's pets. This also gives my dogs play time and social interaction with others. The greatest and most memorable times are the times spent with dogs. These guys deserve the best care and happiness we can provide them. So now Rover.com has provided me the opportunity to share my love for animals. You will not have any worries or doubts your will be in great hands of a responsible and attention to detail pet sitter.. Thanks for checking out my profile. I hope you book me soon for your pets! Mike J.

Can't wait to help with your fur babies. I work from home flexibly so I have plenty of time to care for your pup. My days are mine to schedule as I please so your pup will have plenty of attention. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space for your pets to hang out. I live in a great neighborhood that has a sidewalk perfect for walks.
About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, from farm animals to household pets, big and small, healthy and sick. Saying I love being around animals would honestly be an understatement! Over the years, I’ve helped care for ducks, horses, hamsters, rabbits, dogs, and more on a daily basis. I grew up with my own pup, Klare, and spent years taking her on daily walks and activities to help her burn off all that pit bull energy. Currently, I help care for a Pomeranian, a Wirehaired Pointer, and a Pit Bull mix, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and strengths, and I’m very attentive to animal behavior and body language to help keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or overnight care, I will treat them like they’re my own. I’d love the opportunity to walk, care for, or pet sit your furry family member! ❤️🐾 I am a full time student with a rotating clinical schedule, but I have availability throughout the week and on weekends. I keep a flexible schedule and am happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit their needs. 🐶🐾❤️ Im very respectful of one’s accommodations and requirements. I take full responsibility to leave you happy and worry free with everything your pet needs. Need an update? A picture of ur pet on the walk or while you’re gone? I got you! I can apply myself to any tasks needed.
About: I am active and love to be active with a canine. I moved back to Louisiana from Hawaii in 2021. I have been an active Rover sitter in Honolulu since 2018. I love dogs and enjoy when they visit my home. My sweet Bear passed away last year so opening my home to care for other fur babies is extra special. I would really like to share the love I have to give with your dog/s. Also, I know dogs miss their owners and get lonely when their loved ones are away. I enjoy being able to keep your dog/s company and make sure they have all of their needs met; love, attention, treats, activities, etc. I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals (wild and domestic). I have owned dogs, cats, cows, horses, rabbits, chickens, sheep, goats, pigs, guinea pigs, hamsters, skunk, fish, turtles, sugar gliders, and prairie dogs. I have a college degree in biology and I worked as a veterinary tech while attending college. I work and babysit part-time so my schedule is flexible. I am home to cuddle and spend time in the yard as needed. We love to play outside. I have a fenced in yard with quite neighbors. It is very peaceful in my backyard. I love to spend time outdoors in my yard unless it is extremely hot or raining. I also love to take fur babies on outings to parks and wildlife areas.
About: I have worked at a few vet clinics and I have worked in a doggy day care. I have taken care of all types of dogs. I have taken care of pets who need medication or have behavioral complications. I work full time in a Vet clinic but I am available most evenings after 4pm and I am available on Saturday and Sundays as well. I have a fenced in backyard for my dog to run around play, during the summer we love to get the hose out and have some fun. I have plenty of toys and a large crate in case a dog needs it.
About: I have had animals since I was 6, including horses, rabbits, dogs, and cats. For about 6 years, I've been dog sitting, barn sitting, and cat sitting for family friends. I've been around multiple different animals and breeds. I am currently a full time college student on break, so I have ample time to care for pets! I always enjoy meeting new people and their pets and taking some stress out of situations of having to leave behind our pets. I won't be able to care for pets in my home, but I can help with taking care of pets in my clients' homes. I ensure food and supplements are given at proper times, and I also learn my client's preferences for the pets. I'm a firm believer in getting to know the animal and their habits so nothing goes unnoticed.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets for over 7 years and have had cats and dogs my whole life. I truly love all animals and have cared for many, including some from birth who lost their mothers. From playful pups to senior pets, I treat every animal like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I currently work full-time during the day, but I’m off in the evenings, on the weekends and have half days on Wednesdays and Fridays. When I’m free, I plan on dedicating to pet care and schoolwork. I have an inside cat, but he is house trained and yard trained. I also did this with my grandparent’s dog who they’ve had since 2018. She is a very playful dog who loves outside play. They had a fenced in yard, but I would take her to the park often to give her more room to run around.
About: Excited to provide care for your fur babies! I am a loving and compassionate care giver and look forward to hearing from you! If you have any questions please let me know. I am available any day of the week. Either daily or for weekly booking. I am extremely flexible with my schedule as long as given a decent notice! :) I provide the same care for your pets the same care id provide my pets. Animals are my heart! I would give the utmost love and care!

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated, long‑time animal care professional with over 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician and another 5 years working in animal rescue and adoption services. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including seniors, special‑needs pups, and dogs who require behavior‑savvy handling. My vet tech background means I’m comfortable with medication administration, monitoring health changes, basic first aid, and recognizing early signs of stress or illness. My rescue work has given me deep experience with fearful, energetic, or previously underserved dogs, and I always meet each dog exactly where they are—patiently and positively. Above all, I’m an all‑around animal person who truly loves building trust and making sure your dog feels safe, understood, and well‑cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, or keeping a consistent routine, I’m here to give your pup the same level of care I’d want for my own. I currently work full time but will make your pets a priority. I can drop in any time in the morning/afternoon. Weekends are a breeze and I can do over nights. I can be flexible to any pet parents needs. We have a doggy park, or I can leash walk in my own yard. I have 3 very friendly, senior dogs. I can crate animals or leave them out. I can pretty much do it all in whatever environment if comfortable for clients.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
